A quality product that is particularly beneficial to management guidelines. The administrator can easily view the reports with the graphical interface. The Interface is quite user-friendly. As a result, the software is simple. It is helpful in maintaining internal and operational efficiencies.

I don't have any disclaimers to make regarding this product. The tool is perfect on its own way.

In my opinion GUI should be a bit more easy to navigate, if you compare it with vendor who produces firewalls (name start with P) has much more intuitive GUI that everyone will benefit from. Maybe in some next releases you can accommodate some some of those approaches and integrate in your product.

After checking so many tools we find the ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer,because it provided us the detailed firewall reports to meet IT audits.

I'm not good at writing reviews. I do open the application every morning and look at the activity that it has gather over night. I go and look and bandwidth utilization as well as look at what machines have used the most data over night. it's my daily morning check to make sure our network looks ok. Over-all its a great product and gives me the logs and information I need to feel comfortable on a daily bases that I'm able to monitor my network for bad activity.

Wish it had more summary or weekly manager type reports that I could schedule to run for my managers. I'm sure there are a few others, but not many, but can't think of them now.

The best part about Firewall Analyzer for our business is how user-intuitive it is. For new members of the IT team, who may or may not have worked with our vendor of firewall before, being able to look through the logs and events with a GUI is so much more simple than trying to look for events via the CLI.

Nachteile

The main thing I dislike about Firewall Analyzer is that it can sometimes bug out when changing display settings on the portal, e.g. to include DNS names will sometimes cause it to crash and not remember the settings. Editing the NOC dashboard can also sometimes cause it to crash.

I believe this feature adds great value to the product and allows firewalls to run more secure and high performance. Additionally, it centralizes the management of many different firewall vendors/brands which is great.

Even if the product can make firewall management for many vendors, it can pop-up some errors on these managements. So, I believe the management of FW part should be improved.

Initially, I was dissatisfied with the older build version as I encountered difficulties while attempting to add a firewall device to receive alerts for rule or policy changes. Despite the commendable patience and support from the technical team during one-on-one sessions, the issue persisted. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to configure the admin credentials, the technical support team recommended upgrading the OpManager application. Following the upgrade, the device was successfully added with the admin credentials, and now we are receiving alerts for policy and rule changes as intended. I appreciate the assistance provided by the technical support team throughout the process. over all I did not liked the older bulid version.

The resource it uses could at times slow down to a point where usage is affected especially during the rush hours. It also required hardware upgrades to ensure that it runs to optimum functionality which is an additional cost that was not foreseen.
