Collaboration whiteboards are quite handy & easy to use.
It's a better app when we have to collaborate with people outside our organization. Just an Amazon account is sufficient for the same and there's no feature loss.

Nachteile

-Live captioning is not yet supported.
-User interface is not as rich as Microsoft Teams. They have clubbed chats and meetings in a single app but the current features of both are missing in the mobile app.

While talking about Amazon Chime i always think that its a perfect application or software to have a sweet conversation and makes a melodious voice of your tone like quite natural or we can say that its features are amazing and some more things i want to say about it which i like at my experience is that me and my friends are staying in a very distance place so we are always bussy for our works but everyday when we get up of sleep we had a conversation on amazon chime we had a cup of coffee and it make our day whole day bright and when ever we are missing them in some occasion we just make a video chat to them and this application is so good in it self that we not even get bored to talk and we get 30 days free trial of pro version

Amazon chime is a useful app for me but also there is some faults which i think company may launch an update for it like i can share screen to 1:1 so i think it should be little increased in the next update

It was inexpensive, that's why we chose it. It has the basic meeting capabilities. Links to host/join a meeting, screenshare, audio dial in, chat, etc.

Nachteile

Signing new users up (even IT users) is extremely confusing and overly difficult. It generally required creating a new AWS account, even those users who have an existing AWS account for AWS Cloud at work. The in meeting functions are not as easy to use as Zoom. It periodically upgrades the software and logs you out, requiring you to remember your login credentials. Given the wonky sign up, this often results in resetting passwords for users who aren't apt to keep track of account passwords. Slow UI at times, as well.

I use this app daily . The best thing in this software is we can share the content very easily.
Some of the pros are :
1. Easy file sharing
2. Quick group creating
3. Screen-sharing is easier for individual or a group call
4. We can link the Chime addons to outlook directly and plan the calls.

Though Chime is a good app I found some difficulties while using. Some of them are :

1.Limited video visibility- during video call on desktop only 16 people can turn the video on and when it is on mobile only 8 can access
2. High data consumption.
3. Call organizer don't have complete control on chime calls, any user can mute the other user or can take over the screen sharing.
4. Late notifications on mobile or sometime the will never.

The features are fast, secure and useful. It is free, I don't know if it has paid plans but even the free version works fine for almost all needs.

I found Chime to be fairly easy to use and held its own against the other virtual meeting tools that are available. To me, there was nothing that set Chime apart from any of the others. The meeting quality, both audio and video, was very good. All of the basic functionality was there too.

Not a whole lot to complain about and the one thing that stuck out to me might just be a lack of familiarity. I was not able to find a way to set a default profile for audio/video controls that would allow a user to join muted or with video off by default. It seemed that you had to join with everything on, and then make adjustments.

User friendly app with clear UI. Many interesting features like desktop sharing, high quality videos or online events. Mobile version should be definitely improved especially if go about cellular connection. Sound quality is absolutely amazing while I'm using it on WiFi connection. To join the meeting subscription is not required.

As previously mentioned mobile app should be improved in the way of cellular connectivity. Only basic features are available in web version.

Mi piaceva la facilità d'uso e la velocità nel caricamento dei file da condividere in chat, anche durante le chiamate (sia con, sia senza video). Era intuitivo e di facile utilizzo e lo si poteva usare sia internamente ad Amazon che con aziende esterne. Dovendo lavorare con Amazon anche da esterna, negli ultimi due anni ho continuato ad usarlo senza problemi.

Gli ultimi aggiornamenti hanno peggiorato la qualità del servizio e proprio oggi l'ho disinstallato. Dopo l'ultimo aggiornamento mi ha chiesto di fare di nuovo login per accedere. Ho inserito la mia e-mail aziendale ma mi si è aperta una seconda pagina che mi chiedeva di usare un secondo metodo di autenticazione legato al mio account Amazon (che uso da sempre con la mia mail personale). Quando mi ha permesso l'accesso mi sono accorta che anziché usare la mail aziendale ha usato la mail personale legata all'account. Trovo molto scomodo il fatto che non permetta semplicemente di creare un account con e-mail e password dedicate, senza dover per forza unire lavoro e account personale per gli acquisti.

E' un sistema di chat molto base, ma che fa il suo lavoro in maniera decente. La versione mobile è molto valida, e il sistema tollfree (possibilità di connettersi tramite numero alle call) è senza dubbio un valore aggiunto per qualsiasi situazione in cui vi siano problemi tecnici.

Nachteile

"Alleggerire" il sistema (soprattutto per le funzionalità che ha) sarebbe una ottima cosa, anche perché spessissimo il software si 'pianta' soprattutto quando si entra in call. Allo stesso modo, assorbe un sacco di connessione!Sarebbe ottimo avere anche una funzionalità "collaborativa" di screensharing dando la possibilità agli utenti di poter intervenire o marcare lo schermo ad esempio. Più integrazione con altri prodotti AWS (es. S3 sarebbe ottima).Gli status purtroppo si "piantano" molto spesso. Si appare offline quando non lo si è.

Ho utilizzato chime per piu di 5 anni dal momento della nascita e posso dire che il prodotto è migliorato ed è in continuo miglioramento. Le chat sono buone e le vidoconferenze stabili. In piu il software si implementa perfettamente con outlook. Assolutamente da avere in ambito aziendale, un pó meno in ambito privato.

Non permette di cancellare le chat che rimangono salvate per tempo indeterminato nei server aws. Per la privacy se c'è bisogno di eliminare una conversazione è allo stato attuale impossibile prima dei canonici 3 mesi.

Amazon Chime is perfect when you have users outside the enterprise to link to the device and not need majority of the program to be downloaded. This is a good touch so even individuals inside the company can have this option if they're using a device outside their usual computer.

The Amazon Chime isn't really user-friendly. Groups we have conferences with who've never accessed Amazon Chime frequently have trouble connecting to call, particularly when the call is foreign. You've to install Amazon Chime to display your computer screen. Often the program may be slow to respond, and updates end up taking some minutes to synchronize across devices.

I did just like the sidebar panel that displayed all the users gift in the call. The display and characteristic turned into beneficial. That is set the handiest aspect that I liked higher about Chime than different comparable gear.

Also it felt like each time it routinely had people be a part of with their microphone on but without pre-warning customers of that so humans much more likely to purpose interruptions.

For the primary element even though, it really works like some other video conferencing platform but small things make it my least preferred.

What troubles are you fixing with the product? What advantages have you ever realized?

It become beneficial for while we had conferences with Amazon information and Redshift teams as virtually that is the inner device of choice for Amazon. Other than for those meetings with Amazon teams, there was little need case for us for Chime above & past Zoom or Meet.
