Exactly what we needed...following up.
We are a small Saas team, selling in the education sector. We (sales team of 1) are in touch with thousands of potential customers. From cold leads to re-signing customers.
Close allows us to contact cold leads in bulk, move them through our sales funnel and most importantly they MAKE US FOLLOW UP! Following up has had a huge effect on our business.
Data entry is greatly reduced, integrations are great. Highly recommended

Close.io really helps to keep track of your deals.
I've compared two Sales CRM, SalesforceIQ and Close.io. Although salesforceiq makes it really easy to create opportunities I find it much easier to follow up on opportunities within close.io.
Overall for the long run close.io
Vorteile
Sending emails from within the close.io app is easy, following up on opportunities is also easy. I my mind these are the most important tasks in a salesman day to day job. Information flow it ordered nicely within the opportunity. Overall great experience.
Nachteile
I find the flexibility of customization a bit lacking. Would like to separate leads from accounts. And have a more visual view of opportunities funnel.

Easy integration and superb service
We use close.io for our customer facing sales processes, started out with two sales agents and now scaled up to more than 40 while constantly adding features around close.io using their API. Close.io was easy to integrate into our processes for it is simple enough and yet let's you configure/adapt just as much as it makes sense in an early startup phase.

Ideal for direct email marketing
When I was doing direct email marketing, close.io made it so easy to feed in a ton of contacts, automate sending out personalized emails, then track who responded, who didn't, and keep moving people down the funnel. If you're doing email marketing, you need a tool like this just to manage everything you've got going on, and so that you can track follow up with people and really close more deals. Everyone I dealt with at the company was great too, and even the founder is reachable.

Best CRM I've Ever Used
After using Close for two unrelated startups of different sizes and markets, it has come to be my absolute favorite CRM out there because of how flexible, easy to use, powerful, and reliable it really is.
Vorteile
The Mac platform is incredibly well done and easy to use.
Uploading leads is easy and flexible.
Lead configuration is dynamic but not overwhelming.

Great tool
If you're dealing with a bunch of lead data and need an easy way to manage those leads, this should be your tool! Highly recommend it. I particularly like the easy and quick filter + export.

Thank you Close.io!
Close.io was exactly what we needed right when we needed it. We strive to hit 80 outbound dials every day (per salesperson) and we are able to do that with close.io. With that type of call volume we must also be able to keep up with opportunities, emails, etc. and close.io is definitely up to the task. Support is by far the best I've seen and I've thrown some complex stuff at them.

Very solid. Meets all of our startup needs and handles all aspects of a company trying to achieve a high call volume.
Nachteile
None that I can think of. Sometimes the reporting is a bit off, but the support folks quickly handle any issues.

Lightweight but powerful
Close.io is lightweight but powerful. The customized fields and search features create a robust filter that is essential for quick organization. The tool Integrates really well with Gmail and a plethora of other day-day applications.
Close.io helps me stay organized so I can focus on maintaining and building relationships with my clients.

Close.io Rocks
Close.io has been a major improvement over our last CRM tool (Salesforce). Our reps are happier because there's less work on their end and management is happier because all key metrics are captured within. It's also a lot easier to find, assign and manage opportunities. The interface is clean and compelling with all the key information at hand. We're big fans.

Great CRM
I’ve tried many CRMs. There are those that have all the features you want and more, but when you use them… it just slows you down. Then there’s Close.io - it lacked some functions I thought I needed, but it satisfied expectations I didn’t know I have. It’s a completely different experience from any other sales software I’ve ever used, and I can’t imagine going back to other systems.

Close.io Review
We started with a free trial (2 weeks) and recently upgraded to the professional edition. Most important to us was that we have a flexible CRM with a lot of Search Combinations where we can enter the different stages of our clients. Close.io is made for sales teams and their customer support is very responsive too.

Great App
Love it. This app allows our team to be very productive with cold prospecting. It also makes it very easy for the team to follow our system.

BEST CRM I have ever used.
Close.io has improved our workflow and helps us to never drop the
ball on a lead. Their search queries are sales magic - we can
quickly create lead lists for highly-targeted outreach campaigns.
Prior to Close.io, this required days of sorting through our
database. Now it’s a couple of clicks. It’s simply the best piece
of sales software out there - hands down!

