DIe haben illegal Geld von mir verlangt und es hat Monate gedauert, das zurückzuholen. Man kriegt jedes Mal eine neue Mitarbeite und muss alles von vorne an erklären. Ich habe dutzende von Stunden verloren - katastrophal. Ich hasse dieses Geschäft.

Customer Service
Looking for a new program ! I use to love the program but they have cut back on help I think and now you cant get help very easy . You have to wait forever. Not what it use to be!

Customer service was great when I signed up and it was great for about a year.

You can't get help. When you do the live chats they just keep taking you in circles. Sending you links to go to . I cant even get into my cloudbeds now and am just waiting on someone to respond through a email . Such a panic feeling and I have customers waiting to book and can't get in the system to book or see whats available .

Does the job, but somewhat disappointing
Frustrating, I was under the impression that the software was smarter. A simple report will force you to do a bunch of manual calculations. Taxes aren't included in payout breakdowns, not sure how that was decided.
Vorteile
It serves as an all in one PMS, channel manager, and communications hub. Support is available all the time despite not always being the most helpful. Nice calendar and dashboard.
Nachteile
The software can be painfully unintuitive. Reporting is oddly very lacking. Hostaway had much better reporting, which to me is a surprise. Each reservation coming from an OTA has pending balances (we are on Channel Connect) which isn't good for our book keeping. Airbnb which is the same for everyone doesn't get balanced out automatically, you have to do this manually. You also have to manually rectify cancellations otherwise they will show as paid. Google Hotel ads isn't working, be wary about this on your sales call because this was a big reason we joined, but so far we have no idea how this works.

Vorteile
There is a sense of leadership and responsibility found in Cloudbeds. It has for a long time served as an umbrella in my hospitality management journey. Chiefly, Cloudbeds optimize business performance through its daily assistance in operations. It is also easy to deal with customer complaints and inquiries.
Nachteile
I had issues with bookings. It was slow to load new entries which affected our schedule. The issue was attended by the support team.

They have an excellent sales team whom really oversold us on their service. Careful. Nice support team as well (if/when you can reach them) but very limited support hours, often hard to reach. Moreover, they have a lot of hidden fees (specifically for credit card processing) that make them a lot more expensive than we initially anticipated when signing up.

They have a turnkey solution, although many other PMS providers have it as well.

By far the biggest issues relate to very poor service. When you eventually reach a support person they are very nice but its so hard to reach anyone when you actually need help. Let me put it this way, we've used Cloudbeds for over two years and have spent the last three days trying to get help from Cloudbeds in merely identifying which report to use, and which line item to use to determine total gross revenue. A seemingly rudimentary question which takes hours of being on hold, finally reaching a junior rep who points us to room revenue (which is not total revenue), another points us to total payments, another points us to total debits, all of which have worked for the company for under 5 months. So when asked to respectfully transfer us to someone senior or experienced with cloudbeds we spend 25 minutes on hold only to be told that nobody is available. Its just so frustrating when trying to run 4 businesses and we can't even get a straight answer on our "total revenue" for a basic PL report we are trying to produce but have now spent 3 days trying to finish.

As if the lackluster communication wasn't enough, their decision to cancel our contract without any reasonable explanation was a slap in the face. We invested both time and money into this arrangement, only to be left high and dry. It's as if they have no regard for their customers' investments or the agreements they make.

If you can get past deployment you will like the software.
Frustrating. Be prepared for the worst. Expect to do everything yourself and if you get a little help from Cloudbeds, be happy about it.

