Hard to imagine being without it at this point.

Bare Minimum
Overall it's been okay. Not a whole lot to brag on. Very minimal for our type of business.

It's been nice to be able to keep track of correspondence.
Nachteile
I can't separate my billing by my region. So reporting wise the whole company is bulked together. It would be nice not to have to filter through my email to find what I need. It would be nice to be able to have a fully operational AR & AP all together in one place. invoices disappearing after payment is kind of wonky. Rather than having a separate place within the software once they've been paid.

Hi Alicia - We are glad that Gaviti has been helping you keep track of correspondence. We pride ourselves on helping A/R teams get and stay organized. About the separation of billing, it is possible to do this, it's entirely up to you how you choose to structure your business units. Many of our customers use both approaches: some prefer managing everything under a single unit, while others set up multiple subsidiaries based on region, unit, branch, or other criteria. All of these options are supported.
Even within a single business unit, you can implement these distinctions using custom fields based on specific criteria.
About the disappearing invoices. Invoices don't disappear, it depends on the filters you set up. If you wish, you can apply a filter to view all invoices, including the paid ones, on the same page.

Gaviti overview
Overall the program was easy to learn which makes it easier to train the rest of the team. Usually when someone has a question, it can be answered quickly so I can get back to my job.

I like that we can keep all our notes in one place instead of using spreadsheets
Nachteile
I know everyone else likes that invoices disappear after they are paid but I would like it if we could access paid invoices and previous notes for a history on the customer.

A few awesome reasons why we use Gaviti and you should too!
Over all, good outweighs the frustrating by far. It is nice to have all of your information in one spot and know it will be there the next day with certainty. Exceeds programming used before by my place of employment. If you are looking for a nice, organized, up and coming system, Gaviti is it!!! Highly recommended!

I like that my invoices, notes, sales team information and contact information are all in one spot. I like that you can edit notations if needed. I like all the sorting and organizing features! Being able to send email from one co-worker to another is also another amazing feature!
Nachteile
There are very few features I do not like. It does "oh snap" often when trying to get many lines of information at one time. It has a little bit of slowness at times of high volume across the company. Other than that, it is great!

Overall okay, speed issue
I have had a good experience with all of the features, I am not complaining about any features, I love all it has to offer. The speed is just a bit of an issue when it takes 10 minutes to save one note.

I like how it localizes all of our information in one place and everyone can see notes.

It is extremely slow during business times (I understand that the time is heavy on the server, but I feel as though it should function a bit better given the nature of gaviti)

Thoughts on Gaviti
good experience with learning the program and still learning. open to learning as much as much as I can to aid me in being as efficient as possible in my role.

Easy to locate accounts, ability to review any and all notes from previous users to get a broader look at any prior or consistent issues. Also, can locate any additional contact information.

No negative opinions. I've only used this product for a about a year and still learning the ins and outs, but have no complaints about the program.

Very efficient Invoicing system
My overall experience has been rather positive. The emails sent out of Gaviti tend to get quick responses!
Vorteile
It creates and maintains an invoice history for every single invoice. I can quickly gather what collection efforts have been made on every invoice in the system.
Nachteile
Invoices that haven't even posted in our system are also added into Gaviti, mixing into the REAL numbers with unofficial and unrealized AR opportunities.

Please be aware that Gaviti doesn't create invoices, we only read the data from your ERP. So if the invoice is showing in Gaviti, it must exist in your ERP. Gaviti Improves Billing and Collections Processes
Vorteile
Gaviti does a much better job at tracking invoices and dates than native ERP systems, and particularly does a better job at logging notes and correspondence both with the customer and with internal team members. It's improved communication between departments exponentially.
Nachteile
There is a slight lag time between posting an invoice in our ERP system and it showing up synced with Gaviti. In a perfect world, there would be no lag time.

HORRIBLE - Too many bugs in the system. Ability for more users added slows speed down even further. I should not have to wait for the system to sit and spin after a single notation. I need to have the ability to added a note save it and then moved o the next task. My job is fast paced, I need an accounting system that will not hinder this.

SPEED!!! Inability to use "enter' instead have to tab down 1st. AW SNAP responses are constant.