Best modern CRM for startups
We've tried several different CRMs for our startup and ultimately chose close.io. In our experience, it is the best, modern CRM product on the market for inside sales teams.

Best sales platform I've ever used
I used to represent one of the top sales platforms available. This is better. This is so much better than by a minute and a half into their intro video I knew that I would buy. They solve every pain I was experiencing with tools before them.
Vorteile
Integrated Voip, integrated email, automated reminders...basically every cool feature I didn't even realize I wanted, they've got it.
Nachteile
Need some better integrations with email marketing platforms. The best option for non-gmail users is DripEmails.com and they're not very intuitive.

You would be insane not to give it a free trial
Have used everything – Salesforce, InfusionSoft, Pipedrive, Sugar, etc. At some level, they were all awesome, and at another level, all of them sucked at something important. After signing up for a free 14 day trial, I happily pulled out my credit card and signed on for $660/month for our (4) users after using it for just a few days. And we had just signed on for a competitive solution only 4 months earlier.
Now, after using Close.io for a couple of weeks, the positive impact on our business has been profound. Since all calls and emails go through the system, the reporting is real-time and automatic for salespeople. Our sales staff loves it, I love it, and as long as it keeps working the way it is, we expect to be customers for a long time.
P.S. Responses from support are typically within the hour. So far, I'm very impressed.

Power behind it's simplicity
Close.io it's so simple and easy to learn that there is where the power is. If you have some sense of what your sales funnels is then just load up your leads, create lead statuses for each step of your funnel and make sure they're set as your smart views and BAM! you're ready to take on the world.

Best CRM for Startups
I've used Salesforce, Highrise, Pipedrive, and Close.io, and Close.io is by far the best CRM for startups. It allows you to focus on actual selling rather than data entry, by syncing with Google Apps in an intelligent fashion.

Excellent support, great founders, great desktop app for Mac, and very easy to use plus onboard team members with.

I've evaluated a lot of CRM's and Close.io is one of my absolute favorites. If you need to make a lot of calls their dialer and integrated telephony features are some of the best available.
Nachteile
Pretty Expensive especially if you already have another VOIP provider. Unless something has changed recently you miss out on a lot of standard VOIP features like a virtual attendant. Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Marketing, etc.

Greatest sales tool out there
When we had the choice between Salesforce and Closeio, the latter was a no brainer after going through both trial periods. For us its the cleanest and slimmest sales tool that has all the functionality you need for a multi-country launch. Since we're very focussed on tech, the easy to use rest api with several wrappers for all major languages is also a big plus. Can only recommend.

The best friend of your sales department
I think it can work wonders in large organizations where sales departments are bigger and more structured. I really like the tool.

Close.io is a machine for sales, it helps wish sales workflow and outbound. It is user-friendly and gives everyone some transparency of information - even people out of sales department can understand processes.

Great App
Close IO is awesome. It allows us to track and measure all the important KPIs of our sales team. We currently have teams in 2 countries and it allows us to see what is working and what isn't in order to improve our sales in an iterative, data driven way.

Very easy to use, allows for unlimeted inbound and outbound calls. Tracks everything without the need of data input.

A great tool for Start-ups
We switched from one CRM to Close.io, well there is no doubt that close.io is far superior. It help us to get organised and keep track not only of our sales channels but as well on key individuals.
So far we didn't see a tool that could match the usability and efficiency of Close.io
And the customer service is great and super effective!

"They're just so...good!"
We have been shopping for a CRM for far too long. Then Kevin and Close.io got our attention. We have had nothing but above and beyond conversations that can only be described as authentic. I typically can't stand the sales process, but something about the honesty took the sting out of the experience. When you hang up the phone after a call and collectively agree, "They're just so...good," it's a great feeling. The product itself is loaded with the features our business needs as we grow. We're looking forward to finding out just how accurate their tagline is...If we, in fact, close more deals and make more sales, we all win. With the powerful features at our fingertips, and so many great integrations, we think our sales team will see great results.

