Rather than typing cross-reference information into a form, you can now upload cross-reference data for example from an Excel spreadsheet directly into the form. You will update your software frequently, usually two to three times a year. While that can be a hustle it on the other hand means you are getting new features like the ones mentioned above. So that makes up for it. > > Overall MapForce is a great tool to convert data from one format to another, with support for many common file formats. In the three years we have used the software we set up multiple transformations using MapForce and automated them with the use of Altova's FlowForce Server.
