They connected me to a local "expert" who completely messed up their understanding of local regulation, which ended up costing me thousands of Euros. A year later when this was clear, I had to spend hours and hours communicating with them via chat support and sending them the written proof of their mess up. Not only did I need to do my own research, and I ended up being way more knowledgable than their own "expert" on the local regulation, and had to spend days trying to get in contact with someone senior. But most of all, they refused any form of compensation for their mistake. So to sum up again: 1. check your work calendar. Do you have 4 hours every week to spend on getting answers to issues that your remote employees face? 2. Is money not an issue for your employees, when remote.com messes up with local regulation?
