Happy Customer! Very professional team and a software that fulfill our needs.
So First benefit is that people don't have to carry around there receipts and lost them, and for us that the huge benefit.
Then I would say that on the long term it's gonna reduce the work of creating the report (waiting to see how the integration with our ERP works first!)
Vorteile
First everybody we talked to was very professional and very reactive on every requests we had (even proactive). Great Customer Support!
Then what we like the most about the software itself is that it's very user friendly and very flexible for the company needs. Also best value on the market.
The receipt reader is a feature that we really love.
We are using expense point since a little more than a month and our company is very pleased with it. I definitely recommend it.
We are still in the process of integrating expense point with our ERP and looking forward to it. That would saves us a great amount of time.
Nachteile
I don't have much cons because when we have a problem we notified the customer service that take care of it.
The only thing right now is that we are eager to have the Spanish Version!

Great Product and Customer Service!
The benefits of time, efficiency and electronic approval have been the most rewarding features. The customer service that [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] have provided in incomparable with thorough and timely responses - a wonderful experience!!
Vorteile
We love that the product is so versatile and allows us to customize it as needed. In addition, the ability to move from a paper system to completely electronic with an electronic workflow has resulted in huge time and process efficiencies for our company.
Nachteile
The only con is the learning curve associated with the admin roles; however when questions arise Customer Service is very knowledgeable and quick to respond.

Easy all-in-one expense management

What i like the most is the mileage tracking functionality of this software. I have tested so many mileage tracking software such as Triplog, Everlance, Simply, and MileIQ. Those software either are not available for my region or the GPS tracking is not accurate/failed to capture the trips on certain days. This mileage tracking function will auto-track once you are on the move (it knows the route I took exactly which is pretty amazing). Then, you can also edit data and attach receipts before submitting to the management system to approve.
Nachteile
There was this one time the user suddenly got logged out and couldn't log in to the application. Wasn't sure what happened, but all it took was for the user to reinstall the software to make it work again.

Expense Point saves time
The customer service that we have received has been excellent. Questions have been answered in a timely fashion and screen shots of our system provided to explain an issue or fix were appreciated.
Vorteile
We decided to utilize the Expense Point Mastercard for ease of downloading transactions directly into Expense Reports in Expense Point. No more questions of actual charges hitting the credit card - tips added incorrectly, forgotten charges, or guessing. Staff simply categorizes entries that need to be categorized and attach receipts - saving time. We then upload a file from EP into our Accounting software.
Nachteile
Sometimes, it seems that pulling reports is cumbersome and still figuring out potential duplicate entries from learning curve of manual versus automated entry of transactions.

Worked great to replace many manual processes across different departments
We moved from manual processes and happy to say we were successful in getting all departments involved quickly. Our process is faster and the data much more accurate.
Vorteile
The APP based services allowing for each user to post their receipts then a central person can match and code the transactions.
Nachteile
There were a lot of updates in the beginning but this has certainly better now. Support has always been very helpful.

Customer Service -- wish I could give more stars!!!
[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has helped us create a GL upload so we can add detail to the transaction register. This assists management in tracking expenses with better accuracy.
Vorteile
Frankly, it's all in the training and support. Many software programs can achieve similar results. It's the personal relationship with our outstanding rep that makes all the difference for us!! She goes above and beyond to assist us and answer all of our questions and concerns.
Nachteile
No major concerns. Our company has not taken advantage of the app and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has offered to help train on best practices and efficient use of the app and software. Very much looking forward to it.

ExpensePoint review
Very positive experience. Our implementation specialist was always prompt to return calls or emails and took the time to make sure everyone understood the program. I am thankful to have ongoing support so that we are not left to fend for ourselves after we are up and running.
Vorteile
Tutorials and support can't be beat. Software is very easy to use.
Nachteile
Unable to automatically live feed credit card into program - this is through no fault of ExpensePoint. the problem is our particular credit card company does not allow this feature.

Recplaced SAP Concur
Very positive experience with the implementation and support team. They are the best. We did run into some bugs but they were quickly addressed and never really impacted our ability top process expense reports in a timely manner.

Receipt reading and matching is great.
Nachteile
Need to have the right type of credit card for automatic upload of transactions. Our small business BofA card needs to be manually downloaded and uploaded.

Awesome! Customer service during the setup has been beyond compare.

Customizable to our needs - we have been searching for 2+ years for a company that would make
expense reimbursements to our employees an easy process, for both the employee and the accounting side. As a church, it has been hard to find a company willing to put in the extra time and brainwork to get the system set up as we need it. Found both in Expense Point.
Great customer service - while we have just begun the relationship with Expense Point, they have
been attentive to every question we need answered, and every detail we need worked out to ensure a smooth flow between their reports and our accounting software.
Employee training - Expense Point employees go the extra mile to ensure that our employees
understand the reimbursement process from start to finish, and provide links to those trainings
just for us.
Price - having researched a lot of companies, you can not beat Expense Point's per employee
rate.

