Über Detrack

Detrack ist es eine leistungsstarke Liefermanagement-Software, mit der du deine Fahrzeuge live auf einer Karte verfolgen und in Echtzeit einen elektronischen Liefernachweis erstellen kannst, einfach mit der iOS-/Android-App. Dein erster Fahrer ist kostenlos – für immer. Die Apps wurden in 26 Sprachen übersetzt und werden täglich für den Abschluss von Millionen von Lieferungen in einer Vielzahl von Ländern eingesetzt. Detrack erledigt nicht nur Lieferstatusaktualisierungen in Echtzeit, die Erfassung von Nachweisen wie die Unterschrift des Kunden, die Zeit der Auftragserfüllung, die Ablehnung oder Unzustellbarkeit von Lieferungen, den Fotonachweis der Serviceerfüllung sondern auch die Automatisierung der Kundenbetreuung. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, das Senden von Texten/SMS an Kunden vor und nach der Zustellung zu automatisieren, ja sogar mit einer Live-Ankunftszeit, wenn der Fahrer auf dem Weg zum Zielort ist.

Lösung für mein Unternehmen!

Ich konnte bisher unsere Fahrern nicht zu 100% glauben wo sie stecken ob Sie im Stau sind oder auf einer Autobahn. Mit Detrack habe ich die volle Kontrolle über unsere Fahrer.

Vorteile

ich bin mit Detrack bisher nur positiv überrascht. Zeit ist wichtig für uns deshalb arbeiten wir mit Detrack die Vorbereitung von Versanddaten, der sofortigen POD-Lieferung an Kunden sind einfach abrufbar. Ich kann sehen wo sich unser Fahrer aufhaltet. Ich kann Detrack nur weiterempfehlen.

Nachteile

Bisher habe ich keine Negativen Punkte gefunden. Ich denke das es auch nichts Negatives gibt.

Good solution at a reasonable price.

Overall its been a good experience and everyone loves the product. I hope they continue to develop it and grow it without hiding everything behind pay walls.

Vorteile

I like the simplicity of use and the cost effectiveness per driver.

Nachteile

The reporting is very basic and wish it was better especially for the premium, its not worth the cost.

Management and Development is not aligned

Detrack act like they are big and can provide a great delivery solution. But it is a waste of time and resources for any e-commerce/delivery business. Especially, if your delivery staff and drives use other mobile devices than android OS or iOS i.e. Huawei OS
It is great that they try to improve their application. But clearly the Management and Development team is not on same page in terms of objectives. Hereto, new releases or new functions have issues or wrong logic i.e. wrong job status and tracking status i.e. "Out for delivery", when it should be "Out for pickup".
Or for multiple parcel pickups the size calculation is wrong. When you report this there can go weeks before you get a respond and they do not fix the issues or communicate that this is not their priority. Leaving their client with an incomplete solution for which they expect to get paid.

Vorteile

The design looks good and they have the basic delivery admin and proof of delivery in place.

Nachteile

Issue with their deployment of updates.
Changing their policies without considering their excising users and potential users on trail i.e. little notice on changes to their subscription/pricing.
Integration is also an issue, as they do not provide any API but third party solution. At the end it was easier for us to create own integration.
Later in the process they suggested webhook, when we address the integration for multilanguage web application.

Detrack is essential for small, growing businesses

We have had very positive experiences thus far with Detrack. Even when encountering issues, they were quickly and expertly addressed by Detrack staff. We have even seen some of our issues resulting in changes to Detrack itself.

Vorteile

We chose Detrack for our small business because it helps us keep organized and makes tracking our trucks simple. It allows visibility for our drivers, clients and customers, which helps keep everyone on the same page.

Nachteile

As we are a small business, we don't have an "IT" department. I wish setting up certain features was simpler, as the UI can be really complicated to the less tech savvy such as myself. For example, I have read through the instructions on how to send emails/texts to customers using the app but we have never utilized the feature due to requiring a third-party program and having to integrate them.

Detrack For Routing our daily Deliveries

Was an easier platform to use than others and the cost and time savings that Detrack has created outweighs and cost of the system itself. A real users system to manage a multitude of vehicls in personalised situations.

Vorteile

The incredible amount of time saved from using a less conventional non platform based system. The ease of use of the system itself and the capabilities that are available to the customer that you never even realised were possible.

Nachteile

The split connection from Detrack to Elastic Routing for optimsing. Other platforms offer an integrated optimization function which is an additional time saver, would be nice for Detrack to have this optimisation for better fleet management.

Detrack TMS Solution

It has simply been great for our current needs.

It has been terrific, love the simplicity and capability. Its functionality leaves very little to be desired in the way of tracking and use.

Very handy tool for our battery collection service

Very satisfied with the software and level of support. Allows me to schedule customer pickup requests and for my contractor to then schedule these with their drivers. The customer & I are then notified when the pickup is scheduled for and then receive a POD when it has been performed. Also sue to bar coded serial numbers on our battery containers being scanned I can track where any of our battery containers have come from in the event of a problem.

Vorteile

Our application of detrack is probably a little left field but we find it invaluable for running our battery collection service. Very easy to setup and use. Provides a great customer experience with notifications as to when we are going to perform their collection and deliver a replacement battery container and send them a POD once the job has been done. Based on the bar coded serial numbers on our containers I can track which customer site a containers has come from if there are any issues.

