Vorteile

Bislang ist es das am einfachsten zu bedienende Werkzeug, und ich benutze es schon sehr lange.
Slack ist bequem und flexibel. Man kann es verändern und so einrichten, wie es für einen selbst am besten funktioniert. Es lässt sich mit vielen anderen Softwares und Tools integrieren, was es leichter macht, ein zentrales Informationsmanagement-Tool zu werden.
Ich mag den freundlichen und spielerischen Geist.

Nachteile

Slack könnte das Manko haben, dass es manchmal inflationär verwendet wird. Manchmal werden zu viele Informationen geteilt, die dann verloren gehen können. Insbesondere beim Teilen von Dokumenten.

Vorteile

Einfache und schnelle Kommunikation, effiziente Organisation, Flexibilität bei der Nutzung, benutzerfreundlich

Nachteile

Durch die Vielzahl an Nachrichten und Benachrichtigungen kann Slack Teams manchmal von der eigentlichen Arbeit ablenken.
Während die Basisversion kostenlos ist, sind viele erweiterte Funktionen wie unbegrenzte Suche oder größere Speicherkapazitäten nur in den kostenpflichtigen Plänen verfügbar, die für größere Teams teuer werden können.

Vorteile

Slack ist super leicht anzuwenden und erlaubt es uns schnell zu kommunizieren via schreiben oder Slack Call -> Können dann sogar unseren Bildschirm teilen und Probleme oder sonstiges sofort angehen.
Für Homeoffice oder Office -> Jedes Unternehmen benötigt ein Tool zu kommunizieren und auch zum Senden von PDFs und Co in Echtzeit - wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Nachteile

Das Interface hat sich vor Kurzem geändert und mir hat die UI nicht so gefallen - ist jetzt mit der Gewöhnung besser geworden und man hat sich dran gewöhnt.

Vorteile

Die Software funktioniert auf Windows PCs stabil. Die Huddles und Listenfunktionen sind sehr nützlich.

Nachteile

Auf Android Phones ist diese Software leider nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Seit cirka 3 Wochen ist die Software funktionslos auf einem Großteil der 40 genutzten Geräte welche Android 13 nutzen. Der Support ist in dieser Hinsicht nicht hilfreiche und vertröstet nur mit Phrasen.

Vorteile

Sehr zentrale Kommunikation in Echtzeit und man kann sich in vielen Channels organisieren und bleibt auf dem Laufenden. Es ist auch sehr leicht zu bedienen und man kann auch die mobile Version nutzen.

Nachteile

Ab und zu treten Probleme beim Huddeln auf, dass man mittendrin einfach nichts mehr hört und das Huddle nochmal betreten muss. Ansonsten eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln.

Vorteile

Einfachheit Bedienung und Installation. Auf jedem Gerät nutzbar. In und ausserhalb der eigenen Organisation einsetzbar.

Nachteile

Keine günstige Lösung. Es besteht die Gefahr, dass Know How im Tool versinkt, daher müssen klare Nutzungsregeln festgelegt werden.

Super einfache Anbindung an andere System für Push-Nachrichten.

Nachteile

Ich finds leider nur noch verwirrend. Es geht total viel durch. Gerade wenn Kollegen es nicht einheitlich nutzen. Kein richtiger Connect zu Terminen und Telcos, gerade wenn man viel Extern macht

Vorteile

Mir gefällt bei Slack die intuitive Benutzeroberfläche. Das macht es einfach mit Kunden und Kollegen zusammen zu arbeiten. Des Weiteren schätze ich es sehr, dass man in verschiedenen Kanälen chatten kann und sowie Apps und Dateien nahtlose in Slack integrieren kann.

Nachteile

Die Informationsflut in Slack kann manchmal eine große Herausforderung sein und somit schnell mal Nachrichten übersehen werden. Ein Kritikpunkt wären die Kosten. Einige Funktionen sind nur in kostenpflichtigen Plänen enthalten, was kleinere Teams oder Unternehmen möglicherweise einschränkt.

Man kann super mit seinem Team kommunizieren und das Tool auch mit anderen Programmen verbinden

Natürlich die guten Möglichkeiten, einfach verschiedene Gruppen für gezielte Kommunikation zu erstellen.

Der Huddle könnte etwas mehr Liebe vertragen.

Super einfach, sich mit seinen Kollegen auszutauschen. Einfacher Exchange von Files. Super viele Integrationsmöglichkeiten ermöglichen super Einbettung in Prozesse und hilft diese zu automatisieren.

Nachteile

Das Pricing bzw. die Paketgestaltung könnten etwas besser sein!

Nach 2 Jahren Nutzung wurde ich benachrichtigt, dass die Daten nicht mehr gespeichert werden können und ich musste eine alternative Software finden.

Ich finde es gut wie schnell man mit allen in Kontakt ist. Das man Datein sich schicken kann. Gruppen erstellen kann und mal schnell eine Videotelefonie oder Konferenz machen kann

Ich mag die Option Hubbel nicht, das verpasse ich immer schnell ein anruf oder Einladung, weil das nicht so schön klingel als wenn ich ein Slack anruf mache

Slack ist ein zuverlässiger Partner in Sachen interner Kommunikation mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen. Das Teilen von Informationen, ein kurzer Anruf bei Kolleginnen und Kollegen oder das Anlegen von Gruppenchats und Channeln ist unproblematisch möglich.

