Juli 2025* | Bildungsmanagement | Empfehlungsbewertung: 10.0/10 > > **Vorteile**: I have some standard and frequently used texts (names, addresses, paragraphs with formal texts) that can be stored and repeatedly typed with Typinator. Typinator can be used to store and recall them with a few keystrokes. It is a value-for-money tool on my Mac. > > **Nachteile**: It is not easy to remember those abbreviations I've saved, and it's easy to get lost in the sets of abbreviations. > > As a long-time user, I can say that I have really saved time, and Typinator has increased the speed of my writing. Additionally, I have had a positive experience with the customer service. ----- ### "Typinator has saved me time for almost 7 years" — 5.0/5 > **Paul** | *8. Juli 2025* | E-Learning | Empfehlungsbewertung: 10.0/10 > > **Vorteile**: As a professor at a university i Typinator stores, thousands of my responses to my students, and even allows me to personalize the responses, automatically, with their name automatically. > > **Nachteile**: I can’t figure out a way to have it not put an extra blank line at the top and the bottom on half of my responses. > > I’ve been using it for about seven years and have not only stored professional responses, but also personal replies, notes and notations and quotes ----- ### "reliable text expanding tool\!" — 5.0/5 > **Magdalena** | *31. August 2026* | Informationstechnologie & -dienste | Empfehlungsbewertung: 10.0/10 > > **Vorteile**: typinator is a reliable text expanding tool that works systemwide and very fast\! It includes advanced features, such as interactive fields and pop-up menus that let me personalize snippets with names, dates, and other details. I also like the set-specific setting like prefixes and suffixes. Also the privacy approach is a plus as all my data is stored locally\! Great value for your money\! > > **Nachteile**: you need the mac app in order to use typinator on your iphone or ipad. in the beginning it takes some time to set everything up (probably the case for all text expanding tools) but once you did that there is hardly any maintenance needed which is great\! > > great\! it is a fixed part of my everyday workflow. I don't even think about it anymore, I just type my abbreviation and Typinator handles the rest\! ----- ### "Indispensible" — 4.0/5 > **Stanley** | *6. Februar 2024* | Kunst & Handwerk | Empfehlungsbewertung: 8.0/10 > > **Vorteile**: Simplicity of use is the feature I like best > > **Nachteile**: I suppose having it tucked away in the corner of the screen where I can hit the Apple icon by mistake. > > Very positive, in fact I'd say it's indispensible. ----- ### "Great product & great service" — 5.0/5 > **Manel** | *15. Oktober 2025* | Großhandel | Empfehlungsbewertung: 9.0/10 > > **Vorteile**: Easy, straightforward app. Good training resources. Excellent, ready-to-go sets for snippets. Good customer service. No subscription. > > **Nachteile**: Nothing relevant to mention about it. The app does what it says.
