Vorteile

Der größte Nutzen ist, dass man die Oberfläche und Struktur komplett selber aufbauen kann und somit an seine eigene Bedürfnisse anpassen kann. Durch die Funktion der "databases" und "relations" kann man Projekte und Aufgaben miteinander verknüpfen und perfekt visualisieren.

Nachteile

Das Dokumentenmanagement finde ich zu umständlich. Ich mag es, dass ich Dokumente an die unterschiedlichsten Projekte, Kunden, Aufgaben, etc anhängen kann. Aber bei Abruf der Datei erfolgt immer ein neuer Download aus der Cloud. Da ist eine genrelle Cloud Lösung übersichtlicher.

Vorteile

Modernes, übersichtliches und dennoch umfangreiches Projektmanagement- und Wissensdatenbank-Tool, Desktop-App für Mac verfügbar, attraktive Start-Up Förderung

Nachteile

Teilweise ungewohnt lange Seiten-Ladezeiten (zumindest in der Desktop App für Mac)

Vorteile

Ich kann meine alle Projekten in verscheidenen Aufgaben verteilen und jede Aufgabe eine Frist zuweisen. Das hilft mir meine Aufgaben zu verfolgen.

Nachteile

Der einzige Nachteil den ich sehe ist dass wenn ich ein neues Projekt Template eratellen möchte, das bestehende Template wird auch geändert.

Vorteile

Die vielen Funktionen zum darstellen von Inhalt und das einfache Erstellen von Subdokumenten oder Datenbanken in einem existierenden Dokument. Das ganze ist zudem noch sehr benutzerfreundlich.

Nachteile

Task und Checklisten management ist ein wenig limitiert. Leider gibt es bisher auch keine Integrationen wie Grammarly etc.

Vorteile

Notion ist intuitiv zu bedienen, übersichtlich und bietet meiner Meinung nach viel bessere Optionen, als zum Beispiel ein Markdown Editor. Gerade die sortierbaren, filterbaren Datenbank-Blöcke (Tabellen, Boards, Kalender etc.) sind super hilfreich in der Organisation.

Nachteile

Am wenigsten gefällt mir, dass SSO nur in der Enterprise Version verfügbar ist. Auch kleinere Unternehmen, die sich nicht gleich das teure Enterprise Paket kaufen möchten, sollten die Möglichkeit haben SSO zu nutzen.

Vorteile

Das es mir die Möglichkeit gibt, in einem Dokument mehrere Arten von Information festzuhalten. Neben einfachem Text integriere ich z. B. Miro Boards und Grid Diagramme in die Dokumente.

Nachteile

Die Funktion für Todo Listen sollte noch verbessert werden, da diese terade einfach mur bessere Excel Sheets mit Checkboxen sind.

Vorteile

Klare Struktur. Papiergrösse nachempfunden. Einfügen von pdf, Bildern usw. gut gelöst. Nutze die integrierte Funktion im Browser und Seiten direkt in Notion zu speichern. Synchronisiert mit meinen Geräten.

Nachteile

Suchfunktion durchsucht die eingefügten pdf nicht.

Vorteile

Die frei wählbaren Headerbanner sind sehr schön und die Übersichtlichkeit zu jedem Zeitpunkt gegeben. Features mehr als ausreichend für private und berufliche Zwecke.

Nachteile

Nichts nennenswertes. Schade, dass ich die Software erst so spät entdeckt habe.

Vorteile

Egal ob man die Software zum To-DOs aufschreiben oder zum Notizen machen braucht, alles wird unterstützt.

Nachteile

Die App ist manchmal ein wenig zu komplex und man weiss nicht genau, was man wo machen muss.

As a site engineer, it is my utmost priority to ensure resources are being efficiently utilized on site without causing any progress delays. Notion plays a crucial role in helping me organize & visualize my current & upcoming tasks as well as which ones require immediate attention to remain on track with the project schedule. Assigning workforce & performing reallocations is done easily using Notion & that helps me further optimize my workforce to drive progression in our project. Collaborating with our engineering crew to virtually meet & resolve several project obstacles have been one of the strongest use-case scenarios with this utility.

Nachteile

I cannot think of a limitation encountered with the service. Notion catalyses my work & it's just perfect the way it is.

It is a quite useful app that allows you to share your project plans or notes to your teammates. Although i struggled when using the app tho.

Nachteile

The user interface was such a mess. It was quite lookalike of old IOS apps. Feel of the app was just awful.

Vorteile

At the same time it's very simple and easy to use, but advanced and flexible. You can easily see that it was created by the people with high appreciation of good UX (User Experience) in software. You can shape it to become your note taking app, knowledge base, personal project management, company project management, budget planner, and so much more...

