Worth every penny!

Thus far, it has been amazing! The customer service is incredibly helpful and very patient! It has very muvh so been worth every penny!

Vorteile

I really like that this software is specifically built for the industry I practice. I have tried other programs that do not quite understand the specifics needed within my software to create successful proposals.

Nachteile

There are some learning curves but ones that the customer service are very responsive to. I would like to see an increase in the ability to tokenize particular texts for contracts such at "today's date", event's "total", "deposit" and the ability to adjust the deposit as a percentage or by dollar amount, and the ability to adjust the payment due date to reflect the customer's version so that they know when their next payment is.
I would also greatly appreciate the ability to have email correspondence and google calendar to sync with my events so that I am not having to go back and forth with two to three different programs to stay organized.

Couldn't do my job without it

Vorteile

Curate does all the things I need it to do to be able to do my job in the most organized way. It allows me to provide a detailed, easy-to-read proposal to my clients, while maintaining our pricing structure and profit margins. The ability to have multiple recipes within one line item so I can divide out the florals from the candles and click the photos easily into the line item is amazing. The drag and drop feature for the media gallery and mood board area also cannot be overstated how easy that is!

Nachteile

Probably the price, but I do understand pricing to have a great product, which you have.

Poor customer service

Bad customer service, you cannot speak to a person unless you want to purchanse the softare.

Vorteile

The software is fairly easy to navigate but not progressing to improve usability.

Nachteile

Go on their website and try to contact them. You can only schedule or sign up to spend money but if there is a problem there is no way to contact. I tried to cancel use of the product, I have no contract and they just continue to charge my card month after month. Finally a call and they said it automatically renews for a year without any communication or contract - what??? Only desperate and unethical people run a company like this - BEWARE

We hate that you had a negative experience with support experience given our top-tier customer support in other reviews. You can reach us via chat in the app or email (which it looks like you have).

We just checked our records to ensure that the annual renewal was communicated. It does look like you were regularly in contact with our support team and personally approved previous renewals prior to this year.

We do have automatic annual renewals (as most business software companies do) so I hate that you didn't respond to our annual renewal agreement for several months. However, it does look like our support team emailed you the communication to validate to you that it was sent.

Even such, we will still bring this up internally with our team to see how we could do better in the future.

Nachteile

Generating a mood board before presenting pricing to clients would be incredibly valuable! While there is a limited mood board and color scheme included in the proposals, having the ability to create standalone mood boards before receiving final quantities from clients would greatly facilitate the initial client discussions. The challenges of incorporating recipes and verifying product availability from wholesalers can be cumbersome tasks that delay the proposal creation process, potentially resulting in clients choosing other florists who offer quicker responses.

Way too much money for what is provided

Things started off great! After trying Caterease, which felt archaic in comparison. Though the pricing was about the same as Caterease, the functionality and UI were better so I transitioned over to Curate. They were a small company, and very receptive to my feedback and needs, and quick to implement some of the suggestions I had. I got to know the [sensitive content hidden]
, and was even asked to be a customer testimonial to their venture capitalists when they were expanding. Then changes started. The once easily-navigable UI started getting clunkier. Things stopped working as well as they did before. Their updates were more like bugs. All the while, I'm still paying $3400 a year for degrading software. Then, as I mentioned above, I stopped receiving inquiries. Noticed after a few days that business wasn't coming in. What's wrong, I asked? Apparently, there's an annual quota of inquiries they allow into your account. Once you've hit that quota, you have to pay them more! They literally turned off my business and essentially shut my business down without notice or hesitation, and PUNISHED me for being successful. Absolutely unacceptable, and I found another software (Honeybook!) that same day, and transitioned within a week. Saved myself $3000 a year, and have had zero regrets or complaints.

Curate had an attractive and professional UI that made our previous software obsolete.

Nachteile

The fact that they charge you per inquiry/file you create. I was paying $3400 a year for their service, and you get a limited amount of inquiries with your subscription, I believe it was 200 new inquiries. Even if you have to decline the inquiry, it counts towards your quota. So, as a caterer with a busy summer, I could get 10 inquiries for 1 day and only be able to accept 2 of them, but now I've used 1/20th of my annual count for a single day's worth of inquiries. Want to add more? It's going to cost you $200 more for 100 more slots. I moved to honeybook, and pay 1/10 of the annual price for unlimited inquiries. Shame on you, Curate.

