The best thing ever. Revolutionized how we manage our projects.
Organizing our projects become easier, sharing that progress with clients is easier, billing for projects is easier, chatting about the tasks and sharing files is easier...seriously...everything is easier with Monday.com.
Vorteile
Being able to customize anything we want. We assign colors to employees so we can see who is falling behind or carrying the majority of the workload. We can see if a certain client has a lot of urgent items and needs more attention. We can share our progress with clients so they can see in real-time what we are working on. We've created a way for Billing to know when it is time to bill for a project b y using the tags feature. The software is simply amazing. I cannot recommend it enough.
Nachteile
I would like a way to sync certain items so they could be on 2 boards at once. I reached out to support about it and they were friendly, helpful, and gave me a great suggestion. It's not exactly what I want, but it absolutely works better than nothing. Seriously, my only complaint is that one tiny feature request.

Need to have more video tutorials explaining features etc.... although its easy to use one can quickly get confused with the amount of boards one sets up. would be great to have a consultant actually do a full demo of the system after understanding what we want to do, to ensure we using it in all its glory

The solution of our company looking for
Since I joined the company in 2019, our sales team worked with the manual system like spreadsheet, etc. We often missed our client agreement due date because there is no platform to manage it with reminder or automation. With Monday.com we can manage our sales work perfectly, we can get a very useful notification of certain task, we can send a client satisfaction survey to our client easily.

The automation and integration are very helpful. I can explore more features by using Monday.com

The desktop app sometimes got crash, so I prefer using browser version

Production Software
Amazing and productive!
Vorteile
We have used Monday for all our Production Tracking for 2 years. We have continually improved it and without a doubt has helped us grow. This year we deployed the CRM and have made the switch from Salesforce to Monday. Its much more user friendly and quicker. The app is much better as well!

An essential core for your brand
It's been fantastic overall. I actually use it for accounting as well and tracking income/expenses and that's been fantastic. I made myself a deal pipeline as well which has really kept things on track and organized. I've really loved this software and am likely to recommend it to friends.
Vorteile
What I like most is the UI. It's extremely intuitive, gorgeous looking, and promotes a feeling of productivity and ultimate entrepreneurship. Its automation software is also brilliant saving loads of time on many fronts.
Nachteile
The pricing is a little high. I currently pay about $100 for 2 people and would love to see that come down to somewhere in the $30-$50 per month range. Also, the mobile app is a bit redundant in my opinion. I've never found myself going to the app for anything other than to find something on the run.

Excellent Project Management Tool!
We desperately needed an easy to use, easy to update project management tool in our App Development company. The Sales Dept. would get calls from clients asking, "how's our app coming," and they had to e-mail the Tech Dept, wait for a response and then call the Customer back. Now, the Sales Dept. can see exactly what stage of Development the client's app or website is in and tell the customer right then and there. No wasted time e-mailing or returning phone calls.
Also, the Tech Dept. can see what the Sales Dept. has in the pipeline so they can predict what's coming in.
It has also helped us streamline processes for each Dept. The whole entire sales process can be mapped out with every step start to finish, with the final step being customer survey sent. You never forget to do any step any more! You can also customize your responses for each step along the way such as "Done" or "In Progress" or "Waiting For Client", etc.
The customer service with monday.com is excellent. That's a big deal to me. I don't want to hunt and peck around the internet trying to find chat groups or how to contact support. When you ask a question you get a response within a short period of time.
The software is pretty intuitive but there are support tools to learn tips and tricks.
Vorteile
Easy to use, very intuitive. Customizable to your projects and company. You can easily monitor step by step processes in however many Departments you have in your company. I like that its now an app that can live in my button dock. One click and its open.
I like that you can discuss clients back and forth between team members.
Nachteile
Right now I can't think of anything. Perhaps there are glitches or design features that more advanced users might appreciate but for our needs it works exactly as we need it to.

