Geelus is a relatively affordable software for alterations stores and the ability to quickly change item settings from home is very convenient for busy people.

There are too many options which makes it overwhelming at times.

Everything is in ONE program. I am moving away from square and google calendar. Once someone in a bridal group suggested Geelus. I LOVE that everything is in one place. I can keep up with who does what job. And everything is user friendly on customizing the layout. Customer Service has been Awesome when it came to asking question as I was getting started.

Nachteile

so far I have no complaints. Other than the pricing is a little tricky. I was text messaging to send customer notifications when items are ready. And I did not notice that was a separate charge because I didn't see the pricing for it.

the lack of customer support (it's a paid feature, yes you read that right you have to pay for customer service of their product!) the lack of "small print" regarding their pricing.

The cloud-based system means we can manage operations from anywhere, and the ability to set up automated SMS/email notifications for customers has really enhanced our service quality. Their customer support is also top-notch—quick responses and helpful guidance whenever we’ve had a question.

Nachteile

Being cloud-based is a pro and a con: if your internet connection is unstable or goes down, it can disrupt access to the system, which affects operations.

Vorteile

It's easy to use, straight forward and no frills. We are a small alterations business with 1 store so we don't need much. I could set things up and test very quickly. The team has been helpful to answer questions.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive systems but for our small business and our budget Geelus was the right choice for us.

Nachteile

Some of the features are a bit clunky -- the UI isn't the nicest (I demoed a handful of systems). It's not as customizable as it'd like it to be but that's just a nice to have.