Google Hotels Integration was the primary reason for the move.
Nachteile
The worst part of Cloudbeds is the support. The people posing as support agents are mostly message takers. At best, they will Google an outdated support article and drop a link in the chat. You are on your own. You will need to troubleshoot all issues yourself.
The launch was disorganized. They turned the API on even though they had not finished our website, resulting in several duplicate bookings.
There was no team leader or project manager. Communication amongst Cloudbeds divisions was not good. Communication with us was worse. The site launched 3 days late. The developer had the contact info for another hotel on the site, there was no SSL certificate and the booking engine wasn't embedded. After days of trying to get support to fix the issues we jumped ship and had a site developed on Wix. It is a better solution.
As I write this, we have been "live" for two weeks. I can no longer run Google Ads because we are unable to configure a conversion. This seems to be related to the fact that the tag is in the booking engine (framed) and the website but I am unsure, and again, there is no assistance from Cloudbeds.
I am happy to be on Google Hotels which is something Lodgify was unable to do. This may help make up for the fact that we can no longer advertise on Google. The software is fairly intuitive and easy to use. Mapping the units in the API was easy.
There is some very basic pricing manipulation missing, even with the PIE add-on.

This software is unbelievably user friendly and has made our property function at a high level. We have every tool necessary under one hood and my team feels comfortable navigating and enhancing the system as new features are announced. Cloudbeds understands how annoying the ecosystem of technology can be for an operator such as us (three independent properties) and has been a true partner helping our growth.

Cloudbeds is formally adding new integration partners to handle very "local" needs we have in Latin America related to government invoicing.

Front end is ok but back-end is far from acceptable
I was excited but after using it I was disappointed. On the front end, I do not deny that it has helped us in terms of inventory management and connection with OTAs. Nonetheless, the backend processes have really thrown us into utter disappointment. The support staff were trying to help but often provided workaround solutions that will put the property in a bigger issue. For instance, we had problems with having to manually confirm customers upon successful clearance of payment by Stripe and the solution suggested to us by the Support team is allow for a blanket confirmation regardless of whether the payment is cleared. I was utterly shocked to see that coming from the Support team as this comes at a high level of risk to the property given that the resort will be held accountable for the confirmation email.
The reason why we signed up for the Payment Processing module is so that we do not have to worry about receiving payments and do not have to worry about manually confirming payment ourselves. Besides, often when technicalities are involved, the Support team will say they need to speak to the Technical or Development team but without any proper deadline of when the problem will be solved. It is frustrated to deal with problems when there is no timeline attached as to when the problem will be solved. I suggest that the Support team work with the technical team to commit to deadlines for a problem to be solved.

I like it that it is a all-in-one software and it's easy to use.

The payment processing module is far from acceptable. Cloudbeds is integrated with Stripe but the integration is not complete and requires a lot of manual backend work to confirm a reservation once a payment is cleared. One of the reasons for signing up with Cloudbeds is to cut down the amount of manual work backend we have but only to realise later that there are many things that have to be done manually.
Manual confirmation required in a tech world - When we thought everything can be automated and Cloudbeds being a digital all-inclusive PMS provider, we were proven to be wrong. Let me give you a scenario, once a customer makes a booking and they choose to pay via credit card, a pending confirmation email gets sent to the customer while Stripe will do the payment verification and the process stops there. My team has to go back to the system to cross check each and every successful transaction and manually confirm the guests so that they get a confirmation email. What Cloudbeds could have done is to actually automatically switch the status of the guest from "Pending" to "Confirm and send email" upon receiving instructions from Stripe that the payment has gone through (this, at the time of writing remains manual on the part of property).
Besides, when a credit card payment fails to be verified by Stripe, Cloudbeds does not store the information of the customer so that we can offer the customer an alternative mode of payment. Basically if the payment fails, the info vanish

What I like the most is that CloudBeds keeps me in control. You see, they offer the "back-end" features like the ability of my website to now take payments, and let customers pick dates and make reservations. But, unlike other sites, you STILL maintain complete control over who you decide to let come and stay in your property. When I was using the other site, I was being forced to take certain people and being pressured to not address issues when they arose. It made me feel like I was being pressured. With CloudBeds, they don't send you customers. Customers find you and you decide.

It was a poor experience and we will be going back to what we used previously. It’s curious, but in the last year I’ve meet several other property owners that all had similar experiences and had left cloudbeds.