The Biggest Time-Saver You Could Hope For

I have loved using Curate and would recommend it to business of all sizes. Another great thing about the software is the wonderful support team that comes with it. They are always up for a quick chat and questions are answered so quickly. That seems so rare these days.

Vorteile

Curate not only streamlined the many processes we used to book clients, but it did so with a beautiful, sophistical, and professional presentation. Before Curate, writing and customizing proposals, chasing down clients to sign pdf contracts, and collecting and processing payment were three completely separate systems - and they ate up so much time. Having one clickable button for each entire event was so organized and streamlined. Using this software really elevated the look and feel of my business. I can't pick a single favorite thing about it... but maybe it's the time saving bit.

Nachteile

I always wished I could add an additional fill-in section to the contract so I could collect clients's credit card info to keep on file. The software does let you create a form to do this but it is sent separately, so clients would easily "forget" to fill that out. If it was part of the contract and had to be completed to be submitted, we could keep that info as a backup plan for those more "easy-going" clients.

Fantastic! Thank you for your fabulous support over the years and the change over from Bloomtrac/Ularus years ago.

.....notes for this form.... 1. it's way too long. 2. we switched form another software that isn't listed but it's a required field to select it... 3. there are too many fields to give star scores on. narrow to a MAX of 4 if you want more people to fill it out.

Pricing is a little high for the very sporadic use we do. I would LOVE it if we could pay for a "1-6" per year just to crank out that handful, because by the time we pay the full use for the full year, it really isn't cost-effective to do so few, and we run other businesses, that don't allow us much extra time to work on more than a couple a year at this phase of life. That is why [sensitive content hidden] was so kind as to migrate us over to the new version just to "pause" so our data won't be lost when we can resume doing a couple a year in normal operational years.

Curate Has It All!

Vorteile

Curate is all encompassing and has everything you need from start to finish. I use it to create proposals and forms, accept payments and contracts, create recipes, keep track of flower orders, etc. It's great to have everything in one place and have everything organized.

Nachteile

Curate is amazing, but it is a little pricier than I would like to invest. It has a lot of features, but maybe too many for what I was needing.

Valuable tool in my floral kit

The time is helpful and available to help. The software is user friendly. I feel professional and I always get good feedback with clients that they find the proposals/contracts pretty, easy to understand and it’s helpful they can sign and pay all at once.

Curate helps us create an awesome client experience

This saves me so much time and has helped us to book new events instead of competitors because of how beautiful the proposals are!

Vorteile

I love how easy it is to use photos so our wedding clients can be confident in their decisions, even without knowing floral jargon! We work with many clients who are planning their celebrations from a distance and this software allows them to be more excited about their choices and selections, even if the haven't seen them in person yet.

Nachteile

The printing options could be more efficient so they don't take up so much paper.

Review

I like Curate but can be very frustrated with it depending on what I am trying to do. I think it has a lot of potential to improve, especially when it comes to creating and adding recipes. The pop up windows for recipes are so hard to use and figure out that even 2 years later I dont use that feature because I keep forgetting how to do it

An amazing system, super helpful for Wedding Proposals.

Vorteile

I love this software a lot, and so do my customers! I have been doing this for years and I don't know how I ever did it without Curate! It's so easy for me to use and put together proposals. I also love how I can update and send it again with changes, but still go back and see past versions so if I make a mistake it is easy to fix. Its seriously an amazing system I love how customizable it is and I would definitely recommend it.

Nachteile

The only thing I could complain about is that the site sometimes take a bit of time to load pictures and pages. Its not horrible but it can be a bit annoying sometimes.

I love Curate!

LOVE IT! Great customer service whenever I have questions or worries or anything!!!!

I love that Curate enables us to really streamline the process from proposal to ordering flowers for weddings! It has made our quality of work improve and our profit margins too!!!!!

