Great Tool!

Doc360 Is a User-Friendly and Intuitive KB Platform
Doc360's platform allows us to easily centralize our documentation that is searchable.
Vorteile
The team and I searched for the right knowledge base platform solution for many weeks. After we tested Document360 and met with their support team, we knew we had found the one for us--one where you do not have to be a developer to use the product. Some things I love about Document360:
- Comprehensive analytic reports from the number of article views to article ratings and user feedback.
- Easy to create, edit, and publish articles.
- Intuitive UI.
- Flexible and customizable landing page. Doc360 is also equipped with many templates so you don't have to start from scratch.
- Glossary makes it easy for readers to understand new concepts. This eliminates the need to reintroduce a concept across multiple articles.
- I've received feedback from readers that searching for articles and finding information is easy.
- Easy to tag articles for better visibility.
Nachteile
- I've come across nuance cases like the numbers resetting between screenshots; however, I've found quick fixes such as going into the code to manually fix the numbers or just using Shift+Enter to continue the numbering. These quick fixes have become second nature, and I'm grateful that there are solutions.
- When I leave an article, sometimes I'll come back and the spacing is different. (I.e. extra spaces between paragraphs, removed spaces between words.) I'd like to note that this bug is inconsistent.
- Whenever I run into a bug, I email the support team and receive an immediate response (within an hour). Most of the time, the solution is in that response. If the answer isn't that simple, the support team is quick to schedule a meeting to resolve it.

Amazing knowledge base and Customer SUpport
Amazing. There hasnt bee a day I regretted to moving to Doc360. I no longer worry about the site being up nor do I need to spend time dealing with publication issues. My next step is to start using new features they are continually adding.
Vorteile
Doc360 is easy to use and reliable. The product has a lot of features, some of which we're just now starting to use. It is a comprehensive solution for an online knowledgebase.The support team is amazing. Before we signed, they conducted a full POC and helped our team integrate Salesforce even though it was our problem. After we signed, we have quarterly meetings with our Acct Mgr and every ticket I have opened gets a full response within hours until its closed.
Nachteile
The Comments feature for SMEs isnt so good.

Excellent Software, Great Value for Money, Superb Service
Document360 is a wonderful product that answers a need in the market. I used it at a previous job and brought it into this one. I would recommend it for most use-cases, especially for those who want a fully SaaS, no-install, fun authoring experience for serious writing teams.
Vorteile
Document360 is an excellent KB that includes a large number of features for a very reasonable price. New and updated features are rolled out all the time. We use it in our documentation team and everyone found it easy to learn and easy to use. You can author in Markdown or WYSIWYG - both of which are intuitive. There are a tonne of settings that you can configure to make your KB your own, or just roll with the defaults. The support team is extremely responsive and very knowledgeable. They are polite and easy to work with. It's actually a pleasure to interact with Document360 support because they're always willing to help and go the extra mile to solve your issues.
Nachteile
There's currently no support for Swagger/Open API files. This is in development and will be great when it rolls out. Also, there's no native support for Auth0.

Business Saving Product
Doc360 has been a pivotal product to our business success. The layout, functionality, and features, provides unparalleled efficiency in workflow and training for us. It has made sharing documents, manuals, and content easy and accessible.
Vorteile
The best thing about this software is how easy it is to use and deploy. From a user and administrator perspective. The easiest way to describe it is that it just works and it works the way you want it to. Everything is so obvious and functional.
Nachteile
Doc360 could use a native mobile app to help with the deployment of time-sensitive and impactful information that could help speed up the deployment of business-critical information.

Good value and great for getting content published fast.
The product represents good value and meets my needs well in terms of creating and publishing online documentation. Customer support is very responsive and effective in resolving issues.
Vorteile
It is quick and easy to get content published. Pages can be previewed without waiting for a lengthy build process to complete. Styling can be customised. The fine level of control over reader access is a big plus.
Nachteile
The editing and collaboration experience could be improved somewhat. In particular, it is not possible to reply to or resolve individual comments.