It’s cumbersome, very slow to update and correct problems and customer service is terrible.

Best Software to manage your property in hospitality.
Vorteile
Our property was using 3 other PMS which were quite highly rated on the market. CloudBeds is the best PMS solution we came across.
Customer Service we rate at 15/10. It's functionality - it can do everything your property might require.
If are you a small AirBnB owner or managing a big property this is the the best software you can get.
Individual approach to the customer and flexibility in everything is something that stands out compared to their competitors.
We recommend CloudBeds to everyone in the hospitality market. You will never want to change your PMS.

Great at some things, missing many
Cloudbeds is the best of an embarrassingly bad market. Their support is cheery and relatively quick to respond, which is all the more frustrating when they consistently cannot help you nor provide you insight into whether your issues will ever be fixed.
They provide an "ideas" site for their customers to use (so their employees aren't required to actually talk to customers), and they have gone as far as to REMOVE the ability to comment on ideas in order to add more detail/use cases/etc. If screaming into the void wasn't bad enough, now they've closed the door in front of your face.
Vorteile
Seamless integration with third party channels. Would be nice to have less manual work in between each, but that is not something Cloudbeds could change easily, since it's also up to the 3rd party.
Online booking widget/site is very good. Customer friendly, haven't received nearly any calls for people unable to figure out how to book. Calendar is relatively simple to use and provides ~80%+ of the info I need on a daily basis.
Nachteile
NO integration with a credit card swiping device. Instead, any walk ins or changes to credit cards for existing reservations require you to manually input the credit card, which is both time consuming AND costs us thousands of dollars extra a year in fees (keyed in cards are 1% higher than swiped for us).
No mobile app, meaning you need to use their site which is not mobile friendly.
Poor item entry to a reservation. Adding items to the system is a breeze, but adding them to a reservation takes 7 clicks IF you're already on the reservation folio, otherwise it can take 10 from the calendar! Total waste of time, especially when we sell numerous small items from our on premise store.

The best software in the market!
The problem that it resolve us was connecting to all the platforms and be able to compete with other hotels. Also making our guests book more easy, quick and safe.

What we like the most about this software is how easy is to use and learn, how it has never failed us and out guests, and how easy was to connect it to all of the channels, which increased our sales.

Used Cloudbeds for 4 years, so HAPPY to have finally found a much better product
Overall I have not been happy with Cloudbeds, and in fact have recently switched. In addition to the problems with user interface, slow/unresponsive customer service, extremely poor reporting, and calendar/channel management never really working, when I went to cancel it, they REQUIRE a meeting in order to cancel, or they will just continue to charge you. I've never heard of anything like this. Our new HMS is SO much easier to use, and their customer support is a thousand times better. Not to mention how much better their booking engine looks and works.

I chose Cloudbeds because they integrated with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and had a calendar that should have worked across all the channels.
Nachteile
Not only did the calendar not really work across the channels, but the software itself was ridiculously difficult to use. Extremely poor user interface. We required "help" with absolutely anything that was outside of perfectly typical (which was often), and would have to submit a ticket and wait (sometimes for days) to get that help.

How CB change the game.

CB has finally put a company in to one-man operation with their superior automate idea for company asset management. The market is open n development, too.
Nachteile
Upgrading program like door and power control by mobile phone, we need to have a solution to reach the hotel more, to make more use of the property. Sometime CB is very advance the property just need operator coaching directly. This not CB fault.