Nachteile

I don't like that the software does not notify us of past due payments. We previously used honeybook which would send us email notifications and we've had a few weddings recently where we have had to follow up after the wedding for payments because it was overlooked. As a very busy business it is a bit annoying to have to add reminders for myself to check on payments because for years I was relying on a software to do this for me but now I am having to set reminders to ensure this is not happening so that is a bit of a bummer that such a great software does not have this capability and has added more work for me. Luckily it has reduced my workload in all the other areas though so it is still definitely worth it!!!

A great product for florists!

Being able to order for multiple events is a huge help. I had gone with Curate for that reason but then the​ cost went up. Bloomtrac includes all of the features in one price and as new features are added, the price stays the same.

Vorteile

I have tried a number of different software and at first Bloomtrac seemed intimidating. There is a learning​ curve with all of these products but [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was incredibly responsive and helped me get up and running as quickly as possible. When I left Curate, I knew​ I would have to rewrite all of my proposals in Bloomtrac. What I hadn't anticipated-and hadn't been informed of, was that the proposals I had emailed to clients and to myself would disappear. Fortunately I had printed everything . One​ of the many things I love about Bloomtrac is the ability to truly customize the look of my proposals. This hadn't been possible with Curate.

Nachteile

I am a slow learner when it comes to technology and there is a lot to learn here- with new features on the horizon as well. Looking forward to being​ able to take the time now that wedding season is slowing down to really get a grasp on all that this software has to offer.

Curate or BUST

Vorteile

I LOVE how user friendly this software is, and anything that I haven't been able to figure out on my own the 'chat' option is fantastic. I think the longest i have waited to chat with an actual person was 5 minutes.. MAX. Every single person i have dealt with has been an absolute breeze to work with. (Big shoutout to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] ! She was my first contact with curate and talking with her never felt sales-pitchy or pushy. She had an answer for every question and answered it quickly and confidently.)

Nachteile

When i drag and drop a photo into a section I wish i could pick up the photo and move it rather than having to hit the left or right arrow. I like to show the florals I'm using and i like having them in color order. As an example, if im doing an event that wants all colors of the rainbow, and I accidentally forget an orange flower that is in the proposal when im already on purple it takes an unnecessary amount of time to rearrange the photos. If it were set up like the 'Inspiration' photo section this software would be even more exemplary than it is!

Poor Ethics

At first it was excellent and I supported them fully until they screwed me by taking a feature I signed up for and making it a an upgrade I had to pay $1000 more for a year.

They choose to take away a feature that was part of why I signedup and make it it a upgraded feature I had to pay more for - bait and switch so I left.

An Event Florist's dream software!

saves me so much time and I no longer make mistakes which in turn increases profitability!

Vorteile

This software has changed my life as an event floral designer. I can not say enough great things about it. It saves me hours of work at the computer! Prior to using Ularas I did everything by hand - designs, crunching numbers, you name it. Mistakes were made and now with Ularas I never have that problem. I think my clients are impressed with the overall look and feel of the proposals we provide to them and in turn we book more events. The personal customer service, our rep and her team behind Ularas provides, is outstanding. I can't imagine any other software owner taking any given moment out of their day to help you with whatever you need and personally walk to you through how to work the software. The Ularas team is always listening to my suggestions and feedback and working hard to continue to make the software fit my personal preferences and needs. As long as I'm in the floral design field I plan to be a Ularian for life! ~Treasured Blossoms

This program has changed my life! I know that sounds extreme, but it's true!

I already mentioned this.

Vorteile

The ease of use, intuitiveness, beauty of the output, ability to write notes for the "front of the house"... i.e. the client" and "back of the house"... i.e. our staff, organizational capabilities and price are all on point. the founder, has been invaluable and more helpful than I can say. She helps trouble shoot, is responsive, takes constructive criticism and implements it, and is open to feedback. She also is authentic, relatable, and has a great sense of witticism. Love the program, love the support and would never go back.

Nachteile

There are a few tweaks that could make it easier to add groom or MOB or other clients and timing. Its also so comprehensive that I haven't had a chance to really delve in and push it to the limits (not a bad thing). I just have other more pressing issues.

