Support team are top notch professionals
Consistently helpful support team, but I have only needed them 3 times in 2 years! On boarding / set up documents and system were well organized and easy to follow. I love being able to use templates and / or tweak notes on the fly. As a solo practitioner, it is helpful to have access to the template library to save time (borrow others' templates or standardized testing tools) rather than needing to build it all out myself.
Vorteile
When I need help, I have options to use chat, voice call, email, use the bot, or search the guide. Today I choose the chat option so I could continue to work in the background while getting timely assistance. Through the chat, screen shots and a loom video, I was able to correct my issue at my convenience. As happens most of the time, it wasn't a Jane issue, it was a user issue but I was given professional, nonjudgemental support from
[sensitive content hidden]. He was able to ask clarifying questions, look into the various aspects that impacted my scheduling issue and show me how to fix it.
I also appreciate the new Ted Test option to see what clients see/ experience without creating false data in the system.
Nachteile
I sometimes get confused or forget some details about different appointment types and schedule settings; the details need to line up for the whole system to work properly. But this is true for any EMR, and it isn't really a Jane issue, it's a human issue of keeping up with the details.

excellent!
Been very good - reporting and breaks, supervision etc - all help. Charting is also good.
Vorteile
Most things - easy, response and easy on the eyes.
Nachteile
Needs internal and external communication channels so that we don't have to keep checking whatsapp, messages and emails etc and everything is in one place - or you can integrate these systems in to Jane like whatsapp business.
I want a bit more control on billing - every bill is different as we are a small organisation.
Place holders in diary - so that the appointment doesn't get sent away immediately.
Send later option for invoices, appointments and other communications.
Online booking notifications should have a "cc" email to central control as well.

Business Manager
The Jane team was very friendly and were great at the customer service provided. The scheduling platform was amazing and easy to use but the clinical notes did not have all the necessary tool to be compliant with Medicare guidelines. I know several updates and user modifications have been made but we were not able to continue successfully with this EMR.

Jane provides users with a very applicable scheduling platform. It is user friendly and easy to learn.
Nachteile
The billing platforms did not provide my biller with tools that they were accustom to with EMR services. Several tasks were done manually.

Absolutely Love Jane App
I’ve used Jane for just over 3 years. They are constantly updating, adding/testing new features that are voted on by the people who actually use the software. As a single person small clinic, Jane automates as much as possible as well as allowing simple online booking. It takes off the burden of a lot of admin work to allow for seamless operation even with a single provider and no actual support/admin staff

I absolutely love how responsive Jane’s customer service is. If I ever have questions, I can send an email and always got a useful response back from a person.
Nachteile
The front end set up to get chart notes set up was a lot, but there are hundreds of templates that other people have shared to help to process. Even with that though,continuously updating and improving chart templates is really easy.

Really Like JANE!!!
Very positive, and we don't have any motivation or desire to leave or change platforms.
Vorteile
Super helpful, present, and attentive customer services agents via chat, email, and phone. Very willing to update the system with the needs of the providers using it. Affordable rates, too!
Nachteile
Takes a little bit to learn how to use it. Sometimes difficult to create templates with exactly what I want/need, and difficult to customize charts that already exist (i.e. spinal chart for chiropractic). I also wish Jane printed out narrative reports from the check boxes selected in Daily Notes for notes for PI/Attorney's

GAME CHANGER
An absolute delight!! EVERYONE I have talked to has been exceptional. I look forward to an awesome relationship!

The fact that I can talk to a real person on the day that I have a question is a GAME CHANGER!! This is the majority of the reason we are switching to Jane.
Nachteile
Only one thing really. The fact that there is not an appointment counter built into the software. As a PT clinic, it is important to not schedule a patient over the amount they are approved for.

Jane is User Friendly and Great for Scheduling
In my former role as an admin assistant for a salon, I used the Jane app to book appointments, track arrivals, schedule practitioners and other administrative tasks.
Vorteile
I enjoyed the user-friendly platform and ability to schedule both client and practitioner calendars in one easy platform.
Nachteile
I didn't have any strong cons about Jane. Because we used the platform to schedule salon appointments, we didn't often make use of the "charts" feature, but I can see how that would be beneficial for other industries.