Chaque jour plus décevant
Mise en place lourde (comme n’importe quelle autre solution) en 2018. Depuis, nous l’utilisons tous les jours pour gérer un hôtel de 17 chambres au Brésil. C’est assez convivial et simple surtout le calendrier. Le système de tarification est lourd, la gestion des clients et réservations présente des bugs évidents depuis des années qui n’ont jamais été corrigés et sont fatigants au quotidien : par exemple une recherche par nom de client qui va afficher les réservations les plus anciennes au lieu des plus recentes > perte de temps systématique (c’est un exemple parmi tant d’autres).
Il y a souvent des bugs qui ne sont pas toujours corrigés et malheureusement le support est très limité, je n’ai jamais réussi à implémenter plusieurs OTA par faute de support compétent + réponse par email donc il faut s’armer de patience…
Nous avons essuyé les plâtres du système de tarification adaptatif ce qui a fait exploser tout notre système car Cloudbeds vendait des fonctionnalités absolument pas prêtes à être déployées > il a fallu tout reprogrammer + nombreux préjudices commerciaux sans jamais une excuse de la part de Cloudbeds.
Si la transition n’était pas aussi traumatique, cela fait au moins 3 ans que j’aurais changé de système. On reste donc avec Cloudbeds par dépit… le temps d’avoir le courage de changer.

Assez simple d’utilisation et tout intégré pour un prix qui reste raisonnable.
Nachteile
Beaucoup de bug, aucun support téléphonique, support en ligne décevant, volonté de faire des ventes additionnelles avec des produits ou services qui ne fonctionnent pas au lieu d’améliorer ce qui existe déjà.

Unstable, crashes and no explanation
Very unstable since November 2023 and no explanations, no compensation - Just answers saying that they are aware of the problem and working on it.

When it functions it is pretty ok but has some features that are worthless - E.g. housekeeping. There is no app, but a webapp that does not perform well
Nachteile
Since November 2023, there have been a lot of blackouts - Almost daily, there are some kinds of technical issues, and monthly, you can expect a blackout that lasts hours. And then there is absolutely no connection whatsoever.

Great for large businesses
Friendly team and the program itself is very good, however, if you are not technically minded, we found cloud beds to be very complicated and help is difficult to get and this was very frustrating.

The customer service is far too complicated and takes too long. There is no phone number so you can never just call a person and quickly get help over the phone. You need to log your problem by email then you have to wait for a confirmation then you have to wait for a response and all communication is done by email and sometimes the answer is not what you are actually looking for. This can take days which is just not use a friendly, and appropriate when you are running a busy business that needs problems sorted right away. Can cause a lot of stress!

Great Choice for Independent Hotelier
Overall, we are very happy with our choice in using Cloudbeds. It works very well for a hotel of our size.
Vorteile
Cloudbeds is an all in one system which makes running the day to day operations easy. I love the online program so that I can check on items and make reservations from our main corporate office. It helps to streamline as I am not at the hotel everyday. They are always creating new features and working on improvements which is great.
Nachteile
The program can be daunting to use as there are many ways to complete items. I also do not love the way their cancelled reservations work as I would love to see them zeroed out in an easier way.

Ideal para Gestionar tus calendarios!!
Una herramienta indispensable en la gestión de reservas cuando el hotel esta en cierta etapa de crecimiento, sencilla de utilizar en su fase básica, amigable y genera imagen para el establecimiento ante huéspedes y herramientas digitales como lo es el website, redes etc.

El que pueda actualizar fechas y precios en todos los canales de reserva que utilizamos y el bloqueo inmediato cuando existe una venta en alguno de estos canales. Esto facilito nuestra gestíon.

El poder llevar reportes financieros más exactos, dado aún nos duplica datos entre los que están reservas canceladas o bien no refleja algunas como los no show. Adicional el soporte técnico no es en tiempo real en el chat.

In summary, they give the impression of offering the most robust software in the market, capable of fulfilling any conceivable requirement. However, the truth is that they are years away from realizing this ambition.

The details regarding hidden fees and functionality are vague and somewhat dubious. Like any software, problems emerge, but it feels like I've had to submit 2-3 support tickets daily to get issues resolved.

THIEVES, they allowed someone to transfer my account without my approval and authorization. STATING THEY HAD "documents" THERE ARE NO DOCUMENTS, NO APPROVAL, NO AUTHORIZATION, they have gone against their own company policies. The person they transferred my account stole this and CLOUDBEDS ALLOWED it.