It's like Having a "tech" right next to you

Time is my biggest issue in preparing professional looking proposals for events. Curate helps keep my time in check. I have been with them over a year & truly enjoy doing proposals. I can do as many as the client needs without having to to "recalc" as the software does it so easily. It even allows me to "take payments" and the end of year work is so much easier.

Vorteile

I am not a computer techie person. I'm an artist (florist). Curate has been a great assistant . The more I ask questions and they answer them so quickly, the more I use the software. Customer service is so great. They walk me through every area I don't understand and make sure I do understand it. I sometime ask the same questions later in the year & they are just fine with that. I can check my questions from before to help me remember the hows.

There are no " least's" with this software. It meets my needs & more.

Amazing tool for floral Designers.

I absolutely love this software!
It's an all in one tool... customers review, approve and pay! It also allows me to create invoices so billing is really easy. I create invoices in advance. Meaning when a Customers approves the contract I create their invoices with payment due dates and options of how to make a payment. So billing is seamless.
I love the recipe tool. It's so easy to utilize when creating a design and it saves time when building the same or similar design.
Tell us about your wedding is an option for New Customers to enter their contact information and tell us about the vision for their event or wedding. Talk about time savior!!
The number one reason to purchase this solftware is the Ulara's Customer Service is amazing!! They go above and beyond to set it up and always willing to help.

Wedding planning for me has become a whole new experience with this software.

The ability to produce a recipe for my bridal bouquets saves me a lot of time.

Vorteile

i like that i can save recipes,shopping lists,exact stem counts,the price integration part and also that i can streamline my business.Love saving the recipes, shopping lists and ability to streamline my business.

Nachteile

Trying to mark an item as paid is a bit difficult and also the fact that it creates a new version of the proposal every time i make a change is frustrating because i can have up to 20 changes to make and having that many versions of changes can be a bit confusing.

A Necessity Not a Luxury

Curate turned profit from a guessing game into a guarantee. The peace of mind that comes from knowing I'm pricing my services correctly was a game changer for my business. All the time I get questions from other professionals wondering how I price or what I would price a design as. It doesn't have to be a guessing game when you can create your own recipes based on accurate market floral prices. The system allows you to set your markups and labor percentage so every recipe accurately tells you what you need to charge. Additionally, the organization curate brings to handling a client from inquiry to event date is unmatched. Curate is my hub AND the clients hub to see everything they need. Pre-drafted emails are ready to go out. Quote templates with all my standard pricing are ready to go. Stems are counted in seconds once I need to order.

Nachteile

I wish the templates were a bit more customizable.

Worst Custmumer Service

Customer service. I contracted a company to do a new website for me. I sent an email and asked questions so that Curate and the new company's software could work together. I took 12 days, and they did not respond. I had to follow up, and they only sent a meeting invite. Some of the questions were simple enough for me to respond.
Then, I had some questions that I could not find on their website's FAQs and "helpful" tabs. Again, they did not respond, so I had to follow up after six days. I asked them to respond as soon as possible, but I didn't get an answer.
They are so nice and responsible to get you in. Then, they don't respond.

Customer service, the system does not tell you if a client has signed the contract. not being able to add useful links of my company into the contract, etc.

Big fan of Curate!

Excellent. I love that the team is always soliciting feedback, and works to implement it to make a better curate. You guys are awesome.

We're long time users of Curate (and have tried out several of the competitors), and have always been big fans of the platform. Curate is easy and intuitive to use, both for the florist and for the client. We appreciate the ease with which we can create a proposal and the flexibility to make customizations. Curate has a polished look that sets us apart from our competitors. In fact, we consistently hear from clients that our proposals just looked better than our competitors.

Nachteile

A couple of ideas:1) delete the pre loaded mayesh product. The stock images aren't great, and the pricing is incorrect for our market. 2) would love a more corporate looking template. Cleaner font, more minimalist design. 3) I would L-O-V-E an e-commerce arm of curate. Currently we use floranext for e-commerce. For florists who do events and retail, it's clunky to have 2 different platforms. 4) Would love a curate ap...especially for our breakdown crews to check in inventory.

Product is great...support is amazing

It's transformed our business. We are utilizing more and more features and have great expectations that it will deliver even more value as we take better advantages of all it offers.

