Demio is an ultimate webinar tool for the marketing team in an organization. The Demio user interface is simple, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing. Users don’t have to worry about the hassle of hosting a webinar with Demio. Some of the cool features on Demio include joining a webinar using web browser be on computer or mobile (mobile app download is not required), simple user interface, HD real-time streaming with no delay, clear voice and video, Meeting recording, live chat support option with the Demio team, and 24/7 customer care support. Other features I like are actionable insights, automatic replays after the meeting, interactive room and Flexible Registration options for attendees.

Nachteile

HD feature works well with good internet bandwidth. It is a paid app with different subscription plans depending on the features but you can go for a demo version for 14 days to check the usefulness of the product.

Demio is intuitive and we love how easy it is to create, manage, and run live AND automated webinars. The viewing experience, down to the colors of the room and the custom domain, all point back to our brand. Featured actions work well and really help to engage our audience. It's incredibly simple to create beautiful, simple registration pages with minimal effort and the waiting room makes for a great attendee experience. We also love that you can pre-load materials into the room for less stress day-of!It's obvious that the Banzai product, sales, success, and support teams are all invested in developing a great end-to-end experience for customers and they're extremely receptive to feedback...I _especially_ appreciate their public roadmap.

Nachteile

The biggest friction points for my team are as follows (and to Demio's credit, their team continues to invest heavily in correcting these issues, some of which are already better since the summer): 1. Performance & quality: This sometimes result in laggy, lower resolution streams (replays, especially)2. Overconsumption of RAM: To compensate, we use Firefox rather than Chrome (the latter being our preferred browser) to run live events3. Somewhat difficult to manage Q&A: We'd love to see the option to "claim" a question when there are multiple moderators attempting to answer chat or Q&A with written responses. This would ensure that we avoid duplicating effort. As far as I'm aware, this isn't a feature available on any platforms at the moment, but would really make a huge difference when it comes to managing large events with a high volume of chats.

Demio is very feature rich and has excellent customer service. Hands down, the best feature is the ability to pre upload your media and be able to share it seperate from a screen share. Your presenters do not need to worry about who's driving slides, or who is sharing what on their screen. This is why we chose Demio over Vimeo and Zoom's webinar platforms.Another huge differentiator of Demio is the video / presentation quality. The pre uploaded media is sharp because you're not relying on a screen share, but every one of our presenters also commented on how high quality their webcam video was. If you're coming from the world of Zoom it will really be a night and day difference. It is also very easy to use because it is web based. It was easy to show our presenters how to use the platform and how to take advantage of the many features.Similarly, the ability to send handouts and featured actions is excellent. The reporting on Demio is great, but similar to what you might get on Zoom.

Nachteile

One of the the things we ran into fairly regularly were limitations of features. For example, demio has great emails but no ability to change the number of emails and few ways to edit the actual email. Hubspot integrations are also lacking in that you lose the source once you integrate it. There are also small bugs from time to time - ie speakers randomly lost audio, and you have to use your arrow keys to change the camera or audio input sometimes. There were other bugs that have since been resolved but it did require us to do a lot of work to get around.

The best part about the service is their customer service team as they are always there with 100% helpful responses. I tested many other services because I wanted my first webinar to be perfect and I realized that Demio had the best turn-around time -often a few minutes!

Nachteile

I think I was nervous about how I had to conduct practice runs by duplicating the main event itself. Hopefully, the team develops a way you can test your main event because it is a hassle correcting stuff from the duplicate event to the main event when you're testing stuff. I think improving this feature will make it more effective for the host to test and make sure everything is perfect.

Demio was the new kid on the block when we made the switch and we wanted to support the vision for a platform specific to marketers. Demio have delivered on that better than most. At that time WebinarJam had serious Google integration problems so it felt safer to go with a solution that did not rely on external streaming.

Nachteile

On-demand functionality and email scheduling/customising. Video quality on recordings remains highly questionable; regardless of strength of connection (we are on a Gigabit connection and quality is still poor).

Demio is easy to use, is refined actively by the product team, has very helpful/knowledgeable support staff, and removes a lot of the manual work associated with webinars.

Nachteile

Some fairly simple things, such as searching for form fields when syncing with Hubspot can only be done through scrolling (you can't search up field names), which can be a hold-up in this process.

