Even 3rd party plugins dont help much. The UI is slow and unattractive and after 6 months trying to get JIRA Porfolio to work (a cool idea\!) I could never get it to and the response from Atlassian was disappointing overall. In some cases there were more than 10 people involved in the project that would have very small interactions. It would not make sense to purchase licenses for everyone. > > TP helped us a lot to manage a complex project that had many teams working in parallel in a large product roadmap. My conclusion was that to be worth the investment the teams should take advantage of all the features and metrics that it can generate. Depending on client's project management in some cases it was not possible to use correctly sprints and generate metrics.
