Podio Still Punches WAY Above Its Weight
I've been a Podio user for 13 years. Despite its lack of internal integrations, it has always been one of the most flexible and powerful productivity tools I use. From stand alone apps to fully integrated and automated workspaces and workflows, Podio lets me build and edit custom solutions as and when I need them. I highly recommend Podio and encourage you to give it a try.
Vorteile
Unconstrained ability to build custom workspaces and apps on the fly. Utilizing the Advanced Workflow Automation capabilities (included with Premium plan) exponentially enhances the capabilities of Podio.
With its drag-n-drop interface, Podio is one of the most flexible and powerful tools available. Podio has been a no-code powerhouse before most people even knew no-code was a thing.
Nachteile
Has been extremely slow to evolve with new features. Also lacks internal integrations with 3rd-party apps, replying instead on API integrators such as Zapier. Because there are no boundaries or restrictions on what you can create, the initial learning curve is a bit of a challenge. Once you begin to think like a relational database, the magic happens.
Gründe für den Wechsel zu Podio
No boundaries or limits on what I could create. Podio give me the ability to create a true no-code platform for backend administration and service support.- Branche: Tiefbau

Podio Helps Run a Small Geospatial Firm
Our firm has been using Podio for 10 years. It has proven to be just as flexible as we need, allowing us to easily expand its functions as our needs change.
Vorteile
I love that it allowed our small startup company to build out our data and workflow automation needs for our niche business.
Nachteile
In the morning as things are just getting started for the day, Podio can be a bit slow when opening new tables. After the initial startup however, high levels of productivity ensue.

Used to be good now is outdated and poor customer service
I went from love to dissappointment. For many years it served us to organize the workflows of the company but gradually it was left behind and today it is an outdated and expensive platform. In addition, the customer service is really disappointing.
Vorteile
It's good for working with databases and relations among them. We used to have our complete ERP built in Podio.
Nachteile
- Podio used to be a good alternative when workspaces were customizable and external users could interact with the platform easily. However, this changed unilaterally and without notice, rendering most applications useless.
- Compared to platforms like Notion, Podio's system and infrastructure are perceived as outdated and difficult to configure.
- The customer service is poor, with delayed responses and a lack of empathy towards the customers.
- It is more expensive than more powerful and customizable platforms.

Flexible Work Management with Room to Improve
Overall, my experience with Podio has been positive. It’s a powerful and flexible platform that adapts well to different workflows and team structures. Once set up, it becomes a central hub for tasks, communication, and file sharing. While there are occasional performance hiccups and a learning curve, the productivity gains and collaboration features make it a valuable tool for managing projects efficiently.
Vorteile
Podio offers excellent value for money with flexible features that scale to different team needs. Its interface is intuitive, making task and workflow management straightforward. Collaboration is seamless with shared workspaces, file organization, and real-time updates. Customer support is reliable, and despite occasional minor bugs, overall usability remains smooth and efficient.
Nachteile
Podio can feel slow at times, especially with larger workspaces and many embedded apps. The mobile experience is limited compared to desktop. Customization, while powerful, has a learning curve. Notifications can become overwhelming, and occasional glitches or delays in updates sometimes disrupt workflow continuity overall.