Many key features are missing. There is some issue with the code. Two main problems were that the presentation's complete formatting used to get corrupted after loading it on Demio. Never happened with Zoom. Plus screenshare was not at all upto the level of what is offered in Zoom.

I found that the software was VERY intuitive, but the main reason why I chose Demio is because the webinar viewer does not have to download software. I was also impressed with its integration into Convertkit.

Nachteile

On one of our three webinars, the signal kept dropping for viewers, and I believe this had to do with our wifi strength rather than the software. Not sure.

Demio has been great. Love that you can easily create a landing page that looks great; send out automated reminders with a customised message; link with Mailchimp (should the person signing up approve that, which is probably 50/50); it's lovely that our socially anxious community cannot accidentally turn on their camera, as has happened via Zoom. Replays can be automatically sent out. A great feature is the ability to share handouts for download within the webinar chatbox. Love that Demio are regularly updating their product and sharing their roadmap.

Nachteile

On some video playbacks, the sound seems to have been glitchy. Some people have found it hard to access or hear at times, though I believe this seems to have resolved. Presenters cannot access via a mobile phone. It's more suited to using from a laptop. Would be nice to have the option to have everyone on screen - as we have had to go back to using Zoom for some calls because of this.

I have used two other online webinar platforms before using Demio. The 1st one had such a limited functionality that it did not work for my business. The second one had 2 major crashes when I had over 150 people in my online class on 2 separate occasions. Demio is very reliable. All of the participants in my online classes report how easy it is to use. The data tools included are extremely helpful to my business. I am very fortunate to have this platform to help grow my business.

We love how user-friendly it is. Anyone can easily figure out how to use and customize the webinar rooms.

They also offer better features (customize registration page and add logo or background, customize automatic emails, can send replay links, PowerPoints/handouts, call to action links, polls, public and private chat boxes, etc).

We have rarely had any issues, and if issues do come up it’s usually something we can troubleshoot on our own.

Nachteile

If we had to pick something that is our least favorite, it might be that the platform is not supported on Internet Explorer. We make sure to let our customers know which browses are supported and send them a video on how to use Demio before it begins.

The video quality is one of the most outstanding things about Demio, it has a video quality and fluidity that really impressed me, despite the fact that it works from the browser since this platform is only available in a web version, its behavior in this web version is quite shocking and beneficial. Demio has excellent ways to get in touch and constantly communicate with the participants, you can carry out various surveys, voting with expiration time and you can also send questions to the participants and view the answers in real-time, in addition, live chat allows attach files, send emojis, attach images and have a fluid conversation thanks to real-time chat. In addition, Demio allows the integration of roles and multiple hosts, this will be really useful if any user needs help in managing a Webinar. Demio has everything that any user is looking for to have a stable connectivity in a Webinar.

Nachteile

Demio does not have wide availability or device compatibility. Its web version works perfectly, but it would be great to be able to use downloadable Demio app, this would help so that you don't have to use the browser to start a Webinar or schedule it for a certain date, it would be great to be able to use Demio from my MacOS computer without make use of the Safari browser. Another of the problems that can be found in Demio is that currently it is not possible to share a specific window on your computer with the participants; if you want to show something specific on your computer, you will have to start screen sharing and all participants will be able to see everything on your computer, that can be a bit awkward.

Demio is an incredible platform to be able to customize all kinds of webinars and achieve that you can have a high participation of many people within each webinar. I really love that this platform allows me to follow up on each of the clients that have been invited to each webinar, this platform offers me an automated follow-up with which it is able to automatically send reminders to each client so that they remember that they must attend a previously scheduled webinar. I loved the performance measurement system of each webinar, this system allows view the performance of my webinar in real time, I can see how many participants have attended and how many participants have not yet accessed the webinar, in addition, I can also see in real time the quality and audio transmission of each webinar, to know exactly if it's working correctly. Demio offers immediate compatibility with any type of mobile device, which allows this platform to be used within iOS devices or Android devices, by simply downloading an app, all the organizers or participants will be able to access immediately from the mobile device. I also loved the great video quality that I was able to enjoy using this platform, the audio transmission also worked perfectly, which allowed all the organizers to communicate with the participants in real time, without delays in the audio transmission or in streaming video.