I am still learning about some of it. But, the overall experience has been good. There have been a few glitches when trying to pull Credit Reports. But, I an hopeful we can overcome them.

Overall, Gaviti has become a staple in our collections process. I view it as having an additional team member.

Once set up, the Gaviti systematically reminds your customers of the due dates of their invoices. This cuts down on the number of hours spend contacting customers.

I just want to make you aware that transaction ID numbers are a feature of Gaviti's Cash Application product. If this is something you are interested in, please contact your dedicated customer success manager.
We also do show if there is a credit balance. We have a column called "total balance" in the customer records' page. If the balance there is negative it means that this customer has credit balance.

Very positive and would recommend to any company looking for an automated collection tool that does not cost an arm and a leg but delivers what was promised.

Gaviti Overview for non accounting staff
Learning as we go. I'm not in accounting so don't normally need to use this but when I do could maybe use some manuals or quick references etc.

The dashboards and the way the data is presented - it's intuitive and it's easy to consume the critical data.
Working with collectors, the fact that notes can be added is also helpful.
Nachteile
The onboarding was very long and not all the features are fine tuned - but we are getting there with our CSM.

Gaviti Delivers!
Gaviti is easy to use, easy to implement, effective in reduction DSO and they have outstanding customer service. All in all, we couldn't be more happy! Gaviti simply helps us be more effective at collecting our Accounts Receivable and we are so pleased we are getting ready to add the Credit Management module

It is like collections automated! I was skeptical that the automated workflows would be effective, but they certainly are. Without any intervention from my team, our DSO has improved 15%.

Excellent Product, helped transform our AR
The team at Gaviti has been excellent from the start, im so thankful we made the decision to partner together in 2020. At the time we had no systematic way to track AR invoices. This has transformed my AR team. The customer service is top notch and they've always been there to support my team. Multi-Entity, Multi-Currency as well, which is our business grows internationally this will continue to be a valuable tool.

The user interface is easy to navigate, it was easy to set up, it provides all the management reports we need to run a successful collections team.
Nachteile
It doesnt recognize the project in the Sage integration, just the customer, but this is a manageable item.

Great value for your collections related needs!
Vorteile
In addition to the product itself being very easy to use, what I appreciate most about Gaviti is that it does the heavy lifting for those involved in collections. Rather than manually following up on each individual customer, Gaviti can handle the entire follow up process for all customers which frees up the user for more strategic thinking. The administrator also has complete control over workflow email template designs which allows for quick pivoting in targeting and messaging strategy when necessary. On top of that, the system provides useful metrics and is able to manage communication not only internally with the team, but also externally with clients as well.
Nachteile
Although the invoice attachment function helps, what would be game-changing is if all open invoices per customer could be attached for download in one email to the customer. Furthermore, when the invoice table is embedded in the email, all of the invoices listed should be available through the link. Hopefully this is already part of the current road map. Other than this specific item, there isn't much to not like about Gaviti.

Helped our customer service team get involved with collections
We implemented Gaviti quickly - within 2 weeks. Easy to get going especially since the Customer Success team was so prompt, involved, and knew our goals and timeline. They have provided excellent service with fast turnaround rates. Like the chat feature - would ask for a more robust help center. Thank you Gaviti!

customer emails are very easy to draft - love the data fields you can add to the text. having the visibility into invoicing status, what emails have been sent, and being able to easily automate reminders has really helped our customer support team be more involved with collections. before Gaviti, we had no visibility and it was slow/hard to help customers when they would call in about payment questions.
Nachteile
the customer response / activity could be more like an inbox and drive automation of workflow pauses. today it's just an activity feed - but seems like it could be much smarter. Also some of the reporting filters could be simpler.

Gaviti Review
Gaviti has had a very clear impact on our collections - our DSO has improved significantly and Gaviti has quickly become a must-have software for our growing finance department.
Vorteile
The most impactful part of Gaviti are the customer success managers that go above and beyond to ensure our company is set up for success. They were quickly able to understand our business needs and tailored our Gaviti workflows to make the most of this software.
Nachteile
There were some challenges with the QBO workflow tags that could be supported out of the box. We were unable to use the Company Name rather than the Company Display Name, but the CSM team was quick to assist and solve the issue.
