Handy BI Tool
I do rely on this software quite a bit to extract my information.
Vorteile
Sap BI warehouse is great to pull out data required for processing and analysing. It allows you to filter and cut information before it is exported.
Nachteile
It can be a bit clunky to use and slow at times. It is an old piece of software however there are faster alternatives.

Overall, SAP is great for a logistics and scheduling job.

Business Object the best BI visualization tools
In a previous experience working with a consulting company for seven years, we delivery Business Objects in differentes companies.
I think is a very complete BI suite, with a extense range of tools for extract, modeling and analyze data. The potential benefits of business Objects programs include accelerating and improving decision making; optimizing internal business processes and increasing operational efficiency

Support is really weak.

The ability to navigate through the product is just amazing. Its easy for anyone to get a hang on and use the product.

Great tool for reports
BusinessObjects is all about making it easy for end users to create their own reports. Once your data is set up in the Universes, it's drag and drops on to the report. you can format it with colors or different fonts. Simply drag whatever dimensions you want onto the report and then create different filters or formulas to get the desired results. Super simple for users to get the reports they need.

Very powerful BI tool, but not very user friendly
Vorteile
The set of tools for BI it includes is good. We used just WEBI. It is really powerful for Data extraction purposes and we could match our information needs without much problems.
Nachteile
I feel that the WEBI interface is not very user friendly. At least for our type of reports. The navigation through the different reports was not smooth enough.

It has also various functionalities where you can send the updated report directly to the users email with latest data. You can also personalise the data dependending on the user and it's role.
It provides mobile as well desktop solution for analysing the data.

Vorteile
You can manage a lot of documents and information for many people and make printables. This information can be use in many areas at the industry.
Nachteile
Its a little dificult to change the position of the fields and the titles as well. some times the information can last a few minutes to be printed.

Easy to use for a Big Companies, structured, modular, interconnected.
Structure in a robust and discriminated online way the daily information of the company (Sales, Purchases, Revenue, Exits, etc.)

Easy to genenate reports, ease of modeling the integrated databases in order to obtain the required information.
Nachteile
Costs of maintenance, help support (Chat, e-Mail, Phone line), the user modules in a few times presents updates that slow the diary operation.

It's great for sharing reports with other users since you can view it in your browser. This makes it very nice since you know they'll see exactly what you're seeing.
Nachteile
Takes some time to learn it. Not a lot of learning resources. It really takes some time to Google and find what you're looking for

All features of SAP BO product suite are very good . admin tasks in BO CMC are very user friendly. design studio is best suited for analytics and SAP crystal reports 2015 is designer for developing perfect pixel reporting. Well defined process for customer support for SAP BO suite. all in all its very good for business enhancement.

SAP User Friendliness
Overall SAP is a very useful system. There is a ton of modules we are not taking advantage of with SAP. SAP is an easy system to use to create BOMS, ROUTINGS, COSTING, Etc. It is user friendly, but there is a lot more we need to learn about the system.

Excellent tool for Analytics
SAP BO/BI 4.1 is Excellent tool for Analytics Feature & functionality wise. We can easily make analysis base on BW/HANA & RDBMS database.
In BI 4.2 SAP has provided very good Feature as Parallel query execution, Recycle bin, Commenting & Shred element.

Solid. Reliable.
Business Objects have been around as a proven reporting front end. It falls in the middle of the road as far a reporting tools go, but the big plus is you know what to expect and SAP isn't going away any time soon.

Really enjoy using Business Objects from SAP for my reporting tools. Has a ton of features that are available that I have yet to use!
Nachteile
I would highly recommend to at least read the manual or get some formal training on how to fully leverage the tool because there is a lot that needs to be covered.
