HiBob is both easy for administrators to use and intuitive for end users. Good data visibility and an intuitive interface characterize the reporting features. Workflows are fantastic, in my opinion as well.

Nachteile

Invisible drawbacks. Thanks to Bob's continuous updates and addition of new features in response to consumer input, any problems I've had have been swiftly and simply fixed.

Bob is really multifaceted and has filled a lot of gaps we have as a smaller People team. It honestly is a bit more than we need at our org size, but I can toggle off things we don't utilize, which is super helpful. Being in several countries Bob was an easy call to make because the level of detail is there for things like holidays and what information we need for folks based on their locations. The integrations to our other tech stack are also amazing compared to other systems we have utilized.

Nachteile

Some of the processes to set things up seem to be over complicated, but support is usually able to assist and there is a very robust library to problem solve with. The reporting can take a bit to learn how to get what you want but once you do it's actually really great.

You can easily access all employee database and quickly. The software doesn't lag. The time and attendance tracking is always accurate and it also provides a report of all the gathered data.

Nachteile

It's not available for all languages, so the selection is limited, as well as offline functionalities, which are also limited. If you are not used to HR platforms, some of its tools can be confusing to use at first.

It's task reminders are not consistent and sometimes it duplicates the tasks when an auto tasks is triggered manually. If a task is triggered manually the auto version should not be triggered.

Easy to use platform - book holiday/sick/birthday leave at the click of a button. I like the integration to google calendar. Easy to see when colleagues are scheduled to be off. We also recently started using for performance reviews.

Nachteile

Nothing noteworthy to mention here. I like the product

As an employee, I find the interface to be very comfortable to locate information regarding my own employment, as well as submit time off notifications, etc.

As a manager, while obviously the platform is only as useful as the information and features that our HR team chooses to include/utilize, I find the platform to be intuitive and clear - something which is not the case for many other products.

Nachteile

As noted above, I find the tool to be rather comfortable and do not have specific critiques. I believe our team could likely utilize more features, but that is obviously a calculous of time needed to set up more functionality as compared with competing demands in a rapidly scaling business.

Additionally, the focus on employee-centric features like the culture hub and pulse surveys fosters a sense of community and are pretty fun

Bob excels in many areas, the mobile app feels a bit limited compared to the desktop version, particularly when it comes to accessing detailed analytics and reports. There’s also a slight learning curve for non-tech-savvy users when setting up complex workflows or integrations with other platforms.

I have used many tools like this and Bob is by far the best. In terms of interface it is very pleasant on the eye. The UX is top notch giving users an easy and effective way to navigate. I love the organizational structure feature as well, very simple to use.

I find myself open it many times.
I also used the API which was well documented and easy to use and created simple automations to pull out some information.

Some of the screens are a bit overloaded and “old fashioned”.

HiBob is fantastic, but a feature I'd love to see is the ability to save preset report filters for different departments. This would streamline processes by having specific filters ready, eliminating the need to manually adjust them for each department's unique requirements. Implementing this would further boost efficiency and customization within the platform.

Would love to see further expansion in the 1x1 tool to enable team members to make meetings with their managers, and allow other leaders book 1x1s with team members to encourage mentoring. I would also love to see further development in the e-sign templates to allow for direct uploading of editable pdfs.

I have the feeling that the platform is trying to be so complete that sometimes it loses focus of its purpose.

It's very easy to navigate as a user. The side panel makes it easy to find what you are looking for. The Time Off section is what I mainly use Bob for and I like the feature where you can estimate how much time off you'll have in the future

The demographics for our organisation is also a very neat feature on the homepage

I do not have anything that I don't like about Bob. If anything, I wish there were more demographics for our organisation on the homepage, and maybe update the demographics! As I'm not sure the demographics have been updated since I joined the org

Every feature of HiBob has a meaningful impact, as long as it is properly set and used. The support team is fantastic and solves issues extremely quickly.We have HiBob for our organisation since last year, but I don't see how we could have done it with any other system. The most impactful to me is clearly the employee database management, and its general ease of use.

Nachteile

There are some automation features that are lacking, for instance the time and attendance module not being automatically linked to overtime policies. But I have no doubt that this will be implemented soon.The price can also be a deterrent, but it does fit with our purpose and need.

Having a singular location for all of our employee data and being able to search up the information I'm looking for saves me lots of time. Importing information in bulk is also super handy.

It was disappointing to learn that Sandbox features are behind a paywall since it's important for us to test and view features before implementing them to the hole company. The benefits page is a bit limiting in that you have to upload spreadsheets for each update.

HiBob tracks all out HR data in one place and we can access it with ease. When we onboard new employees, they love it and it makes us look really professional as a company.

The mobile app is great but you can’t see other people leave. A company view like there is on the desktop would be perfect.

The easiness of setting up and customising the system to the company's needs. Not to forget that the price was less than what we were paying for another software that has not had half of the features like hibob. In the end, the system is pretty straightforward for the users, if you are an admin you can easily get the information you need and all is even accessible from your phone.

Some of the features could be more customisable such as an organisation chart, conditioning on reviews but if you do report it to the team they communicate if that customisation is on the roadmap or if they believe they will develop it. It would be great to have webinars on new features and great practises of hibob employees itself.

Unlike other HRIS companies I've worked with in the past, the Bob platform is incredibly flexible. I'm able to set up customized onboarding flows, employee fields, and reports for every instance. Surprises come up in HR a lot and HiBob can go with the flow.

I've used several HRIS in my profession, but so far nothing compares to Hibob. It takes some time to set up and could be complicated as an admin, but it's extremely well designed and easy to use for the end user (employees). And the customer support is very good and responsive.

I am missing a couple of features:- Being able to schedule recurring 121:s (and integration with e.g., zoom )- The employee being able to schedule 121:s with their manager.-The ability to manually add tasks (in case of a tailored on/offboarding for one specific role)