This solution was exactly what we needed to publish documentation to various reader groups
Overall experience has been very good. As described above, the interaction with the Support and Development teams has been outstanding.
Vorteile
Document360 is quite straight forward and quickly to grasp on one hand, while feature rich on the other. What I like most though is the deep level of interaction we've had as a customer with the Support and Development teams at Document360. We had specific requirements about publishing to specific user groups, which are now part of the standard product. Document360 has really enabled us to lift customer facing documentation off the ground quickly.
Nachteile
I find using the Markdown editor somewhat difficult sometimes and it doesn't allow for automated spell check in that mode. Very glad that a WYSIWYG editor has been implemented recently, which allows the browser spell checker to do its job. Adding this WYSIWYG editor is another proof point that Document360 is not only what it is today, but they're continuously enhancing and extending their product.

Very good KB portal
Vorteile
As a content creator for my company's knowledgebase portal, I have to say that D360 has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, which makes it easy to create and publish articles in a timely manner. The editor is robust and offers a wide range of formatting options, which allows me to create visually appealing and engaging content. The portal also provides me with insights into how my articles are performing, which allows me to optimize my content for maximum engagement. Additionally, the support team is always responsive and helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance. Overall, I highly recommend this knowledgebase portal for anyone who wants to create high-quality content quickly and easily.
Nachteile
I've been using the D360 portal for quite some time now, and I have to say that I have had a mostly positive experience. Occasionally, I notice some slight performance issues when creating articles, but these are quickly resolved with updates and fixes. I appreciate how responsive the development team is to any issues that arise and their commitment to continually improving the platform. Overall, I feel that any minor issues are quickly addressed, and the knowledgebase portal remains an excellent tool for creating and managing high-quality content

Easy to use, yet powerful, and the readers love it!
I enjoy creating documentation with Document360. Even more so, I enjoy to see how the readers enjoy using it - we have had so my compliments from readers, since we started using Document360!
Vorteile
Document360 is very easy to use - the editing options are easy, yet very powerful (think clever tables, video embedding, etc.). I love the fact that you can import word documents and that it can automatically split it up into smaller articles. It is also fantastic that we can have multiple KB versions (to align with all our software versions). The organization of the articles is also really important for us and it is much better than most other products that we evaluated: With document360 you can create structures and go very deep in terms of layers. The readers are, in turn, especially happy with the search functionality, as well as the automatically generated table of content, which tracks where in the article you are.
Nachteile
Although SSO is possible, it cannot be implemented for multiple domains. This is something we still miss.

Better Knowledge base for all
Vorteile
Document360 made it easy to upload all of our documents into the new knowledge base. The features allow us to make it "our own"! The layout and the easy of accessing documents via Document360 or MS Teams is another feature I really do enjoy. The move to Document360 has been nothing but a positive experience for US Cloud.
Nachteile
The only feature I least like was the API Team integration. I did not like the fact that it was 1:1 API for access. I told my concern to the Document360 team and was informed that next quarter this will be fixed where 1 API will allow all of our MS Team members to use Teams to search documents in Document360.

Doc360 is great for process documentation
Overall, we've been able to capture our process documentation and utilize it for both internal and customer-facing knowledge bases.
Vorteile
Uploading process documentation is straightforward. Can even be copy/pasted from Word in a pinch. Also, we are currently exploring some exciting code block features that may enable us to make our content multimodal, and more like an LMS.
Nachteile
Occasional formatting issues do arise, such as when headings result in underlines in the TOC. But customer service is extremely prompt.

