Mit dem iPhone oder iPad können Räume, Etagen oder Gebäude gescannt und innerhalb weniger Minuten maßstabsgetreue 3D-Modelle erstellt werden. Die App erkennt beim Scannen automatisch Möbel, Fenster und Türen und ermöglicht es, während des Scans Snapshots und Notizen hinzuzufügen. Direkt nach dem Scan wird ein 3D-Modell oder ein 2D-Grundriss erstellt. Im browserbasierten Metaroom Workspace können dem 3D-Modell Masse entnommen oder Notizen hinzugefügt werden. Ein einziger Scan liefert sowohl 2D- als auch 3D-Ergebnisse. Fertige Modelle können in verschiedenen 2D- und 3D-Formaten exportiert werden.