Multi channel integration options are pretty good.
Nachteile
Cloudbeds software is buggy especially when it comes to your property availability. Sometimes we'll notice days on your calendar that are blocked off for no reason. The customer support is the worst part about cloudbeds though. You can only message them through live chat or email and it's always painstakingly slow to get an answer to your questions. The software is not very user friendly so you will have a lot of questions about how to use it. Additionally, the checkout page on the website they build you is not end user friendly for customers.

I spent a lot of time describing and trying to fix problems

The system is easy to use. Consistently adding new features like Whistle and price point.
Nachteile
Took me a year of complaining for them to fix group bookings. And I believe that there are glitches in the availability matrix that block some available inventory. I’ve had multiple complaints from guests who have tried to book but cannot. Unforgivable issue since this should be their primary function. We’re still is that I’ve never know unless a customer calls.

Not sure yet...was sold on the fact VRBO Was part of Cloudbeds and it is NOT.This is casuing Heartburn and lost revenues

We were sold/told that VRBO and ABNB were able to be synced up with Cloudbeds when in fact after almsot a year it has not nor does Clodbeds know today when this will be fixed. ABNB is OK but not VRBONOW Our Bookings staff and maid service have twice the work making sure bookings are correct...priceless

Dreadful
We never got a chance to experience it. The set up was never completed. The person responsible was unresponsive. Cloudbeds still is trying to charge us even though no services were provided.

Cloudbeds not Ready for Prime Time
Our experience was very poor. Their implementation team was weak. The transition was not organized well and their support was poor.

On the surface their reports look modern, but when actually using their reporting it is limited.
Nachteile
I should have known there were problems at Cloudbeds as their contract had language saying that its users could not publish reviews. After some negotiations, I had them remove the language. Their contract does not comply with California privacy laws. They told us that their system integrated easily with QuickBooks, what they did not say is you have to use a third-party API translator and pay $49 per month for it and that that translator probably does not comply with privacy laws. They also said integration with QuickBooks is easy, they did not say it only works with QuickBooks on-line and not QuickBooks desktop. They also did not explain that you need a programmer to make it work as the mapping is difficult and complicated. They said they would handle the data export from our old PMS to Cloudbeds, what they did not tell us is that if you have a server-based system and not a cloud based system you have to do the data export. They told us that transition Expedia from our existing system to their system happens almost immediately, then day of transition they say 3 days…3 days with no bookings. That is thousands in lost revenue. The transition process from our old system to CloudBeds was done with limited help from them and communicating with their customer support was awful and almost exclusively via e-mail. They have you watch some videos and to some light follow up, but it is hardly a cohesive transition program. There is more, but suffice it to say the entire experience was a

Just awful. Inadequate software for the industry and 2023.

Staff if great. The software is just inadequate. I ve been in this industry for 12 years and used 4 softwares. This one is by far the worst.

Absolutely the worst customer support I have ever experienced in this industry. It is NOT possible to get in touch with accounting or payments. It took 3 months to get my invoice adjusted and services I do not use removed, yet still not all credit due was recorded and accounting, nor a manager ever followed up.if this wasn't bad, it got worse! We use their payment processor, well big mistake as well... we just suddenly stopped receiving our payouts... no emails, no calls, just no payouts. I ve reached out to support, the live chat agent said we will get back to you "as soon as possible". I said, what does that mean??? We are not getting our money! You can't tell me when I will hear from someone??? I am sorry, but no. It has been TEN DAYS without payments now, no calls, no emails, still nothing... how many businesses can survive not getting thier payments for ten days and counting? And Noone to talk to???Their website is also a joke, it is a way to keep you hostage. Because they own it. I had to rebuild it completely myself after they built it for me. It is a terrible product, stay away, don't make a mistake I made. I can write an essay how terrible this product is. They do have some really great staff, that I feel sorry for... they are true professionals.