We have loved Curate for the 6+ years we have used it, but just recently have begun digging deeper into features and seeking assistance from the great team in support. They have helped us open up many new functions and features. They are really awesome. AND SO SO timely in their response times.

One of the most important tools in our repertoire

With so many events happening week-to-week, Curate helps keep us from over ordering. Our team can all access our proposals from anywhere for reference when speaking with our clients.

Vorteile

Our team uses Curate every single day to manage our events. It makes our workflow so streamlined and organized. I can't imagine writing proposals any other way.

Nachteile

I wish it were easier to add and update flowers to our "inventory". Prices and stem counts tend to change so frequently, we have to be sure to double check our orders and prices everytime. Also, the multiple recipe function always has issues when inputing an order.

This is the software every florist needs

With Curate, I never feel alone. The customer experience team, from the onboarding, to the free refresher training sessions, to the ability to shoot them a question or comment is always on their game and always so friendly. I have never felt like the company doesn't care; if they don't have an answer they always work to get the answer from another team member. I feel like they are not a stagnant company with unreasonable policies and procedures in place; they are constantly looking to evolve with the clients and meet the needs of clients in order to make the software better.

Vorteile

-Curate is linked to the Mayesh flower library as well as the Floral Supply Syndicate library, which happen to be two of my main wholesalers. I can quickly access up-to-date prices, names, and pictures of the items I plan to use in a client's design. This ability to access these designs make it helpful for when I'm communicating with my wholesaler exactly which item I need
-Ability to add flower pictures and Pinterest board pictures make the proposals visually pretty and help out the clients who aren't so visually creative

Nachteile

The ability to generate a mood board prior to giving clients prices would be amazing!
There is a small mood board and color way layout within the proposals itself but if they were able to be pulled out on their own, prior to having total quantities from clients would be helpful in starting the conversation with the client. Adding recipes and confirming product availability with the wholesaler can be a daunting tasks that holds up the proposal drafting process, and therefore can lead to clients hiring other florists who are more responsive.

What would I do without curate?

I know that I don't use the program to it's full ability... I don't create recipes or or create orders through Curate, which I'm sure, if I ever grew to be a bigger company with multiple employees, I would definitely see the benefit in but how I use it, is perfect for me. As I have been using it for several years, I have had the pleasure of seeing all of the functionality changes that have been made to the program (for example, adding a section for html color codes is such a fun new feature!) I have raved to other florists about my experience with curate and I have heard from clients about how my quotes were night and day from other floral quotes they had received with presentation, the amount of photos for visuals and the level of detail. Once my clients receive and sign off on their quote, they are confident about what they will be receiving on their wedding day and I am always able to recall exactly what the game plan is months after I've written the quote and am getting ready for production/design.

Curate has totally changed the game when it comes to writing clean, beautiful quotes for my clients plus it has saved me so much time. It used to take me hours to write quotes and now I've cut my quote writing time in half. I have had clients book me because they were blown away by the detail, and ease of reading the quote compared to other florists they had spoken to. I love that I have all of my financial reporting in one place here, I use the reports function all of the time, it makes my monthly accounting tasks so easy.

Nachteile

There are a few things I would love to see developed on curate. First of all I would love it if there was an app I could download to my phone. When I'm away from my computer I have to access Curate through my phone's internet browser and it's always a pain to log in and navigate. I would also love to be able to attach external documents to any emails I send through curate. For example, my company has a pdf rental guide that we frequently send to our clients when we send them their proposal. As far as I can tell, there is no way to attach a document to these outgoing emails so I have to send the client a second email with the document and it always seems less clean to me. The less emails my clients get, the better. I'd also love to be able to bold or italicize or underline text in the description boxes (not a big deal but sometimes I need to make a point or draw attention to what is written.

Curate changes the game for us!

Honestly it is a game changer. We used to spend hours creating proposals and having to add/subtract stems and pricing and the software does it for you. It has streamlined our processes and communication with our clients and our wholesaler.