Excellent Delivery Management System

I have been using Detrack for the management of deliveries for my Florist business for many years now. It has really helped to improve the delivery part of my service. By using Detrack we have a much more efficient system with excellent record keeping. I am now starting to work with Detracks companion software Elasticroute for route planning, particularly at busy peak periods. Both systems work seamlessly together and have provided me with a very good overall experience. When I do need any help with setup or queries, I have found Detrack support to be excellent every time. Overall Detrack is an excellent product.

Vorteile

Very easy to use by administration and drivers, helps to keep our deliveries organized with real-time delivery information. Has excellent data import and job search capabilities.

Nachteile

None - all aspects of the software works very well.

Detrack best despatch software, Proof of delivery with sign on glass.

Vorteile

We have multiple warehouses, our own and third party deliveries, with remote admin and with Detrack we know where our goods are, who is delivering them, and then finally proof of delivery tightly controlled and stored.
Clever, agile, easy to use.
It makes us look ahead of our game, keeps tight despatch control, with POD's at our fingertips at all times.
Controls the drivers, we can even see their phone battery level, and call them to tell them to charge their battery!

Nachteile

There is nothing that we do not like about detrack.

Perfect to track Hand delivered Legal Documents

Overall it meets our needs.

Vorteile

That it GPS tracks where the package was left and who it was handed to.

Nachteile

The format is frequently changing and the screen does not always update in real-time when more than one user are using it from multiple computers or phones. There is a delay that often requires closing out the site or app and refreshing.

Solid platform

Great product. Rarely do we ever have issues with use or functionality. Good price. Prompt support.

Vorteile

Detrack solved our needs, and did so easily with prompt support to get us there.

Nachteile

Due to privacy (which I understand), we can't internally close out someone else's delivery without losing the photos taking of the product before it left the shop.

Bakery delivery solution

So far the service has been really good, and any help required is provided within hours,

Ability to generate simple run sheets, and the interoperability with Elastic Route to plan runs for drivers.

Nachteile

Ideally, Detrack would have it's own integrated mapping software for route planning. Having to use another app (Elastic Route) can be a bit painful, and creates some challenges when orders change.

Detrack use as a proof of collection review

It's a nice little system, cost effective but has limitations which we are finding are more and more restrictive as our business grows. We use Detrack for our waste management company (proof of collection), so I feel we miss out on a lot of the POD functionality. I think there is real scope to develop the system further for collectors with regular customers.

Vorteile

It is very cost effective, easily to add users and the interface is easy to use for drivers and managers.

Nachteile

No backward and forward integration with Xero - need the ability to bill regular customers for the total number of jobs completed for them over a period (ie a month).

Abilities to manage regular customer schedules within the system (rather than uploading from a spreadsheet).

No ability to add photos to each job for the drivers to see.

No ability to add set items/descriptions with pricing for each item and regular customer.

Reporting functionality is very basic. More can be gathered from exporting data to Excel.

does the job well. driver got accustomed to the app feature very quickly.

Simple App & Manual (used to be). drivers are accustomed to the app feature very quickly, and i like the previous manual/ documentation. straight to the point, i can see whats available. but now the manual list is not easy to find.

Nachteile

- the customer service experience is bad. since detrack outsourced it, the response is slow and they do not know technical and acted like messengers only. "I'll check with the technical team" is a common answer, and long wait time makes it worse.
but this problem is prevalent for a larger corporation. meaning it'll only get worse through time.
- rising prices.

Could Work Better for Trades

I like the ability to customize the fields, but further configuration would make this a great choice for other trades-related businesses (plumber, locksmith, electrician, etc).

The customer always is updated about our status.

Nachteile

It's not very customizable. I don't need the Pickup and Delivery tabs. We are not a delivery service. We are a trades company and use this to schedule and inform our customer where we are. This could be customized to service businesses and it would be a great feature for the other trades.

about 3 months use

customer service is fast, but they seem to be inexperienced with food catering app or business because there are key items missing such as organizing the orders, they will not sort by date or time.

its basic but either the price needs to go down or the features that are available need an overhaul. not more features, but the features need to be updated.

Nachteile

method of data entry, app is bloated with too many "confirmations", "live" tracking is off, nothing gets sorted by date or by time so drivers are always confused. have to manually let drivers know which order is first on the list.

Great Product, easy to use and great price

Great service, they reply to any question very quickly.

Vorteile

Easy to use, very intuitive, extremely easy to train a new driver.

Nachteile

When you send a pre delivery text, the time that Detrack provides is soo far off. In some cases, we are 10 minutes away and Detrack has it at 3 hours. We then edit that text every time.

We like it alot because we get what we want.

Easy to use and entries to complete each order is straightforward. All necessary standard information are sufficient to provide end of day . Able to extract and made billing smooth.

Nachteile

columns are unnecessary too wide and if we have alot of columns on screen, we have to reduce font which made it too small. It's not user-friendly in this manner.

Good Transportation Management

I think overall it is decent. There are a couple of nuances like two orders with the same number not being flagged and being able to see email log as well that could be improved but overall this software gets it done!

Great Live tracking app

Vorteile

Easy to use app, very user-friendly and efficient.

Love using Detrack

We like the Tracking system and POD are very efficient

Good but needs some improvements

For the price it's good. Love the help on onboarding so far.

Vorteile

Easy setup. Responsive and helpful onboarding team. Affordable to start with a small fleet.

Nachteile

Collection is a secondary feature as compared to Delivery. Makes things confusing sometimes. Reports formatting don't quite make sense. The 2 week trial is not enough to onboard anything so have to pay to setup.