Awesome Communications and Process Flow Software
Our company needed a central hub to keep our sales team properly communicated, as well as updated sales funnels. We also needed a ticketing system for IT support for our users. We also needed a central project management tool to help keep our priorities straight among cross functional teams. We also needed a place to keep our to-do's and action items supervised, with the ability to monitor individual performance and assign new tasks as needed to subordinates. We found the ability to do all that in monday.com. The platform is super simple to understand, they have a very extensive library of "boards" that allow you to create different types of process flows. You can send new info into your board via email, and you can respond from the app via email updates. This is a great tool to have a number of communication processes under the same roof.

Ease of use, simple implementation and ability to have groups by roles as well as private process flows.
Nachteile
Lack of flexibility on some complex business flows, but they keep adding features on a regular basis that help counter their perceived lack of flexibility

We can accurately see where we are with sales and know that we have enough business in the pipeline to hit company goals. We can run quick reports to see which teaming partners would best fit a particular business opportunity.
Vorteile
The ease of use is unbelievable. Before Monday.com we worked off convoluted spreadsheets and word documents that used impossible formulas. The dashboard we created makes our Business Development meetings a clearer picture of where we are and where we are headed.
Nachteile
A link or intergration to gmail that easily allows you to ingest signature lines would be amazing.

Work Flow Management
The main business we solved on monday.com is the CRM. Because in a travel agency business, customer service is a key to success.
Vorteile
I like this software because it solves our main issue - centralizing the workspace. By having a centralized workspace, it's easier to produce the standard operating procedure for each department. Not that monday.com has the automation feature for particular tasks, but it also helps our business to slowly automate the whole process. Our team loves this software very much. We treat our work as a game.
Nachteile
I wish we could have a chat feature on monday.com.
The mirror feature is not optimized. e.g. The number or formula does not have the summary function.

I use it to organize customers and leads to keep them separated in categories. I write updates for each customers so it is easy to know what they need when they call.
Vorteile
the best thing in my opinion is the ease of use for the most part. It is very appealing to look at and easy, so it is not hard to get the entire team on board with using monday.
Nachteile
Wish integrations/automations were easier to setup or had better instructions. We currently do not have it integrated with any other software or websites.

The reminders, sales forecasting is a great feature and makes my reporting to my immediate manager super easy. I can download reports with a click of a button.

Its versatility and easily manageable. It works well for us for sales, reporting and accounting.

We are still looking at a lot of features that are incorporated in this software, i believe it might get overwhelming if we keep on adding new features to it. We are satisfied with what we can achieve with this product.

Monday (formally known as DaPulse) is a great tool for teams, coordinators and clients alike.
Easy to integrate teams, coordinators and clients. Communication is seamless and collaboration is very easy.
Monday gives you great control over project management and lets the whole time collaborate and turn in on time. Clients can also benefit as they are in the loop and can collaborate as well.
Overall very easy to use and customer service is acceptable.

Basic package is a great value compared to other softwares.
Pretty easy to use once you've mastered the learning curve.
Streamlined and overall great experience on smartphones.
Desktop App is great.
Nachteile
Premium features will cost you and are packaged. For my company only the Gantt feature is something we need from the premium package, however we are forced to pay much more for features we don't need. If we could get that feature as a standalone to my basic package I would give it a 5/5.
Duplicating boards is easy, however it would be great to be able to duplicate without the contents, that way we wouldn't have to delete each input manually.

We absolutely love the ease, all the features, just everything about it. We’re are always amazed at the product as a whole and it runs our entire business! We can’t recommend Monday.com enough.

When you make copies, it’s a little annoying having to always delete the copy out of the copied item but otherwise LOVE MONDAY!

LOVE Monday!!
We have been able to be more organized with the process of making sure things are being done in the same order as one another. We each have separate parts to make the whole, so it has really been a hero in helping us maintain efficiency in a timely manner.

I love that we can monitor and track our team's progress, with resource management and CRM capability we are able to house all our operational, marketing and sales needs on this one platform.
Nachteile
I feel a bit lost with all the features, for all the integrations I feel its a bit unclear how to set up certain integrations, eg: Integrating my emails to track conversations within CRM and to have a log of contact.