Great Product
To be honest I wasn't looking to change expense reporting companies but I am so glad that we did. This product is easier and faster for the end user and cost us less each month.
[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been my implementation specialist and she is great! Very knowledgeable, and friendly and no matter what I threw at her, she fixed it quickly.
Vorteile
The system will automatically create a new expense report for you based on charge date. This saves the end user a lot of time. I love that there is a live person verifying the receipt information.
Nachteile
I wish I could zoom in on receipt pictures better (or easier) because the pic is farther out than you think when taking the pic. They are hard to read.
I thought that your receipt pictures would automatically match to the charge/expense once verified but it doesn't seem to be doing that for us. We could be doing something wrong.
I like the report that is created for me upon final approval but I wish it could be edited more. I would remove the weekly breakdown as we don't use/need that.

The software is very useful in the approval process and in monitoring status of our expense...
The approval flow of our expense reports becomes faster and tracking becomes easier.
Vorteile
The software's accessibility is great. The monitoring capability is helpful. I also like it that we have the control on some portions on the set-up, such that we can already do some minor changes even without going to customer support.
Nachteile
- Some limitations on the reports that we can generate such that we cannot make reports based on what we info we need, we can only utilize the current available reports
- there is no approver's capability to assign their replacement approver in case there is a need, without going to the customer support
- there is no capability on tracking receipt by Accounting of the hard copy of receipts
- some reports do not have an indicator on the report summary that receipts are attached to that report unless you looked at the expense summary

In regards to the limitations that you mention, firstly the Analysis reports. Although we have a very comprehensive list of over 36 reports and graphs, it is always nice to be able to create your own reports from scratch. I believe this feature may be added in the ExpensePoint system in the future.
As for the other points I believe we do have the solutions available in ExpensePoint and certainly for the receipt management comments. I have asked your Customer Relationship Manager Kelly to reach out to you to review these options with you.

Awesome!
Customer service is outstanding. I must have called everyday when we first got it and the reps were all so patient and helpful. When it all came together it was wonderful.

That it has kept all of our sales people current with their expense reports. It used to take months to get them to submit which really challenged the Accounting Team.

There is nothing that I can say that I dislike about the software.

A great solution for our business
The customer service has been outstanding - responsiveness, knowledge, caring. It was everything we hoped for when we signed up!

Expense Point has simplified a process for our company that had become very cumbersome for all - staff members needing to submit reports, approvers, and the accounting department. We have offices in more than one location, so getting the needed reports and supporting documents to the correct person was much more difficult than it should have been.
Nachteile
As with any new software and process, there is a learning curve. We just completed our first month using the system. It went very well with minimal issues to correct. I am confident that it will only get easier going forward.

When I was doing research, Expense Point had enough information in the video on their site that I was able to send the link to some selected staff members to get their input prior to our demo. Overall, the experience has been great with ExpensePoint. The team took care of us during the integration by adapting to your unique circumstances. We really appreciate it!
Vorteile
The variety of tabs/menus to easily go from approving reports to editing the expense categories in the Settings Manager. It is a flexible and powerful tool to process expense reports and in turn to analyze them.
Helpful & knowledgeable support team that goes above & beyond to support the integration and fix any issues.
Nachteile
Once the receipt reader feature is activated there is no way to manually override the reader if I want to upload a receipt without having it "read". This could be useful to cut out extra steps of isolating the personal expenses when uploading a receipt with personal & business expenses.

Expense Point support staff
The Expense Point support staff are readily accessible and respond to questions thoroughly and quickly. The support personnel made the initial system implementation as easy as possible and have answered all questions we have had, since.

Expense Point experience
The team reached out ( Via Phone ) to make sure Their support was addressing my needs vs an email.
I travel 100%, I need an application that will make my life easier especially with the requirements of various clients and the reporting structure gave me more than what I needed. I have used numerous applications but when it came to reporting ExpensePoint is head and shoulders above, not to mention it price point.
Vorteile
The team at Expensepoint wants you to fully understand the application, wants to make sure you are comfortable with application, your needs are meet. The team is outstanding
The application itself is probably more information that is ever needed, but from a fiscal and reporting mechanism it is outstanding.
Nachteile
I really cant say a con against the application,it has more functionality that is needed, but able to either use it or grow into the use.

We have used it primarily for Expense Reporting for our Retail environment. Currently more than 500 users are signed up and using it. Implementing Expense Point has been one of the easiest things I have done all year. The support has been by far outstanding. We have worked closely with rep from setup to training to helping us to develop the means to import expense reports into our ERP system. She has done an outstanding job, in my opinion. Response to any issues that have arisen has been prompt and thorough.