I haven't had any kind of problem with Demio, this platform has behaved excellently, I'm really satisfied with the webinar creation system, as well as I liked the webinar scheduling system, as it allows me to follow up to the invitations that I have sent to each of the clients or future participants. In addition, this platform has also provided security measures for each of the organizers, this platform offers a variety of security options to guarantee the privacy of the attendees, so that no data has been leaked or manipulated. I'm happy with absolutely everything within that platform, the webinar creation functions worked perfectly.

Demio makes it simple to create and run a digital event. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The backend is self-explanatory and easy to set up. The actual webinar rooms have great options, are easy to figure out and use, and well-designed for a positive digital event experience. From presenting slides, adding polls, adding handouts, playing videos, looking at analytics, sending automated emails, answering questions, getting a recording of the event, and promoting/sharing the registrations links — Demio makes all of this easy and just a few clicks away.

Nachteile

The video and audio quality aren't always the best. Presentation slides appear blurry, video feed can go in and out, and the audio isn't always clear. Some features seem incomplete, or could benefit from having just a bit more flexibility and personalization, but A/V improvements would make a world of difference.

Vorteile

Demio is very easy to use and the interface is very engaging for attendees. The value is in the details like being able to make a comment a question and display it when answering- something that zoom webinars lacks.

In addition, the reporting is very in depth and extremely easy to use. Makes my life easier when trying to prove the success of a webinar!

We've ran into a few challenges implementing the tool for some of our outside teams in Australia and Europe but Demio's support is top notch and I'm confident we can find a solution.

I tried a lot of different webinar platforms and Demio by far, was the most up to date of them all. Its platform is incredibly easy to use and very pleasing to look at too. A lot of other webinar platforms are very dated.

A major plus for me (because I wanted to set up automated and evergreen webinars) was that Demio allows you to upload your video files directly to it. Other platforms I found force you to do a live recording and use that as your evergreen webinar. Either that or link an existing YouTube or Vimeo video which looks unprofessional and jarring in a webinar environment.

Nachteile

There are a few things I feel are missing from Demio. One is being able to send a replay link to people who attended on-demand or evergreen webinars so they can watch again if they missed it. Another is having the times listed when users register be visible in their local timezone. You can only set a timezone right now. So if you're in a different timezone to the person registering, they would need to work out the actual time of the webinar based on the time-zone displayed.

Having said this, Demio have brilliant support and when I flagged this with them, they added it to their suggested improvements area. You can then 'vote' for changes you'd like to see. So I have no doubt these changes will happen in the future.

It is very reliable, high quality and easy to use. You can upload all the event materials handouts before the webinar. And delegates can download them. The chat box is useful for attendee interaction too.The after event report is useful.

When we first told our delegates and speakers we were using Demio, they were kind of suspicious of the tool was good or reliable enough, and they thought we were trying to save money (in a way it was at first). The ability to get off the ground running quickly with Demio is part of what makes this one of the better webinar software on the market. Without much setup time at all, admins can have a professional-looking webinar setup and ready to accept registrations. I also use the Mailchimp integration, and while I think it could be better optimized, it is still useful for automatically adding registrants to your mailing lists.

Nachteile

Having to pay for the ability to add more than 1 host greatly prohibits smaller marketing teams without a large budget. The ability to switch between brands for 1 price would be preferred.

The first thing I love about this platform is that you can schedule or automate webinars, you can create webinar rooms to start automatically at a specific time or on a specific area, plus you can also schedule webinars for specific dates and send invite links to specific clients. Also, I love being able to fully customize the entire interface of the webinars, this platform allows me to modify the interface that the participants of my webinars will see, it allows me to add headers to my webinar or different extensions to make a more complete webinar. I also love that it allows me to interact in a very diverse way with the participants, this platform allows me to create surveys, questions and answers and also allows me to enjoy a real-time chat which helps to improve the interaction between all the organizers and the participants of each webinar.

Nachteile

One of the main negative points of this platform is that there can be various problems between latency and video or audio quality problems if the user does not have a fast enough internet connection, because this platform needs a connection to the internet is powerful enough to function correctly and provide good fluidity during each webinar. The last negative point of Demio is the high costs, despite the fact that it is a platform that works perfectly and offers stability in each webinar transmission, the software is quite expensive and I consider that these prices can be improved a little, especially for the new users.