Comprehensive with Incredible Support
I've tried a few systems, but Jane is the one app I trust to make sure all my needs are taken care of.
Vorteile
I enjoy the comprehensive nature of the product. That I can maintain my schedule, my client roster, my notes, and financial transactions all in one place makes it very convenient. The customer support is incredible and helped me through some reasonably complex questions. Jane also anticipates my needs, for example sending a comprehensive email about setting up the POS system, the moment I ordered it, so all I had to do was open the box and follow the instructions (that were both written and included visual screen shots. Bravo!)
Nachteile
There is a bit of a learning curve to the product. It isn't as intuitive as some booking programs. And the online video sessions still need a bit of work, but it is improving!

Finally found the perfect EHR system for my solo practice.
Excellent all around. I went through a few competitive EHR systems prior to using Jane and Jane excelled at all the common features and offered many more features that made my solo practice run super smooth. Patients always complimented the interface with the reminders, receipts, scheduling, etc. Never experienced any glitches.

Everything! It's a well thought out software, with an excellent user interface for both practitioner and patients.
Nachteile
Getting set up seemed complicated and the process took some time. Once done however it was time well worth investing since once I was up and running, never had any issues and everything ran smooth.

Great for a large Clinic
A great intuitive program that is constantly improving and has excellent support. Better suited for more public-facing operations, as opposed to smaller practices that need more control over their bookings.
Vorteile
It's beautiful, Canadian, and many businesses use Jane, making it easy for customers to use.
Nachteile
It makes it very difficult to limit your day. I had to remove my online availability completely and book all of my appointments manually due to the lack of control online in this regard.

Jane is the best software i've ever used!
I don't have a bad thing to say about Jane. I've used 3 other software's prior to Jane and they pale in comparison. I set up my own practise 2 years ago and I honestly feel Jane made the whole process so much easier. Thank you Jane - easy 5 stars from me.
Vorteile
The online booking, statements and billing documents, it integrates with stripe and phsyiapp, easy to customize forms etc. You can duplicate notes create phrases which makes writing notes quick and easy. Customer service is fantastic. Above and beyond any other similar service. And when you need to leave they send you PDF of all client notes which makes it a breeze to comply with data safe keeping.
Nachteile
I wish they offered it in the country I am moving to.

Charting limitation.
Positive. Usually did not have to wait very long on the phone. Support is usually very pro active and gets back to you within 24 hours.
Vorteile
Great customer service, willingness to assist and brainstorm a solution.
Nachteile
We are a medical cosmetic clinic. Charting of injectables treatments are crucial. This is lacking on Jane's template library.
Your template choice should keep up with the industry's innovation of treatment so that we can easily choose the template for laser treatments, radio frequency, microneedling, chemical peel, etc.

Happy I switched to Jane
My experience has been excellent. I am glad I switched.
Vorteile
I like that I can log in from anywhere, on all types of devices. I don't have to pay for backup storage because it is cloud based. It is easy to use. They have a ton of help videos and articles online. Patients like the online scheduling.

Some of the reports could be better. I would like to know how many of each CPT code I have done.

A great starter EHR
Jane App was a great experience. I think I would have used this EHR full time if it had a few more integrations like 2-way texting (which is may now have as an add-on option)

Jane is super affordable, and has more features than you would think!
Nachteile
Jane had no way to store and easily view X-ray images. As a chiropractor who does take Xrays on his patients, that was critically important to me.

I highly highly highly recommend
I'm usually pretty critical of companies that I work with and expect a lot out of them. Jane is one of the few companies that I would say that I would highly recommend. I started off with another company in that was a nightmare and then switched to Jane and it was like night and day.
Vorteile
We got the company set up with him a month and the transition was generally seamless. I describe it like what happened with Y2K or everybody was really freaked out at first and then everything went just fine. Their customer support is amazing and all of the people that I have worked with have been very knowledgeable and if they don't understand they look into it and get back to you within a timely manner.
Nachteile
I don't have anything negative to say about the system or the people. There are various functions, bills, and whistles that I wish they had but they seem to be pretty good about listening to feedback and improving their system.