A good workspace for content creation
We are using D360 as a Knowledge base, and it has allowed us to create and store ∼5500 contents and to communicate to coordinate the whole writing and editing process.
Vorteile
What I like the most about D360 is that it allows keeping track of every part of the writing and editing process (new article, needs review, draft, published) and it has the option to create fork and control versions of the same content. It also has a "discussion" option. These two features allow writers to communicate and understand what is it exactly that is being changed in their writing and why.
Nachteile
There are some bugs that still need to be fixed. For example, changing the folders icons is difficult because it does not always work, and you need to refresh, delete cookies and cache or just wait. We were also having some compatibility issues because some of our contributors were not able to access to the platform (it was solved by telling them to use chrome or firefox).

Stress-free content development!
I am extremely happy with Document360. We are transitioning from Zendesk and all criticisms of this decision have been easily averted with the quality of Document360.

There are a few (though not critical) problems with the code view tool. For example, using bullets within an ordered list is quirky.

A Super Convenient Documentation Tool
Overall my experience has been great! This is especially due to the phenomenal customer care and the specialists at Document360. Also, I appreciate the actions taken to improve Document360 given the feedback provided by customers. Last but not least Document360 has been the ideal option for the knowledge base at the company I am with because it is reliable and efficient.
Vorteile
Document360 offers an interface that is easy to use and customize. We have found that the tools and features offered enable us to break down information about our software in a manner that is digestible by our audience and gives us the flexibility to embed various types of media so that we can better control how to best deliver material to our clients. Furthermore, as an administrative user, the ability to assign roles and create workflows increase efficiency so that we can be even more productive as a team.
Nachteile
The only concerns I have encountered are minor bugs and the lag that occurs from time to time when editing or saving an article.

Really a 360-degree platform for Product Documentation
Doc360 is now our centralized documentation library serving our product users. Earlier, we were providing pdf docs to our users, which was very difficult to manage. With Doc360, we have published our documentation on the portals.

Doc 360 is a game changer in the product documentation space. A very simple yet powerful tool to serve best. Below are the points I like most:

- Smart Glossary
- Editor is the best in class, giving you a lot of flexibility
- Ability to create and use reusable content has made life easier
- Ability to make your document publically available with SEO enables as well as locking them from private use with a single click.
- Smart bars made it easy for us to add any announcements.

Easy to use not just for the users but also on the admin side. I also love all the additional features they have such as Feedback Manager: to gather information on the accuracy of the content or if the users think in content is beneficial the other feature that I love is the Search and Replace.

Alternative for DITA for small to mid tier organizations
As I'm moving to a new org, I'm seeing what I can do to take Document360 along with me.
Vorteile
Document360 has been a breath of fresh air for me after seeing organizations taking it too far with DITA. I will applaud the tool for its simple UI-just MS Word-like and very easy to use! Its powerful Search funtionality is itself enough to make you an instant fan of the platform. Not sure about their backend SEO, but I make use of the slug, short description, and H2 & H3 headings and keywords to optimize my content.
Nachteile
Experience with Tables can be improved, but I'm told by their Customer Servicing team that some enhancements are on the way.

Easy-to-use knowledge base with robust features and great customer support
Vorteile
As a standalone knowledge base, it has almost all of the features that I'm looking for: a good HTML and Markdown editor, a table of content, great searchability, and an easy-to-use CSS and JavaScript customization, among others.
I have previous experience with other platforms such as Confluence and Salesforce, and by far this is the easiest to learn and use.
Their customer support team is also stellar. They are professional and quick to respond to our queries.
Nachteile
It doesn't have a way to schedule an article for publishing or archiving.
I wish it has support for bulk exporting of documents (from Word).
Feature requests might take a while.
Limited integration with other platforms.

Document360 is a Rocket Ship
We came from an archaic version of a desktop Help system to Document360. Getting the new articles and/or article updates to the live website was (to be polite) horrendous and caused plenty of delays in getting crucial information available to our clients. And we were maintaining three separate Help sites/versions! With Document360 the delays are gone. We can have all three separate Help sites combined into one project. Updating an article for something simple like additional words or correcting punctuation used to take 24+ hours. That now takes minutes - quite literally minutes from request to fix to publishing the fix. Document360 is a rocket ship! The onboarding, migration, and support team are stellar!