We use curate through the entire process from initial inquiry, contract management, floral proposals, client intake forms and correspondence, receiving payments, floral ordering and creating using the recipes. The real question is is there anything we don't use curate for?

ahhh. I wish I had the option of organizing the event properties to my preference instead of alphabetized.

I probably need a tutorial on the photo upload feature. It is basically a dump all for our inspo. photos over the years. I would like to be able to search them instead of scrolling through tons of photos.

Game Changer, working to perfect

I honestly love this software because I feel like I’m probably making money at what we’re doing for the very first time in three years and I love the fact that it does produce beautiful proposals. There are some quirks but I really believe the company is working hard on makingThose changes and fixes and getting this software faster. I honestly believe it will be perfect very soon. It takes a good bit of time to set up and learn so I do not advise starting in your busy season. It’s a little pricey compared to other software is out there but for the detail that it gives you based on the industry that we are in and how customizable it is very much worth the money.

This software has completely opened my eyes to ordering what I need with little or no wasted product and making the money that we deserve as well as how much we were under charging before this software.

Nachteile

This software can tend to run slow at times and the quantities pre installed are sometimes confusing or need to be changed. When you make changes within a proposal you have to remember that it does not make overall changes to all previously made proposals you must go in line by line and change every proposal that you have open for a change to take affect. This can be kind of frustrating and I have not found an easy fix for this yet. It’s just like any software when you see a problem go fix it immediately or else they will pile up on you and it’ll just make a big mess. Other than that I like the chat feature but sometimes you just want to call and be able to talk to someone. There are a few quirks that you need to remember like anytime you add a payment even though you have a percentage charge for a credit card if you add anything new to her proposal you have to remember all the things that That you have set up for that proposal and go make those changes to any additions. I think they are working hard on this software and it will soon be perfect but there’s lots of things to remember right now.

To your point about making an adjustment to a flower price and it affecting only new proposals, that is correct. We do that to protect all your dozens or hundreds of old proposals from years past to ensure the data is saved appropriately. Can't imagine working without it!

We probably use Curate differently than the majority of your users. We use it for daily arrangements created in a retail flower shop, as well as events. The daily use is amazing. I can have floral designers who do no know anything about the cost of flowers, and they can create arrangements that are spot on for the value. This means I don't have to babysit the designers to make sure they aren't "stuffing" their arrangements and it allows me to feel very confident about my margins and bottom line.

Vorteile

What I like the most about the software is how customizable it is to our exact needs. There seems to be limitless ways to tune it to work for you! Using Curate also gives us confidence in our pricing and value of product - this is so important especially now with price fluctuations being an enormous challenge. Using Curate ensures we are always creating our arrangements and events to value, while constantly keeping an eye on our costs.

Nachteile

There is a bit of a learning curve and some time investment to get it configured exactly so. I know for sure I am under-utilizing the software, just from a lack of time to work within. Some features are a little buried, and others are a little clunky. But it is the best option I have used to date.

Venue management 12 month review

Curate software has provided database that is a move from excel and a quote system .

Vorteile

The system has a nice double layer database that allows for products that are placed into your proposal and the second layer in the database that is the items or recipe can be tied to products . System is well placed for floral industry . Customer service access very high that allows for immediate solutions. This is primarily a quote system based on the database products that does provide above average proposals that are electronic based. The system has an operational back end that provides some limited access to the data.

Nachteile

Curate is expanding it sales outside the floral industry in which the software itself creates it own limitations. The database which has been in redevelopment for the duration of the purchase has issues due to growth over the years. Slowness and work arounds persist. Database information has limited output as there is no API or zapier access. There is little access to the information from the back end operations and little ability to sort information on how it may be printed or output to vendor or other. There is no ability to create a purchase order in the output of the system nor is the products or items tied to vendors in the database. Printing is limited to browser printing capabilities and there is alignment output constraints between electronic version and PDF with respect to reports and PDF proposals. Be aware that there is no trial period on this software and although they say you can pay month to month, the contract is a one year contract. We have reduced the exposure to the software to marketing and sample proposals only at this time until the database information can be expanded for output for vendor or other software api usage. This is not a product that integrates into others at this time.

Curate is a member of the team!