I love that Demio allows me to manage various roles for Webinar administrators, I can assign specific roles to more members of my company and modify the permissions of each role so that they can broadly manage webinars. I love Demio's web functionality, you don't need to download any app on your computer to use this platform, also, this web version allows quick access to the platform, just log in and you'll be able to create any webinar. I love the excellent integration that Demio has with many Marketing platforms as well as its integration with many messaging platforms, this is key to being able to send invitations to webinars much more easiliy or through an advertising campaign via email.

Nachteile

I would like to have more stability in the Webinars when I have a slow internet connection, sometimes I have had problems to continue with the Webinar because my internet connection gets slow sometimes, this causes me to have to reload the Demio to being able to access my Webinar again, and sometimes the Webinar is completely canceled due to lack of connection, I don't like this, the Webinar should continue I can connect again.

The ability to have simulated-live webinars is critical when schedules are too booked to host multiple live sessions. On-demand also is easy; the users get to choose which instance they want to use.

Breakout rooms are critical for larger events; we'd still have to use Zoom for this.

I have been a Demio user for years and I am not sure what took me so long to make the switch from another platform that kept giving me issues. Demio is super user friends, clean, modern, and full of features that I never even considered needing or using for my webinars, live events, and coaching calls. It takes all the fuss out of trying to set things up by allowing you to duplicate events, schedule series, and use on demand as well. I am extremely satisfied with their newer features like 6 LIVE guests capability. I am so grateful for their flexibility in pricing and overall features. Thank you!

Nachteile

At first I was a bit disappointed that only 2, then 4 people could share the camera because I host LIVE events and needed more flexibility. Now with 6 camera usage, his will be very seamless and professional for me and my summit attendees. I cannot wait to use this feature at the next event.

You can trigger your own automations when people register to your event, when they attend it or even when they miss it. You can tag them and send them specific emails. Then you record your event (demio does it for you) and use it as a permanent saved webinar.

You can't help but compare it to zoom. In zoom, everybody can turn their cameras on and you get a feeling as if you where everybody together... Here, you can have 3 or 4 people max with their cams on.

Demio is fatally flawed. Imagine you are hosting an event ... wonderful speakers, 200 attendees hanging on their every word. Then *your* broadband connection goes down. Or you have to leave *your* laptop and it hibernates. Or it crashes. You now have 10 minutes to get back online, otherwise your event is (genuinely - confirmed in multiple emails) instantly terminated and your guests are kicked out ignominiously. You will not be able to get back into the session to even tell them what has happened.

Why would a piece of software be written to do this ? After more than 30 years in software development I cannot even imagine ...

So instead you get to sit anxiously in front of your laptop praying that nothing goes wrong for more than ten minutes, shuffling the mouse to make sure it stays awake, wondering if you're going to make it to the end of the day.

That's why we're leaving demio ... nobody in their organisation seems to think this is an issue and nobody in our organisation wants the stress of hosting events on demio any more.

Demio is a platform for developing webinars that provides a user experience like no other which you can see first hand once you observe the dynamic and organized interface with which the software has which is focused on electronic marketing, has the right tools to make your webinars a success such as live chat, event management, multi hosts, screen sharing, surveys and more things that will allow the development of your seminars is fluid, apart from this Demio is not an expensive software in relation to its other competitors

It has few options to customize the software and usually users like to adjust the program according to their needs, it still lacks integrations with third parties especially since it is a software intended for marketing, the mobile app for android does not perform well, the free trial is not very complete since many of the features are not available

The software was simple to set up and offers a fully browser-based solution. We enjoyed the platform for a few short months which had great features for engagement.

Unfortunately poor customer service has left us a very bad taste in the mouth, and shows Demio as a platform that does not care about its users or retention.

Nachteile

- Technical glitches during the broadcast - every time a presenter muted it would switch sound/speaker settings for the other presenter and some of the audience... which meant they could no longer hear the presentation.

- The biggest con is the customer service. After a decision to temporarily pause our account due to trialing out an alternative software (though with the intention to return to Demio), we asked if it was possible to pause our account and keep everything active so that we could return.