Analytics - which we never had before.
Multiple authors working in a single database.
Nachteile
Wish they had a US-based support team, but this is a minor issue because everyone I've worked with thus far has been fantastic.

Document 360 Review after 4 months
Our overall experience has been generally good. We have seen some issues during these four months, but the customer experience has been excellent and thanks to that, some of the features that we asked for where added pretty fast.
Vorteile
First, I think that the amount of personalization that you are allowed it's very good and you can make the page feel like your own. Also, we have seen a very positive feedback for the knowledge base assistant which we implemented in our platform.
Nachteile
The only main issues that we had is to upload new documents from Word or google docs. Sometimes we had some problems with the format and in the end it was easier to paste the documents manually.

The support from the Doc360 team is fantastic. Regular check-ins and fast response time are much appreciated. Delivery of feature requests is timely and well-received!

The only thing that would make this better is if it were a component of Google Workspace, as this is one of the few elements we pay for outside of that platform.

Overall we have loved Doc 360 and it has hit all the points we have needed to be successful.

It is very user friendly and has been a great resource to gather all our data into one place, share continued training with our team and help us stay up on updates and audits.
Nachteile
Would like a better way to view some audit trails and export versions in Doc360. Sometimes the editing workflows are not always easy to work and navigating and organizing articles versus categories versus folders in the administrator view can be a bit annoying.

Does exactly what we need.

Great software for writing documentation
Documentation is very easily accessible to the readers and colleagues who are working on the documentation can collaborate all the time, before making it public.

User friendly software with a very nice article’s display including Table of Contents and Related Articles.
I am happy with the team/customer service, they offer support and react very fast to my suggestions and requests which can be very easily documented in their support system.
I am impressed by the frequent/monthly releases that include many new features, enhancements, and improvements.
Nachteile
So far I have no cons, before I had one but this is already fixed/enabled (I was not able to write in categories, they were considered as folders. Now I have the option to select the type for the category and page allows me to write content).

It is one of the best writer-friendly tools in the market. Doc360 gave us the platform to build our documentation from scratch. It comes with a lot of cool features and a home page builder with customization which makes the tool unique.
Nachteile
Nothing much about the tool. But when it comes to data migration, we may lose media files. If possible, doc360 can come up with an option to point data to our own servers.

Great documentation management tool! Easy to use and affordable
Overall a great all-in-one option for companies looking for something customizable, that works well and is easy to use. Price is unbeatable and live support is top-notch.
Vorteile
The platform is very easy to implement and use. Their live support usually gets back to me within a few minutes with solutions which is really great and way faster than other providers like say, Intercom for example. They are constantly improving the product and adding new features (based on user feedback) so I always have new tools to experiment with. Lastly, the Intercom integration allows our users to search our documentation directly from our software which is extremely handy.
Nachteile
Over the two years, I've used the platform they have eliminated a lot of bugs and built strong foundations so I have no real complaints as it is now very functional and includes all that I need. The one thing that I'd like to see in the future is a tool that removes automatically all unused media files from the database. Right now this is doable but manually.

It's been great dealing with the team. They helped us migrate our content and get started with using the product.
Vorteile
Their User interface is pretty Intuitive. Most people just know what to do where - without the need for training, etc. It also offers an easy to configure and minimalistic landing page.

No single sourcing and content reuse. Hopefully round the corner.

Best knowledge base for our needs
Vorteile
It feels very intuitive. We first implemented an open-source solution that had a lot of great features but there were more than a few quirks that made it difficult to scale for the entire department to use. With Document360, it just seems to work. Creating and editing content is easy. Building and rearranging the navigation is easy. And customer support has been very responsive. There seems to be good energy behind the product with a strong pipeline of new features. We evaluated several competing products and Document360 came out on top.
Nachteile
The cost grows considerably with larger teams. The enterprise package comes with 20 authors but after that pricing is per author and there is no distinction between active content creators and casual content creators. I would like my entire department to be able to create knowledge articles but I know that many, if not most, will do so infrequently and the $19/month per user is steep for what they're contributing. I would like to introduce Document360 to the entire organization but the cost would be prohibitive for the number of users we would like to allow to create content but would do so very infrequently.