We've been nothing but pleased with our Curate experience. Onboarding was thorough and the system easy to use. The biggest impact Curate continues to make for us is in time. Proposals, shopping lists and recipe writing used to add up to anywhere from 8-10 hours per event. With Curate, we average around an hour and a half, regardless of event size.

Vorteile

Curate has become as important a member of our wedding team as our wholesale department and designers! It allows us to create proposals in a fraction of the time it previously took that are beautiful, transparent and informative.We currently produce between 150 and 170 weddings per year but would recommend Curate even if we did far less for the time savings alone.

Nachteile

We create a production binder for each and every event. Currently, we have to do some hand cutting and pasting to get the best layout for our designers. We would love to be able to click a button and have that all generated for us.

Booking Clients with Ease

It has only been about a month, but we have already book 5 of the 6 proposals we have sent out using this software. Not sure if it's a glitch, but if it's a trend I will be thrilled. Customer service is wonderful; everyone is prompt and friendly and never makes you feel silly. I was maxed out with office work previously and I feel like this has given me back some sense of balance and sanity. Thank you.

Honestly, right now, the all-in-one proposal presentation makes it very easy for clients to 'pull the trigger' so to speak and book us. Looking forward to seeing how the back-end recipe part streamlines my office time.

The only annoyance at the moment is the payment section. I take a flat deposit to hold the date, and then the remaining 50% is due 90 days prior and the final balance is due 10 days prior and there is no way to set up this formula right now. So, every time there is an adjustment to the proposal I have to do quick math on my end to get the numbers correct. Nothing major, but it would be great if there was a way to remedy that.

We couldn't live without it!

Vorteile

This software has made our business run so much more efficiently. We have automated so many tasks that were previously cumbersome and time consuming. But I would give the highest praise to Curate for customer service! The live chat gets us immediate anwers to our questions. There's no pausing a contract proposal and waiting to hours to get your questions answered! I really can't recommend this product enough!

Nachteile

There have been a few items on my wish list over the years. I have submitted my suggestions to customer service and have been blown away by the response. Some feautres were already there and I just needed direction. Others were already in devleopment and some suggestion have been integrated in updates. As of right now, there isn't anything on my wish list. They have us covered from proposal to follow up!

I absolutely loved this B2C software. The ability to create mood boards, preset templates for emails & quotes, being able to capture customer general information from website to system, keep track of inventory and budget, and receive payment definitely saved time, money, and perishable waste. It absolutely got my business on the right track and I advocate every floral business who does wedding & events to invest in Curate! It will alleviate so much of the headache and complexities of the production, so that you have more time to work on your business rather than in it.

Nachteile

I really didn't have any cons. Over time, I have seen significant improvements and I applaud that.

I am obsessed with Curate

I love curate and how it's saved my business so much money. It's also helped diversify my flower choices. If you could also make it possible to search for flowers by color palette that would be awesome.

Vorteile

I love the stem counting and how easy it is to put together a recipe. The proposals are beautiful. I like the payment section too because it's pretty easy and self explanatory.

Nachteile

I desperately need client management for emails. I can't keep track of them so having a section where it's in the client portal including emails back and forth is imperative. Also updating the flower library would be good too since there's new things like dried flowers starting to come out.

BEST EVENT FLORAL SOFTWARE ON THE MARKET

It’s been a wonderful trip. It’s by far the best investment I made in my company. When I first started I spend 4-6 hours trying to figure out how to make a gorgeous proposal. And that was just the proposal. Getting word to work, sizing and moving photos around, fighting with text to be where I wanted it to be. It was the worst. After two proposals I knew something had to change. Little did I know how easy Curate would make the whole process including stem oh tings and placing orders. It’s truly amazing, and the customer service is awesome. I’ve become almost friends with the employees and owner, because they are so easily accessible and active. Over the years I have “played” with other software that friends use, and none have such a straight forward interface, that is almost intuitive to use, or come with the amount of tools and services Curate provides.

Vorteile

Everything! I love the beautiful proposals it creates effortlessly, I love how easy it is to create recipes, and order flowers with a couple clicks of a button. It does ALL their heavy lifting for you. I can pump out a quick proposal in 15-30 minutes or spend hours on one searching for the perfect photos on Pinterest creating a visual masterpiece, but in the end, what the software does is always fast and easy. I love that they are always updating and adding more amazing features.