Nachteile

In größeren Organisationen mit viel Kommunikation kann Slack dazu neigen, unübersichtlich zu sein. Informationen müssen dann über die Suchfunktion herausgefunden werden, was mitunter aufwendig ist.

Vorteile

Slack ist ein einfaches Tool für die schnelle Kommunikation. Alle Nachrichten werden gebündelt und in einzelnen Projekten gespeichert, sodass gut darauf zurückgriffen werden kann.

Nachteile

Nachrichten, welche älter als 90 Tage sind werden nun seit kurzem ausgeblendet.

Sehr schwer manchmal einen Thread zu finden, manchmal werden die Nachrichten übersehen.

Slack ist für uns das unverzichtbare interne Kommunikationstool, für alle Aufgaben im Alltag. Durch die vielen Verknüpfungen mit anderen Tools ist es gut integrierbar und läuft auf allen Geräten.

Nachteile

Einziger Nachteil ist der vergleichsweise hohe Preis, und mit der Zeit auch der deutliche Lockin-Effekt.

Die App hat alle Anzeichen, dass sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt gut funktioniert. Anwendung funktioniert einwandfrei bis vor einer Woche.

Nachteile

Derzeit gibt es Probleme, bei denen ich Fotos versendet habe, und sie werden nicht übertragen, so dass ein nicht initiierter Zwischenruf zurückbleibt. Wie dem auch sei, es werden die nicht gesendeten Bilder nicht gelöscht, um sie verschwinden zu lassen.

I like that I can create private channels for me and my C-executives team and control who access the channel. I like that I can access Slack in different ways like Web based, Software and mobile application which enable me to stay up to date with my Slack community anytime, anywhere. Integrating third party apps like Calendly with Slack is also very useful for me.

Nachteile

It is really confusing to find the people and conversations where I was tagged or mentioned on Slack. Sometime Slack sent me notification on email which I prefer, and many times it does not. Also, I don't like video calls in Slack, the quality if poor and the feature for sharing my screen is not very functional.

Communication is seamless. Even though it is an instant messaging product, it lends itself surprisingly well to transactional communication as well, effectively replacing email for most use cases.

Search is painful. Notifications with channel membership takes some work to get right.

The interface and integration capabilities of Slack are several times more modern than similar messaging tools.

Slack has more work to do to overtake market share in Enterprise use cases, meaning those professional teams who are already integrated into the Microsoft environment and prefer Teams. It is often the case where Slack is used on the side, as an addendum, to a team that is already using a different communication platform. I guess this kind of problem would be best remedied by better marketing & outreach to promote Slack’s features and ease.

We are a prodominently remote business now and what stands out most about Slack is its ability to centralize communication in a way that makes teamwork seamless. The channels allow for organized discussions around specific topics, and the integration with other tools makes it easy to streamline workflows. It makes collaboration feel more dynamic because you can react to messages, share updates in real-time, and even automate some tasks to save time.

Nachteile

One of the things I like least about Slack is the potential for information overload. With so many channels, threads, and messages, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to keep up with everything, especially if you're part of a large team or working on multiple projects at once. Notifications can pile up quickly, and it’s easy to miss important messages buried in a sea of conversations.

The cost is somewhat steep, especially as the team grows. Was recently notified that they were adding a limit to 10 connected apps and would charge us 40% more if we had over 10 (this is down from the previous ulimited). Though they quicky changed their mind. Lead to a fair amount of wasted time internally assessing connections.

Honestly - nothing big comes to mind. I love using Slack. I have noticed a bug recently were messages on my phone are quite delayed compared to my desktop app but this is very minor

I'm not sure if this is a Slack issue or a user issue. I’m an Apple product fanatic; however, when my Slack is buzzing with notifications from all the workflows and channels I’m in, my phone, laptop, and watch all go off simultaneously, which can be overstimulating. Although I’ve turned off notifications on my watch (for my sanity), there are times I wish only certain channels would communicate to it.

When using slack to communicate with former employers and coworkers in training I noticed it's efficient communication tools. One example of this is that you can operate the program by creating different channels. Operating in different channels is key to organization when you want to transition from different communication sources between individuals. Another important feature that slack offers is file sharing. File sharing allows you to share with others, and you also have the choice to file share with another privately. The program seemed to operate smoothly without any glitches. Slack is a great way to communicate and is suggested for Employer's new hires.

The only disadvantage I have had by using Slack were minor annoyances when finding some of my former conversations. I also feel that many icons made my scrolling around the program disorganized.

You can have real-time conversations with the invited members, such as 1:1 conversations and group conversations, and discussions and discussions on various topics within the channel. Also, within the same project, a separate channel for each task can be created and proceeded, so the project can be operated in various forms. And Slack is very light, providing a pleasant service environment.

I am using only the necessary functions of the slack, so there is no disadvantage yet.

Additionally, the free plan has limited message storage, which can be frustrating when trying to access older conversations.