Doc360 has changed the way we work and aligned our team for scaling!
The overall experience has been really great. Easy to use. And all of their advancement in the product over the past 4 years has been pretty amazing to watch!

Ease of use and ability to get moving very quickly!
Nachteile
Hard to always be able to map the new features to how we use the system. Also don't have a dedicated person to the solution. So there are a few champions internally pushing the initiative forward.

Works perfectly for our business needs.
Vorteile
Super easy to use! I can quickly write and update articles without any coding. Setting reader groups allows us to use one account for multiple clients.
Nachteile
Still missing a spellcheck feature, but I believe it's in the works.

Not sure how it can be scaled; the overall page load speed and admin panel load speed is slow on older devices; poor main page configuration functionality

Document360 was a perfect fit for my needs.
Excellent experience overall. I was able to hit the ground running and port our documentation to the Document360 platform very quickly.

Zero-effort setup with no need for any technical background.
Highly functional, easy and convenient editing capabilities.
Flexible, customizable portal.
Very responsive and helpful customer support.
Nachteile
Initially, PDF export was not functioning well. After I opened a support ticket, the problem was resolved and now PDF export works great. Other than that, I couldn't find anything wrong with this product.

Powerful knowledge base platform
We use the system to provide self-service information, and to reduce the load on the support team. It works.
Vorteile
The platform is intuitive and easy to use. It's a flexible system and has met almost all of our needs as a knowledge base system.
Nachteile
It's a powerful system, but it doesn't seem to be possible to create internal knowledge bases alongside client-facing knowledge bases. Otherwise it has met all needs.

Ease of setup, well organized and a plethora of useful features, such as versioning, reader groups, self signup and mixed accesses.

Pratical functionality
My experience with Document360 has been excellent so far. My contact is very helpful and answers all my questions. If something goes wrong or I have feedback, I feel heard. My users love the platform and see the benefits.
Vorteile
I like the way it is possible to organize our documentation. It is easy to move and link articles together. The platform is beautiful, practical and clear. I really like the status indicator feature. It helps me to organize information and give indicators to our users. The translation feature is very useful too. The platform is easy to use and the adaptation time is fast.
Nachteile
The tables have some difficulties. However, I know that Document360 is working to improve this feature.

Easy to use with excellent customer service.
We needed a platform where we could keep user guides and release notes with easy access for our customers. Now, all necessary information is in one place.
Vorteile
Document360 is easy to use. Articles are easy to edit and publish. When any issues occur, you can raise a ticket, and one of the members will come back to you in a reasonable time. Release notes are easy to follow.
Nachteile
In the past, we had some issues, such as overwriting articles by different users, and the copy-paste function from other editors was breaking the layout, but the team solved all issues.

Great overall, could add a couple of more features
Overall I find it a far preferable option to reduce the tickets that shoulder the customer support. The best tool for creating a product Knowledge base and FAQ pages.
Vorteile
It gives you a central hub of information. Rather than searching and asking for support issues faced by employees through cluttered information, you encourage to find answer themselves. It can be used as both internal and external knowledge base.
Top features for me in this tool is the powerful analytics that tells you what people have and what they are looking for, allowing you to plug the gap. This makes your knowledge base more reliable and usable. You can have user restriction access meaning complete control over who is able to access what. If you want to keep your information private.
Nachteile
The only issue I see is you can import content from WordPress and no word or CHM. Though these are nice to have options I personally prefer having it.

The thing that I like most about this software is the constant improvements and upgrades. Feedback is always welcomed and then used to make the product better for everyone.
Nachteile
Sometimes when creating a document with a lot of images, the loading of the images can become slow. This is a minor delay though.
