Key Metric Reporting is cooler now
Vorteile
I love this tool as I've used the Microsoft Power BI and SAP tools for years to run reporting and to show our KPIs for our local department and our region. With Looker, not only I or a few key managers, but all the team can run queries to visualize our key metrics and to see where we stand from week to week.
Nachteile
Not really any cons, but I would love for Looker to give us the ability to access real-time data and see a query automatically update within a given dashboard.

Easy to use
Being able to self-serve analytics and visualizations and not have to wait on an analyst is very valuable
Vorteile
I love that you can query right in the Looker platform and quickly add visualizations for the results. Being able to tweak the query and drill down into filters and segments without leaving the platform is a valuable time saver.
Nachteile
I haven't found anything I don't like about the software yet, but I am a relatively new user to this product.

Powerful Analytical Tool For Big Data
Customer service is awesome as they are available any time and quick to respond to your questions on LookML and errors.
Vorteile
We use this tool to analyze Sengkang Central Residences market at https://sengkangcentralsresidences.com and combining with property market in Singapore. We were able to pull insightful data that helped our marketing and research.
Nachteile
Probably the cost as its not a cheap software compared to Tableau..

Looker requires some set up upfront from the tech team, but once it's up and running it creates easy access to data in user-friendly format. Visualizations and tables are both easy, and the SQL option makes it possible for more technical users to dig deep into the data.

LOOKERS
Looker allows me to visualize data from my paid marketing programs. It is easy and simple to use both in nature and for use on a daily basis. It is easy to draw conclusions, visualize trends, and create formulas and filters without the needed background/degree as a data analyst (I do not have an SQL background).

On the left-hand side, it can be difficult to see what the selections are at a quick glance in order to uncheck a field (when you cannot visualize a query)

Valuable tool, excellent customer service
We were looking for a simple to use, yet transparent analytics solution to use with our data warehouse. Looker fit the bill very well, but what really convinced us was the excellent service we received during the on ramp as well as the support we continue to receive today.

For Great Insights Go With Looker
Looker has been a huge help for our entire team in the few short months we've used it. Better than alternatives we've tried in the past.
Vorteile
The ability to segment reports and see customer engagement within our app is really helpful. Also, seeing what content is being consumed is helpful for our team.
Nachteile
Since you can customize reports so intricately, sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the platform. With more usage though, I expect that to get easier.

Good for the value. A lot of great features. But still figuring it out!
I tried this product out a while back and was very dissatisfied. Recently, however I have come back to it and could not be more pleased. For my small real estate business it is very to easy to use but I wouldn't say it is the most intuitive. Large scale use would definitely require probably individualized training. It has so many features it is not quite as streamlined as some other software I have used. I found I used their customer support a lot!