This is a wonderful platform. It has done so much in terms of integrating our Sales and CSM teams' work in one place, and streamlining our processes and access to information.
I would highly recommend this product.
Nachteile
It's not the most intuitive product to actually set up, though that can be expected of a product with so much to offer as far as integration, features, and functionality. I'm sure Monday's team will continue to improve their user experience over time.

My favorite part of the software are the robust automations you can write to automate your processes. And they can be written in seconds with the automation builder!
Nachteile
Importing data could use improvement. The product doesn't easily allow importing to certain data types, so you first have to import data as text, and then convert to dropdowns/status columns.

I am at this point an extensive user of Monday in many variations
The ability to coordinate with tasks while out with clients. The ability to coordinate large arrays of information (I have a board with over 400 items, each with document attachments, and Monday has allowed me to not only clearly define each one, but to assign tasks, have ongoing dialogue and track and manage each pulse with ease. This alone is just amazing and virtually impossible with any other tool I have.
Vorteile
The incredible flexibility and uses for Monday are just endless. I use it for business planning, working with tech specialists, working with colleagues, and I even use it for personal task management as well as to organize some subcommittees at a non-profit I am involved in.
Nachteile
OK two things. One, it does not quite sync up with my calendar they way I want it to. And two - I am in NYC and I can't use it underground where there is not a signal.

A tool that has made my working life easier
Vorteile
Monday has been a real help exactly when our team needed it. As our workload has increased meaning working collaboratively across projects has been required Monday has been an amazing tool for keeping on top of tasks, and means I am able to see when other members of the team have completed items or receive up to the minute status updates without needing to constantly check with them. This saves time, has improved communication and given an improved sense of autonomy to team members.
The flexibility of the boards means it has uses across our interior design and project management business, from tracking order admin on each project to keeping track of new leads and planning marketing. I have found the customer support to be excellent and there are useful videos available to help get to grips with using it. Even less technologically advanced older team members have loved using it, setting up the status updates with quick click labels has made this so accessible and quick to update. The iphone app also means you can use on the go, for instance a nagging feeling that something has not been ordered or actioned in the middle of the night can be put to rest within seconds - without having to wait until 9am to check in with team members.
Nachteile
Needs someone to be technologically aware/ a bit of effort to set up the boards, however it is so easy to use once put the time in it is definitely worth the initial effort.
I would say the main challenge in our business has been getting the whole team on board to
a change in doing things, however even the most resistant team members have quickly got on board as soon as they have given it a chance.

Solid CRM with other capabilities
Vorteile
I like that our team can track all of our projects and make sure that we are on time and staying on track. We can track the amount of time that a task has taken us. I also like that we can keep track of our contacts, and incoming leads and what they need from our company.
Nachteile
Teaching our team and clients how to use the platform can be a little difficult at times. Also, there have been times where automations were slow to trigger or didn't at all for a little bit.

I tried countless softwares for managing our new leads & contacts and monday.com has been amazingly helpful in getting the information organized and customized to my needs.
Nachteile
I would like to see more defined goals for each team member as a whole instead of by project.

Great Functionality
We have dramatically streamlined our daily functions, and made our work flow immediately available to the next user.
Vorteile
This has been the easiest CRM in terms of functionality and ease of use. Very easy to learn, right out of the gate. Easy to customize too. Has cut my workload down dramatically, especially not having to do 10 things on one item. Now it's one and done, for the most part.
Nachteile
I really can't find anything bad to say here. For our purposes, this has been top notch! Easy to use, easy to learn.

Helps Client Service check which clients have been approached and the progress on that specific client, so that 2 people do not approach the same client with the same project.

The easy of use and navigation : I love how 2 people can be working on the same project and also track at the same time, The movement bar helps check the progress of certain projects.

I like the drag and drop functionality and how colourful it can be because it helps me see at a glace how things are coming along
Nachteile
I form function is very basic and not visually appealing - I had planned to use it for lead capture of new prospects but it's pretty ugly so I'm sticking with my wordpress native form, but it means I need to do a manual step still, which I had thought I could avoid
