The user roles and permissions in Look Digital Signage are what made this workable. I sit as the central admin, each faculty has moderation rights over their own screen group, and the students' union has a completely separate set of screens that they manage independently. Nobody can accidentally publish to someone else's screens. The RSS integration has been good for keeping news content current without manual effort we pull from the official university news feed. For our main entrance screens, I use multi-zone layouts: university news in one zone, the week's events in another, and an Instagram feed from the official account in a third. We're on a mix of hardware some screens run on existing displays, others use the players on older screens that don't have smart capabilities.