Ease of use. Users love the phone app, the ability to capture receipts from either phone or email and the ability to easily classify expenses. VERY user friendly. Bosses cannot say enough good things about Expense Point. You all made me look good finding you.

I have not received any negative feedback from our users nor have I, as of yet, found anything I do not like about it. Wish we had found this long ago.

Great Expense Management Software
The set-up and implementation of the software was easy and smooth. Due to its easy functionality and features, our users don't have the hard time to get familiar with the software. And I have to thank Theresa who has been very helpful and quick to respond, even though we had a great time difference.

Awesome Software
We have been using Expense Point for about 2 months now. I was skeptical at first but now I can't say enough about Expense Point and thier employees. The price is reasonable and there is no extra cost for technical support. Theresa and Eva are very knowledgeable on the software and have bent over backwards to help anytime I call. I am able to run reports easily and export them into Excell for analysis. Training on the software was minimal and even our older employees picked up on it quickly. Since it is web based, we can access it on all of our mobile devices without a problem. I would definatley reccomend Expense Point to anyone that wants to accurately track and monitor expenses. I am excited to see what they come up with next.

So far the customer service has been impeccable. I like the customer service and training are available and included for the duration of the contract.

The implementation and set-up of the software was easy. The team at ExpensePoint knows the software well and made it very easy to set-up and start using. As we had questions, they are quick to answer.

The software is very easy to use. It is intuitive for the end user. It is also easy to set-up and has many great features that give the software the robustness that it needs. It also has good integration with our corporate cards along with good reports for both analysis and to reconcile to our corporate cards and accounting system. It also has an easy to use export system that allows easy imports into our accounting system.
Nachteile
Not all fields that get entered in can easy be used in the export files. It requires customization.

Best expense software I have used
Expense reports are not fun for anyone or any department but they are necessary. ExpensePoint makes them user-friendly and the admin features allow you to add rules which give users guidance or reminders of policies as they build reports.
Vorteile
The app makes on-the-go reports very easy to build. You can snap a pic of the receipt/paperwork and not worry about keeping track of them while traveling.
Nachteile
If you do not use the standard GL account structure, you may not be able to map the exported reports to your system. This creates more hands-on work or creative workarounds.

After consulting with my AP group: increase in speed processing of expense reports by importing into our accounting system. Automated approval process. Manage sales TAX in different provinces. Generate valuable reports for income tax purposes for our sales managers. We like Theresa at customer service!
Nachteile
After consulting with my AP group: when importing into SAGE, date document after the import does not provide the actual range date of the expense report but actually the date it was imported. We have to go manually and adjust = inefficiency.

My overall experience with ExpensePoint has been great!
The support team, specifically have been very pleasant and responsive with direction and assistance in operating the programs. Most recently, ExpensePoint has tailored reports that are more user-friendly and more readable in the Excel format. We are very happy.

when you submit an expense and realize you need to recall it, you can't so you have to have it "declined" and a notice goes to the person of the expense and they get confused.
Also, when it's declined, there isn't a reason as to why the expense was declined. It would be nice to have that addition.

The best Expense Management System you will find!
If you are looking for an excellent online expense management system, your search can now stop. ExpensePoint Web is hands down the best system out there. We looked at several other systems, and even got through the installation stage with another system, only to discover management reporting could not be done. When I found ExpensePoint I was skeptical they could do all they claimed to, but was soon put at ease. The staff at ExpensePoint is very creative in helping to figure out solutions for unique issues. They are responsive to calls and questions. They offered excellent suggestions for implementation which helped ensure a successful transition. Several features we said we would like to see have shown up in product updates. Most of our users have found it very intuitive and easy to figure out. Don't be a "wish I had". Contact ExpensePoint and you'll be a "glad I did"!

Cost, webinars, customization capabilities, creativity of the staff to help meet unique needs, the responsiveness of the staff, ease of use, training videos, cost (I know I already said that, but it's important. I looked at several web based expense management systems and this was by far the best and the fact it was the least expensive was a bonus!)

I can't think of any, other than supervisors forgetting to log in and approve expense reports. But that's our process problem we are trying to resolve.

Easier to Manage Receipts
This has been a very positive change for the company. Uploading receipts is less stressful for the employees. It's harder to lose receipts when you can take photos of them easily while on the go. It makes my life easier - since I'm not tracking down people for their old receipts. I also like that all statements and receipts are in one place and it's easy to search and filter to see only the information you want. Having the option to run reports on spending trends is also crucial. This will be beneficial when conducting employee reviews.
Vorteile
The ease of uploading receipts has made a chore (scanning every receipt at the end of the month) a daily task of taking photos. The receipts automatically link to the credit card statement once it is uploaded which makes it much easier to see if there are receipts missing. For me, it makes approving expenses easier and more efficient.
Nachteile
We are still in the learning stages. Every time I thought I couldn't perform a task, I found out that I could.
