Das einfache Setup und die Anzahl an unterstützen Media Playern hat mich von Yodeck überzeugt. Wir nutzen Raspberry Pis zur Wiedergabe der Inhalte. Die Anbindung mit PowerBi ist gut umgesetzt.

Nachteile

Looker Studio funktioniert leider nicht zuverlässig. Das Problem konnte ich lösen durch die Verwendung der Website integration in Verbindung mit der Scripting Engine um die richtigen Befehle auf der Website auszuführen.

Yodeck ermöglicht recht unkompliziert das Erstellen und Verwalten der digitalen Anzeige auf verschiedenen Geräten.

Ich nutze Yodeck seit mehreren Monaten und hatte bisher keine Probleme/Schwierigkeiten.

Der Einrichtungsprozess war extrem einfach. Besonders gut ist der WYSIWYG-Editor zur Gestaltung der Anzeige. Sehr hilfreich ist auch der Zeitplan, der es ermöglicht die Anzeigetafel außerhalb der Bürozeiten auszuschalten.

Nachteile

Mit der Einbindung von hochauflösenden Videos gab es einige Probleme sodass schlussendlich Videos komprimiert werden mussten um Abstürze und ruckelnde Bilder zu vermeiden.

Vorteile

Die Einfachheit wie alles abläuft, vom Anmelden bis zu der Versendung des Players. verständliches Backend.

Nachteile

Man muss erst blicken wie das mit den Playlisten und dann mit der Zeitleise funktioniert. Die Mail-Adresse steht Yodeck dran und nicht meine Mail Adresse. Da ich dies in Zukunft für meine Kunden mehr machen möchte, ist dies natürlich nicht so gut.

In the spirit of a fair review, it's worth considering any drawbacks of the Yodeck digital signage platform. However, in the two years since its installation at Andrew Johnson Golf Club, the system has operated flawlessly, with no notable issues to report. The one instance where we required assistance, the hiccup was swiftly and efficiently resolved by their responsive support staff. While some may yearn for a con to weigh against the many pros, our experience has been so positive that finding fault seems more like searching for a needle in a well-kept fairway. Yodeck has proven to be a reliable and robust solution for our digital communication needs.

Yodeck is a great, easy to use system. The interface is clean and intuitive to use. There are lots of built-in templates to get you started, but it can also accept content imported from other methods like pictures, Powerpoints, PDFs and Canva. It is quick to refresh and push out new content to screens. The customer support have been quick to respond to queries. I also recommend reading the Yodeck Documentation page as it is really helpful.

Nachteile

The 1GB Pi sometimes struggles/lags when there are multiple apps in your playlist, so I would recommend the 2GB or higher version if you want more complex graphics.

Wanted to move away from an open source product to a more established product. Also wanting to refresh our out-of-date Firestick players which we used with Xibo.

The cost versus the amount of features Yodeck has was a benefit to us.

Nothing. $79 For their in-house hardware. Tech support that doesn't give a sh%t. Buggy Unusable software. Waste of time and money.

Vorteile

Yodeck is simple to setup, inexpensive and easy to manage. There isn't much of a learning curve with the Yodeck user interface and purchasing the players (we upgraded from the free players to the 4gb version for a nominal charge) from Yodeck is a plus and a must if you don't want to fool with setup. When I got my players, all I had to do was plug them into the screens, power them on and register them. Yodeck added our wifi settings and named the devices so that was great and meant a few less steps for me. Getting the content setup and figuring out scheduling, layouts, etc. was a breeze using the Yodeck tutorial videos. And when I did run into an issue, their online chat support was there to walk me through the solution quickly. There's really no negatives with Yodeck!

Nachteile

It took me a few trys to get the scheduling to work the way I needed it to. I just didn't understand exactly how it worked. But after a few tries and watching the tutorial, I got it to work and now it's working seamlessly for us.

I've used Chrome Sign Builder, Kitcast, etc... the value of Yodeck as a small business is unparalleled. They really understand small business.

Nachteile

Nothing. I can forgive any general software glitches as they seem rare and often repaired quickly.

What do I like best about Yodeck? It really is the complete package! Yodeck gives me everything I am looking for and they make it affordable. Also, it's just so easy to use.

I've really tried to come up with a dislike....but I can't. It's a bit cliche, but I seriously love Yodeck.

This can be restrictive for users who want to explore all the features of the product without committing to a payment plan.

Feature packed and widely compatible multimedia support with such a simple and clean interface to manage all your digital signage.

Understanding scheduling and prioritizing order was a challenge to comprehend and the guides.

Some of the dynamic Apps show loading screens briefly. I believe this is something they are working on improving.

It is incredibly user friendly for both admins and customers. It's cheap and easy to deploy, it's easy to manage...it's amazing!

Nachteile

There are limited features compared to more full-fledged platforms, such as wayfinding. But we do not utilize that.

Warum Yodeck gewählt wurde

Visix's hardware was expensive, finnicky, and unreliable. It felt like we were constantly fixing players. The interface was not user friendly, and required downloading apps to update content.

I assessed 20 different digital signage platforms, and YoDeck sits in a great middle ground. It is cheap and uses inexpensive hardware, but still feels stable and easy to use like a more fully-feature platform.

Ease of use, I love the layout feature! Snapping to the grid and ability to preview is wonderful!

Nachteile

I love working with Brightsign, so I hope they can integrate apps that work well with it.

Using the trail and Yodeck being so transparent with using a trail and not being restricted on how many days I get to play with it. Knowing the customers will always pick the company that treats them right. I previously bought a Raspberry Pi Player with Optisign and I spent a fortune....I wish I had know about this I would have just subscribed for the year! That is definitely a PLUS!