Close.io has made it so much easier to manage our leads! The smart bulk email templates have been especially useful; they allow sending cold emails to be efficient, but still personal. Customer service has also been really great; within just a few days of starting the free trial I was directly contacted by one of their team members who was happy to answer any questions. The automatic email integration is fantastic; it syncs instantly with my Gmail account so it is easy to switch back-and-forth without missing any information. Great product all around!

Dare I say It's Fun?
If you're organized and you'd like to pass that along to other coworkers, this is a great piece of software. It's easy to add fields for customers and leads, keeping pertinent information accessible for all entries. That information is easily trackable, with a great search tool that will find absolutely any query by searching across all entries.
Vorteile
The search bar makes finding ANYTHING very quick and easy. Also, the ability to see emails between colleagues and leads/customers. It's a great tool for support teams.
Nachteile
I love the organization of Close.io, but there are so many possibilities to keep track of, it can be overwhelming.

Great App and supper intuitive
When we were starting Angeloop.co, we were looking for a CRM platform that would help us track our investors as we bring them through our funding funnel. We tried several other CRM's and found ourselves more involved with programming the CRM rather then spending the time to find investors and close.io them (little founder humor). When I heard that Zenefits started out with Close.io, I knew that I had to give them a try. Once I did, I fell in love with how easy and responsive they made their CRM. Also, they are purely client (revenue) funded, which tells me that they are very confident about their product.
Vorteile
You don't have to be a a rocket scientist to know how to use Close.io, unlike other CRM's, i.e. SalesForce.
Nachteile
Inserting images into emails requires that the image is hosted online, otherwise, you can cope and paste an image from another program.

Precisely what we were looking for
Our business sits somewhere in between B2B and B2C and we needed a sales platform to reflect this. We didn't want a product suitable for engaging tens of thousands of small-ticket users; but at the same time, we are managing several hundred relationships. Our processes revolve around relationship management and email; and Close.io solves our challenges wonderfully. Simple and easy to use, with some sensational features (in-build bulk email, recoding contacts, searching, automatic logging)
Vorteile
The automation of recoding activity is the best thing about this product - it is all about reducing time and reducing clicks.
Nachteile
There are a few feature still missing - like adding a task not attached to a contact and also the recoding of customer support conversations (e.g. through a Live Chat App)

Great CRM!
We used Close.io to help us with outbound B2B SaaS cold calling. It is an excellent tool for this. Very well designed and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

The best affordable CRM application on the market !
I have been testing plenty of CRM applications in the last 4-5 months. Some of them were overkill for my business, loaded with plenty of tools i’d never use. Others were extremely cumbersome and for some of them I had more work entering data into the CRM application and keeping it up to date (by copying, pasting, retyping etc).
But this one rocks!
Close.io is an extremely intuitive application. Everthing works the way it should, without any hassle, no problems, no retyping data etc. Without frustration.
For me, it’s been a great help to get things done easier, faster smarter.
Stop looking for a better solution than this one. Just try the trail version and see for yourself how intuitive it is.
Don’t make the same mistake I did… searching and trying software which in the end doens’t fulfill yours needs.

Finally a CRM meets all my requirements
Close.io is solving all of my issues. Being in contact with an increasing amount of costumers, it gives me an overview about all my communication, and more importantly, about the communication that needs to be done. Moreover, it enables me to work from wherever I want to: A reliable internet connection is everything I need.

Within 2 days of using Cloze it had delivered a ton of value—recommending I reach out to a friend I hadn't spoken to in 4 weeks, reminding me to call a client because I'd committed to them in an email (but never scheduled the call), and autofilling all the most painful parts of a CRM: your contacts and orgs. Awesome product
Nachteile
The UX/design of the website is starting to get a little annoying. They need to improve how info is displayed to make it less cluttered.

Great CRM that is growing
Close.io has been great to work with. They have some really solid features and are coming out with more all the time. There would be a few things I would change, but it is simply preference. Very responsive when it comes to supporting and they shoot you straight with whatever might be going on. If you don't have the budget for SalesForce, this is a great alternative.

I love the integration of e-mail and phone, as well as the great e-mail templates. Close.io has made it much easier to send out customer mails after phone calls. Looking forward to new features!