Lack of Customer Service Support
It's frustrating when I am trying to look for a support. The phone lines are not responding. The chat line does not take any responsibility, nor offer any help. I have to be writing to them, wait for 24hrs, and have them tell us that they couldn't do anything!

Its not a complicated system, and rather easy to use.
Nachteile
The lack of Customer Support is frustrating, especially when Cloudbeds are the only ones who manages the property management, and there is a terrible mistake in the pricing. It's impossible for us to make any amendments. For 2 full days, we have been on the Chat Support and we have been told that they cannot do anything about it. Where do we go from here?

1.- Valdría la pena que el sistema tenga una opción como un check box con las tarifas de promociones que al momento de activar una, tome esa tarifa promocional; con el objetivo de que dicha tarifa se despliegue en la búsqueda de Google (y no la tarifa base)2.- Cuando se active una promoción, serviría muchísimo que lo envie de forma automática al segmento de usuarios que estan buscando alojamientos. 3.- La Appl Mobile estaria genial!

Un poco caro, pero firme y seguro.
A pesar de que me dan descuento, esta caro el servicio. Aun le faltan mas que ofrecer conforme a otros PMS como el display del calendario y tener aplicacion en el celular.
Vorteile
La conectividad con otros software para la administracion de mi cafeteria, excelente administrador de canales y PMS.
Nachteile
La falta de una aplicacion para mi celular. El tener opciones de mostrar el calendario.

Good product, bad service
Had I known about the lack of personal service, I would not have subscribed to the product.
Vorteile
The product is generating bookings which is the main goal.
Nachteile
Poor customer service. I am trying to open and manage a new hotel. We have encountered several problems with the integration between Cloudbeds and Expedia and Booking.com. This is causing guest cancelations and frustration. However, I can't get any personal help from Cloudbeds. I am simply referred to their training library which does not address my specific problems.

Floja atención al cliente, lenta y solo por email. faltan muchas funciones necesarias.
Muy eficientes a la hora de vender el producto. Después prácticamente imposible contactar con ellos. Todo por email , enviando videos para ver, muy decepcionante. Los informes muy flojos, falta mucho para que funcione a nivel completo.

Tiene buena imagen, es fácil conectarse en remoto, algunas funciones son sencillas, pero pocas.
Nachteile
No hay soporte telefónico, solo por email, en la implementación tienen largas demoras para contestar. No tienen informes financieros adaptados a España. Todo se demora mucho en resolver dudas. No se conectan las OTAS con booking con varias propiedades. Hay que tener una cuenta por cada propiedad. Falta soporte y atención al cliente. Faltan muchas funciones básicas e importantes para un hotel.

Nice product, but it has many floors that can only be solved by technical team!
Ok but could be better.

The software is extremely slow, this has been reported many times, but nothing happens. The payment system is no good for the uk (except for online bookings) and we have resorted to taking most payments manually as a result. I love that you can do lots with the system, but sometimes it’s just information overload and could be simplified a lot.

Eviivo was more suited to the B&B market rather than the hotel market where we had grown to become. Cloudbeds was a cloud based system with great integrations into other software providers, and seemed to fit the bill perfectly, and I could if it solved the little ongoing issues.Zuvor genutzte Software

Servicio al cliente y asistencia muy mala

La simplicidad a usarlo, gérier reservas y el calendario
Nachteile
Hace mas de 1 ano y medio que el hotel fue comprado por un nuevo dueno y teniamos que cambiar el dueno de la cuenta de Cloudbeds tambien. Hace quasi 3 meses que estamos conversando con Cloudbeds para ese cambio, que ya enviemos todos los documentos necesarios y al fin todavia no tenemos response. La asistencia online se cierra si no responde al agente de suporte despues de 30 segundos maximum, asi que tiene que re explicar todo y hacer de nuevo el processo con el proximo agente de suporte. Muy mal