Nachteile

I use it on my iphone 99% of the time, and it works pretty good, there are some features that work better in chrome and I’d love for those features to work well in safari. I’m sure that will be coming soon

Life Saving Software

Vorteile

As a busy florist, I love that my quotes are at my fingertips on any device, I can easily access payment records, phone numbers, mood boards & my calendar.

I love that it formulates all of my pricing and eliminates any guess work, and the shopping lists and Game plans are amazing!

Nachteile

The only thing is that I cannot have my forms returned to an additional email address. I do have a couple of wedding venues that gather all of the clients information and then deliver it to each vendor as a package, so it would have been great to give them a form that could be returned to both their email address as well as mine.

Saved my life

I love using bloomtrac. I didn't realize all the extra time I was spending writing, re-writing, adjusting, re-calculating proposals until I got this program. It has saved me an immense amount of time, keeps me extremely organized, and looks great when I'm sending it to clients. I have been able to expand my business and feel confident in my pricing by using all the tools available. Also, I can't even tell you how amazing the owner is. She is available for customer support ALL THE TIME. I can send an email asking a quick question, and I have a response within the day. I haven't worked with any other company that offers that kind of support. If you're looking for a proposal program, look no further, this was one of the best investments I ever made!

Can't live w/o Curate!

Super happy with the customer service and the platform. I would recommend 100% :)

Vorteile

Curate is easy to use and they are always trying to make updates and the system more efficient. The program makes the business side more systematic and less emotional when you are pricing your items. this results in more money in your pocket ;) My clients love the overall look and clarity it provides so I am always meeting their expectations.

Nachteile

I wish I could add more pictures to the recipe. I wish it were integrated with QB so I would not have to re-enter numbers for my bookkeeper. Once in a while there is something glitchy, but you guys are always fast to solve the problem.

My clients love the format of my proposals!

Sometimes I consider the monthly payment to be a lot since I am a small merchant. But, Curate allows me to do many things without having additional employees.

Vorteile

It's like having an administrative assistant 24 hours a day. Curate (formerly steam counter) allows me to work on my proposals faster, with attention to every detail. My clients love being able to see photos of the items and decoration items included in their proposal.

Nachteile

I have to work better the distribution of photos in categories and update the products. Sometimes photos take time to upload. It would be nice to be able to work without internet and update after having connection.

Stem Counter Review

I have really enjoyed using this software. I started using this initially as a better tester and have seen it develop and grow. They are working out the kinks and I think anyone using it now will really enjoy the experience, especially as new features are added and developed.

Vorteile

Stem counter has helped me feel more organized in my design process and allows me to keep track with my events and flower orders. When a client has updates or changes I can make them and Stem Counter updates my shopping list and hard goods list at the same time, therefor saving me valuable time and energy. As I become more comfortable in the process I can spit out estimates much quicker based on previous designs and then add more details once someone decides to book. I use it daily and it is a huge and helpful part of how I operate my business.

Nachteile

Since it is a newer product that is continually being developed there are sometimes a few hiccups that occur. However these are solved really quickly and the team is quick to jump on any problems that arise and give you a temporary fix to your problems in the mean time and then often have the solution in a day or two which is not too bad.

Best Decision I Made For My Business

Bloomtrac has been great and saves me so much time. Its easy to use and keeps all event info organized. I am in love with bloomtrac...been with you from the beginning when it was ularas. I don’t use all of the functions but the ones I do have been a game changer. And being able to produce proposals and contracts right at the consultation has made my life SO much easier and increased same day bookings by 100%. Bc before bloomtrac I never got same day bookings bc I had to go back and put all my notes together, now I input everything at consultation. I created a reusable template with the typical info and just plug in the specific details as we discuss their events. I ❤️ Bloomtrac!!!

Vorteile

It automates proposal writing, allows me to write proposals at the time if consultation which increases sales.

Nachteile

I wish I could add optional items at the end in a separate section after the totals. Other than that it pretty much meets all of my needs.
