IMHO, the price is huge. Maybe because I'm not a professional translator and don't use it as much in my work, but monthly subscription to be more than ChatGPT - for me it's too much to pay for translator app.

En tant que chargé de communication, ma mission consiste à communiquer avec toutes types de clients peu importe leur nationalité. Grace à DeepL, je fais des traductions dans la version proprement dite de langue et je communique avec eux sans gène. Aussi, la chose magnifique est que je traduis les fichiers, documents complets dans le logiciel sans modification des caractères et des formats du doc. Vraiment, je vous recommande ce logiciel pour vos traductions.

A mon égard, ce logiciel n'a pas de défaut à moins que la personne utilise la version gratuit parce que le gratuit limite le nombre de mot et signe aussi les documents en haut des pages.

The shortcuts for translating specific words quickly and the screen capture translation functions are brilliant. Being able to specify the style of language (formal or informal) as well as being able to set up a glossary for industry specific terms or local jargon and expressions really helps.

Would be nice to be able to upload PPTs and PDFs larger than 5GB. POTs are often so large with rich media that this limit is low.

Il software DeepL Pro mi ha salvato letteralmente la vita con le sue traduzione sempre corrette e contestualizzate nei testi che io utente digitavo. E' un software fondamentale per chi deve tradurre termini appartenenti ad una lingua straniera, è rapido e semplice da utilizzare per chiunque. E' un software che può essere utilizzato su più dispositvi e permette di ottenere dell traduzioni molto precise.

Non ho riscontrato particolari difetti tranne una volta che il software ha avuto un bug momentaneo senza potermi offrire la traduzione da me desiderata, per il resto è un software davvero utile.

Questo software di traduzione è semplicemente fantastico. Usato come supporto per tradurre testi di diverso tipo e con toni diversi, è bellissimo vedere che riesce a scegliere il lessico adeguato al tono del testo e a rendere un testo tradotto fluido e di solito corretto. Con testi che presentano un linguaggio professionale molto specifico è consigliato fare qualche verifica in più, ma per la mia esperienza i testi semplici vengono tradotti senza errori.

Non si può suggerire una nuova traduzione per un determinato termine e salvarla, sarebbe comodo.

Tra i software di traduzione che ho usato, decisamente il migliore. Le traduzioni sono ottime e suonano 'naturali' e fluide nella lingua di target. Le uniche modifiche che ho fatto riguardavano termini precisi o parole che dovevano rimanere nella lingua originale (ad esempio terminologia specifica, o 'buzzwords').

Sarebbe ottimo poter ricaricare un file tradotto una volta rivisto, di modo che il sistema possa 'memorizzare' la traduzione di certe parole - o con riferimento al proprio accounto, o anche come training material per migliorare il livello di traduzione. Così si eviterebbe di tornare continuamente a cambiare le stesse parole.

Considero que ofrecen una lista bastante pobre de idiomas a seleccionar. Con respecto a sus competidores, 29 idiomas (siendo que existen 7.100 aprox. en todo el mundo), es muy poco y nos obliga a buscar otras opciones.

I am a expat in Germany and living since 3 years. I use Deepl to translate documents, images text as well as recordings. Initially as a student I use the normal version of Deepl which is free of cost and helps me a lot. After getting job into Schaeffler, I started using the pro version of the translation application. It helps me to write my reports and presentations and also it check my grammar thus it is an two in one software for me. To learn a language is quite difficult thing but to learn via such Platforms I'd quite interesting. My proficiency of German is actually getting better after using Deepl Pro.

Nachteile

Irrelevant notifications to get Deepl pro is annoying for me in my initial stages. I think that should be repaired as some of the students or professionals don't need pro version. A free version for all people should be available without any disturbance.