The customer service agent advised it was not possible unfortunately and to cancel the account instead. The account was canceled immediately, but it was already 1 day after the bill for that month had come out.

Despite this, the billings team let us know kindly that "All sales are final" with a redirect to illegal sales terms and conditions claiming that consumers are NOT entitled to a 14 day cooling down.

It is a real shame and pure unethical to see platforms that do not have a care about retaining their customer relationships or loyalty, and instead treat them as just another sale (even if the goods/service were not actually delivered).

Over the years, I have probably held close to 300 webinars, and with that I have tried a bunch of different software solutions. Demio is by far the best of them all, and this is both what I use now and what I recommend to my customers. The pros are that it's quite simple to figure out how to set up, the user interface and the webinar experience is clean and simple, and the best part is that it's reliable. Demio integrates nicely with all the software that I need - and Zapier is always a solution, for the few software solutions that don't. I would, for my clients, love to see a future direct integration with MailerLite.

Lots. The service is totally based on your Internet speed. I have fiber optic Internet speed, which is about as fast as it gets. And every time I have an issue, the company still tells me that it's due to my Internet connection. This is all they ever tell you as an excuse. It's never their platform, it's always your Internet. Also there's just not a lot of features that the other big webinar services have. All in all, it's just not worth it.

I used Demio on the recommendation of a client who had a great experience. My experience reflected theirs and I'm very pleased with the service. I've used a half-dozen services comparable to Demio over the last 4 yrs and can say Demio wins categorically in functionality, User experience, design, interface, pre and post webinar tools, ease of setup, analytics, integrations. It has it all.

Nachteile

The price is up there with the "big boys" and Demio punches above their weight class but I ultimately didn't want to spend >$200 for 500 users when It's something I use once-a-month on average.

We used this as a presentation platform to run LIVE events. Being able to have multiple "Presenters" and being able to produce shows, and content in REAL TIME was fantastic! It was very easy to use. I enjoyed the Preparing the Room function in advance where you could upload your content: slides, videos, handouts; all at once before even starting. It took a lot of the stress off. There is also the option to add those things during the session too for last minute changes. The Customer Support Team was very helpful and responsive! We would have 50-200 people in our events. The registration process and being able to customize your registration page for events added a personal touch to every event we did. The Demio team has created a road map of their upcoming features and they are super transparent and listen to suggestions and comments as well. This software is amazing and will only get better!

There were a few instances where videos would restart, however it was all fixed with updates.

This tool doesnt have several features. Like in some computers it shows up that you can share specific window screens. But in some computers again it doesnt let you do that. You only got to share the entire screen. Thats so painful in a webinar.

You cant turn off the chat.

They dont have an app for windows like Zoom. Zoom is way handy.

Most importantly, it consumes hell lotta internet bandwidth. Note, I am not talking about the internet storage, I am talking about bandwidth. Where Zoom is way better and a way light weight tool.

Like, while testing the connectivity, it will show you the connectivity is excellent. But while being in real time it will show up it is poor. That is painful.

Also you cannot pause your screen like you do in ZOOM. you got to disconnect it completely. Again painful. I continuously connect and disconnect, do you think that is something a trainer or host would prefer.

Like ZOOM would even load when the network is slightly slower. But demio doesnt give a damn, the webpage will not load itself, it would keep loading forever. Although it is ok in most of the cases, but ZOOM is way better in this coding aspect as well.

Overall I feel they are yet to come up with a better compatibility with network, computers and more.

Vorteile

Demio has a simple and clean user interface that was fast to set-up and very easy to use.

Nachteile

Lack of integrations is the only CON that I have. I really wish there was a pay wall option either PayPal or Stripe. Having to use Zapier is not convenient or ideal.

Vorteile

Demio's interface is super user friendly - it's not necessary to watch any training videos/tutorials to understand how to use the software. It's very logical and easy to just log in and start using. Also, their customer service is so good! They always welcome feedback and actually implement requested changes fairly regularly to improve their software and make sure that they're providing the product that their customers want.

Nachteile

I think the 'Growth' plan (which includes automated events) is quite expensive compared to similar programs (others I've worked with are WebinarJam & Zoom) Demio's definitely better to use but I think cost is it's biggest downside.