Jane if possible all the way
Jane was helpful through school and now as a health practitioner. It does make you feel like an absolute professional.

Jane is very user-friendly. It is also intuitive. Templates are easy to follow and customize too.

It is a pricey software. Sometimes there are too many bells and whistles that only a large clinic would potentially use.

I have recently returned to Jane after a three-month break and I LOVE it all over again. The team was so helpful in bringing me back; answering all of my questions even when I thought I had asked them all and found more!

Amazing experience with Jane!

My favourite thing about Jane is how honest and transparent the team is. This built trust immediately. Not to mention, they are so reliable and efficient during our import process!

I just wish there were more appointment colours, a way to mark someone as "out" that was not green, and an option to add a second provider as an assistant all in one appointment.

Janeapp has painful bugs, but works fairly well once you learn the hard way about them, and...
Generally good as long as I use Chrome, and know about the pages not refreshing bug and how to work around it.

That it generally works well and looks good, as long as you don't mind being forced to use Chrome when you don't want to, and work around the other minor-ish bug of having to refresh the page, or quit and reload the browser to have the Documents and/or the appointments pages updated.

Also, as above, at times having to either refresh the page or even quit and then restart the browser to have the Documents and Appointments pages updated. I was suggested to put these in "Feature requests" - but it belongs in bug fixes "requests" as it has caused me grief.

Great first start up software system
It was a great experience working with Jane as we started up!

It was a great starting software! We very much enjoyed the ease of use, quick to learn notes, and functionality with the lower starting patient population.

Once we hit a certain limit and we were referring co-treating more patients, we decided we needed the notes to look a little more professional to send out to other providers/practitioners/massage therapist/functional med/acup. that was easier for them to read in an easier manner of us to do.

Easy to implement; lots of great templates and customization options for examination and soap...
Great experience with Jane. Simple to use for our cash practice and I especially like the template library to see examples of what other practitioners are doing for their notetaking.

Amazing product, incredible customer service
The customer service is phenomenal: shout out to [sensitive content hidden] who just helped me with my subscription. I really appreciate all the tools/training aids in the Help section. I am super impressed with the customer service - you guys are often available when I need you and if not by phone then you'll reply fairly promptly by email. I appreciate that you guys are always striving to make a difference - every call and email asks for feedback. I am so happy to have Jane as part of my team to manage my practice. You guys rock and I tell everyone about your great service!

The user interface is easy on the eyes, clean formatting, great color schemes. The system is fairly easy to use with an abundance of text/video aids in the Help section. There's a demo option so you can practice and train on the system without it affecting real patient files/appointments. You guys are always adding new features that benefit practice management - eg, the Claim.MD insurance billing integration and innovate new tools to help practitioners such as the upcoming AI charting in beta. The customer service is phenomenal - I am so happy that I joined back in 2017-2018. Things continue to improve with this company.

Great customer service
Nothing is perfect, but the overall experience is great due to customer service.

The customer service. They are all so knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. Especially [sensitive content hidden]!
Nachteile
1) When I click on "Great" to the question "How would you rate my reply?" nothing happens, that button doesn't work.
2) I just lost a staff member (and all her clients attached to her) because she was not able to create her own treatments and classes without full access. This would be great for staff to have full control for treatments and classes for their clients. If I change her status from practitioner limited it compromises the confidentiality of other client files that do not belong to them.

Fantastic Software for Practitoners!
Jane is the most user friendly software I have ever encountered. It is easeful, supportive and so highly integrated to what individual practitioners and clinics need. The team at Jane is always working above and beyond to make changes and work with those who use their software to improve, fix and grow the software in ways that actually work.

Jane software is easy to use, fully integrated with Google search for any questions I have and of course, the staff at Jane are incredibly helpful and quick to respond and offer support. They take ideas and suggestions of their customers and make changes that best support the people using their software.

The only area of Jane I think could be done differently or improved upon is the ability to edit or remove insurers, as insurance companies change names and close out and it would be nice to change those names and delete the toggle for inactive insurance companies.

