At first during i had a alot of dificulties using ProPresenter but now i do really enjoy using using it, integration was not easy as i needed to change machines upon machines to be able to use it.one of my best features is the the dual Monitor alot of similar applications don't have this function but ProPresenter has it and with the Free one available it just makes everything beautiful for us who can't afford to buy it

as of now i don't have any problme using propresenter but i will love to suggest that if we can add tutorial videos to the application itself, in such a way that when someone installs it he then can watch the tutorials it will really help newbies to the application, helping us to maintain them and make their stay with ProPresenter a great one

I haven't really run into a whole lot of issues and I'm not sure the volunteer who runs it has even come into very many issues. We have had issues with it recognizing different screens but we worked through it.

ProPresenter makes creating presentations super simple. The interface is so clean and easy-to-navigate. I use it while volunteering for my local church to project content like song lyrics, slides, videos and verses onto the screens during the service.

The ProPresenter comes with many features and it is regularly updated. We were easily able to control the stage lights with it for each song with different themes. For the first time we were able to have have different displays for lead team, congregation and the sound/display team. It is a near perfect software

The cons seemed a lot especially for the size of our church. The cost is very high and it is a very technical software for any new person. Additionally, it will run but with difficulties for computers that are not very powerful especially for volunteers.

The ease of use is probably my favorite thing. If you need a basic display system for your church this will get you going right away without a hitch. If you need more advanced, multi network, multi screens, adding confidence moniters or stage displays, using iPads and IP networks with a control room. Ya know the mega church display setup.... this is still the preferred program to use. The training available from the manufacture is also a plus, as well as the online community constantly helping each other use this product to their specific needs. The continual advancement of the product is great, but also past versions still function wonderfully without the need to update unless you just need to advance with the times. Another is the nearly perfect problem-less track record of using the software it has in the 5+ years of me using it across multiple systems, setups, and churches.
The ability for nontech volunteers to quickly learn the program is worth any church investing. I train people who barely know how to operate a computer or operate a Mac, and they catch on quickly because the software makes it easy. Even as they are learning and there are problems with wrongs slides displaying (user errors), I'm able to oversee them and quickly fix without a big ordeal and without distraction for the audience on my accounts.
The integration with other products are excellent too. Whether it be SongSelect, social media in your messages, advanced graphics cards/etc, or iPads/Apple TVs.

If I have to say one negative is this software works best with Mac's. Through the years the software has had issues with PC's running ProPresenter. Although I have heard that the latest ProP 6 has corrected most conflicts in Windows software, so this con may be mute by now, I don't know I stick to Mac for our media computers.

There are several different systems displaying lyrics. It is all in what you get used to. I have used Powerpoint, MediaShout, and ProPresenter. It takes time to learn anything new and unfamiliar and everything has its pros and cons. ProPresenter overall is a great choice. Just be sure to give yourself time to learn all of its features.

Again, this is about ProPresenter 7. They've made some random things easier than it was with ProPresenter 6 (such as changing text color).

For ProPresenter 7, it tries to do too much and sacrifices things it did well (or easily) in ProPresenter 6. It certainly is not as intuitive as ProPresenter 6 was! We rent from another church, so we can't leave our laptop plugged in to run from week to week, but that shouldn't matter. It baffles me that one screen configuration setup that worked the previous week doesn't work the next week. Also, I don't appreciate that I can't find (this may be me, but again - not as intuitive) the CCLI number for songs we've already downloaded as I was able to in ProPresenter 6. PP7 is geared for streaming and seems to have made that a focus. We use Facebook for streaming because we have so much text on screen that it will require a complete redo to break the text screens from our liturgy into smaller lines of text on a page to allow for visuals and text on the same screen. Anyway, PP7 has been a disappointment and I don't think it's going to get any better for me because their focus seems to be more on streaming than multimedia display.

The text editor for ProPresenter is really annoying. You have to tweak it little by little to make it look presentable, but it automatically goes to a default font, size, and position, which is a bit annoying to do. However, it's isn't much of a complaint.

We can train a volunteer to use ProPresenter in just a few minutes, but the depth of features is outstanding. We probably use less than half of the capabilities of ProPresenter, so it scales with us. It's also rock solid. Nothing induces panic like a last-minute software crash. It very rarely has any issues.

You definitely pay for the quality and features. There are less expensive options but they can't touch the stability of ProPresenter. I feel like the subscription system they have moved to is cost prohibitive to some smaller churches and organizations.
