Choices are limited for users and sync times consistently change (i.e every hour does not have the ability to start on the hour but at a fivetran determined start time). Package integrations with DBT seem to have multiple issues, although Fivetran does offer office hours with support staff to assist. Building custom connectors is very challenging and tough to accomplish.