The most used app in my practice.
Jane is a great service and provides exceptional customer service.

Great support and experience
Great, I'm slowly learning. As my practice evolve I'll be able to speak more about my experience.

The support is amazing! All Jane representative I have spoke with we knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and so useful! The platform looks professional and overall user friendly.
Nachteile
The French features. My practice is bilingual so I find it a little harder to navigate between the 2 languages.For example: I have chose my platform in English but I'd like to share etc "how to book an appointment" video to my English and French clientèle but didn't seem to be able to find the French version of it.
I also teach yoga and workshops so I sell packages. At this time people who purchase packages can't sign up for more than 1 session. It simply adds up to the work "behind the scene". Just a constructive comments.

How does Jane support our Business?
Moved from a previous Patient Management and the difference is night and day. The Support Team in particular are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and I love that they sometimes send videos of what actions you need to take when dealing with an issue

I wanted to like this EHR more than I actually did.
I spent over a month setting up my account only to abandon it after having problems with creating a test client that linked to my account. I was locked out of my account. It created a lot of problems that customer service wasn't able to fix. Customer service was kind and responsive and I believe they would have helped if they could. They refunded my payment, which I think says something good about the company.

I liked the streamlined intake process for clients. I liked viewing the paperwork that other users submitted.

It was very time consuming to set up my practice in comparison to other EHRs. The site felt more complicated and less intuitive than other programs I have used.

Jane - the convenience of online booking
Jane makes it possible for me to book my appointments without having to communicate back and forth with a receptionist about what they have available and what time I am available for and find out when matches up. It was stress free being able to book appointments in the comfort of my own home and view what works best for me without having to inconvenience others.

Jane makes it extremely convenient for me to book and manage all my appointments online.
Nachteile
Unless you are provided with a direct link or QR code, it is tricky to find the provider you are looking for. The search engine isn't the most user friendly.

That said, we’re bummed to hear you wouldn’t likely recommend Jane, and we really appreciate you being upfront about why. You’re totally right—manually recording payments can be a pain, which is actually what led us to create Jane Payments. The goal was to take that headache away by offering an integrated payment system to make life easier for both staff and clients.
We know flexibility is important, and we want to make sure clinics can choose the payment options that works best for them. If you’re open to sharing a bit more about the challenges you had with payment tracking specifically we’d love to hear.

Jane…easy but needs a bit of fine tunong
Overall, this is a good program to use and is easy for new staff to learn.

Easy to use and learn. Have been using it and enjoy the functionality.

Ability for clients to book appointments on-line is great. But, sometimes, they will book an appointment with multiple providers and then attend only 1 of the appointments. There needs to be a pop-up or something that won’t allow someone to book the same appointment with 2 or 3 providers as this is not fair to take up multiple time slots when other clients are trying to book in as well. I realize this is an issue with only a small percent of clients, but it is an issue that has happened a few times. Would be great if there was some way to alert the client they can only book 1 appointment at a time…or ag least caution them that they are booking the same appointment with multiple providers and this is not recommended.

Ease of practice
Excellent! I recommend to other colleagues frequently. Jane makes running a clinic easier, customer service is top notch. They always have the answers and are so kind holding your hand if need be through any processes or inquiries.
Vorteile
The easy switch! Jane helped me every step with moving all my data over and starting with Jane at a new space. Also how compliant they are with our provincial regulations for heslthcare providers.
Nachteile
Sometimes i feel overwhelmed with features! It seems that Jane has so many features, I in fact dont take the time to learn how to fully make use of the program because I feel overwhelmed with all the options.

Jane App Review
The Jane experience has been fantastic. Great service combined with a flexible platform and low price checks most of needs.
Vorteile
Jane has the best customer service I have ever experienced. The phone wait is usually less than 3 minutes. The agents are knowledgeable and they will spend as much time as necessary to solve your issues. While not perfect, Jane is very flexible and can accommodate most user requirements.
Nachteile
The memberships expire after a maximum of 52 billing periods and memberships can only include 1 type of service. If you want to sell clients multiple services to a client, you must sign them up for multiple memberships.
