Great ATS Software - made better with Cloud Service

I've been using Taleo for years now. The ability to really customize according to corporate structure has been the main reason why companies I've worked for have chosen Taleo.

The added Cloud Service feature ensures that all of the features and data are made available from anywhere at any time.

I highly recommend!

Taleo - Onboarding and Recruitment experience

+ Easy to implement and customize fields, selection lists
+ Hardly any downtime - close to a 100% uptime
+ TCC is a very powerful data tool
+ BI integration is good

- Configuration cannot be copied from staging to production
- Input masks for data collection need to be stronger

I've used kenexa, vurv and TAM (peoplesoft) and Taleo seemed like most robust of all of them.

the pros: it's cloud based, Taleo exchange has an extremely active and helpful community like OHUG.

The cons: it can take a while before your enhancement request gets considered, the current platform is still very slow to navigate. I'm looking forward to seeing the new platform!

Oracle Taleo

Taleo is a massive recruiting based software. I have used it for about 4 years now and it can definitely have its pros and cons. Pros: fairly easy to use, disposition of candidates, large candidate database.

Cons: Tough to configure, integration's can be difficult

Good if rolled out properly

In order to use Taleo Successfully you really need to do your homework and Have an implementation Specialist dedicated to building you process in taleo.

After that the product is pretty good. Thy have put more in place tpoassist with knowledge sharing and training.

Good ATS

I have been a Taleo ATS user for about a year & a half and am quite satisfied with it. It's user-friendly and accomplishes what it sets out to do (keeping track of applicants and keeping recruiters organized). Would be happy to use it elsewhere at other employers.

Worst recruitment software

Worst :(

It does a good job.

Love/Hate

Have worked with Taleo on the systems side since 2005.

The software is robust and has a lot of features but at times upgrades are painful. Have to test and retest all phases of upgrades to ensure that other features aren't impacted.

Good platform for cloud users

It is one of the best platforms in its own type. The basic feature is the best part of this, the security threat is also not present in this application.

Usable Cloud

Well if u asked me to choose any cloud. Platform i would go google drive anytime.
But over this and icloud i prefer this

Perfect for sorting through candidates

Great Cloud Service

Oracle Taleo Cloud Service is user friendly. Customer service is a little harder to deal with but overall would highly recommend.

Fast, easy, affordable, and flexible

Pros: Easy to configure, lots of functionality, good work flow options
Cons: user interface is a little outdated.

Taleo has its issues just like any other software but it's ease of use and features outweigh any issues.

I use Taleo everyday as a Recruiting Coordinator.

This system is easy to use. I've done training on how to navigate through the system with my campuses.

Reporting purpose

Was easy to navigate theu the workflow

Cons: has to use to lot of fields for basic reporting

Invest in what you need

Our company will not invest enough money in this ATS, therefore do not get what we need.

Raleigh implementation

it's clunky to set up. Much have we db to manage any info. Recruiting can be a lot easier.

Maybe there's better, maybe not

Not user friendly from recruiter standpoint for posting jobs...almost too many features

This product provides all the capabilities one could want in a recruiting application.