Nachteile

The flexibility comes with the price - at certain moment it lacks the structure. Then, you can use it in so many different areas, that when you start using it in a specific domain, it starts to compete with bigger tools which will be always more advanced (as they are dedicated to one specific thing).Sometimes, it can be little slow when working on project with many pages.

It’s one platform with a huge amount of hyperlinked and metadated content. Content in its databases is presented in an unlimited number of filtered views - anyone gets served, based on only one truth that recycles the data.The AI component is really added value: it helps me translate, write letters, write documentation; it helps me think! And it even acts as a coach for me!!It also offers you the possibility to present your information in beautifully designed ways.

Nachteile

I can understand that some find it too dynamic, when they are used to the Microsoft files in folders, or the ‘my desktop’-world. Here you are always “together” —- collaboration is in the dna of Notion. Welcome to the 21st century!

Vorteile

What I like best about Notion is its flexibility. I’ve been able to build tools that directly address my own needs. I’m now able to store knowledge in a clear, organized way via the personal zettlekasten I’ve built.I also love Notion for it’s versatility with with business. I’ve been able to build a management system that helps my team and I stay productive and efficient. I can allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure transparency of responsibilities and workloads. Not to mention, the new AI writing assistant has saved me HOURS of time copywriting!I also Notion in my day-to-day life to collect and plan recipes, manage grocery lists, and schedule home upkeep and errands.

Nachteile

The only thing Notion lacks is a marketplace. Such a marketplace would be incredibly convenient for three types of users: 1) new users, 2) all users, and 3) template sellers. It would create a more trusted, centralized place to source and buy quality templates. When I first began using the product, a Notion-owned marketplace would have given me both awareness that I could buy templates and the confidence to move forward in using the product. With such an open-ended product and no experience, it can be challenging to know what to do with it (at first).As a template seller, a marketplace would give me the ability to push updates to customers and find relief in knowing that someone couldn't duplicate and redistribute my product.

Notion has WAY more flexibility and features compared to any of it's competitors.

Vorteile

It is a user-friendly space for organizing the work of any remote team. Multiple workspaces, the ability to create templates, and a very robust database system work to the advantage of keeping your thoughts and notes organized. Just remember to spend some time planning the architecture. It's not the easiest entry point, but once that's settled it's really a pleasure to work with.

Nachteile

Once the organization is large enough, keeping all the articles current is a challenge. I would recommend finding a couple of Notion champions who would keep the volume and quality in check.

I like how Notion helps me keep all areas of my life organized, from work to side projects to my day-to-day personal life, all in one application. Brainstorming has become more accessible, and my project planning is more organized. Now with the AI feature, it helps to take the guesswork out of specific mundane tasks and speeds up many processes for me.

Nachteile

There are no downsides for me. I feel like it's only gotten better over time. There are a ton of templates that already fit my needs, so no worries there. The addition of AI has only made it better, so keep up the good work.

Vorteile

I love the customizable templates, the relationships, the record-keeping, and how easy it is to beautify and truly make it your own.

Nachteile

I would like to see Notion for Ipad better writing technology. I'd even settle for a "handwriting block".

I found Notion to be more versatile and flexible regarding personalization and specific to my needs.

Vorteile

I love the AI writing assistant that helps me right better messages, and get better engagement. I use every day and every car to take notes and clean them up before I submit them somewhere else. It helps me be more efficient and stay organized by acting as a knowledge base.

Nachteile

Sometimes do you I can be a little sensitive to miss clicking. I wish there was a way to lock things in place on the page.

Vorteile

Flexibility: Notion can be whatever you want it to be. Some folk use it to take notes, other people find it a great meeting organizer. I use it as a master database of all things work and personal: tasks, notes, calendar reminders, bookmark manager... You can program it to suit your needs. It is highly advisable to model in paper what is it that you want from Notion.

Nachteile

Notion is a very closed ecosystem. I would love it to synchronize with Google Calendar or for it to talk nicely. to Gmail. Not an option right now.
The calendar view can benefit from a "weekly" or "agenda" view.
Offline work is still a work in progress.
Can become difficult to use if databases are not planned properly.

1. Great flexibility - it allows you to custom your pages however you want, it's like all its competitors in one! Whether you need standard tables, text, mood board, project management tools, task lists, Notion has it all

2. Shortcuts and links for everything - once you become an advanced user, you'll finish your work faster you could ever imagine, as it has shortcuts for every action. You can also link pages, and pull out the data from one page to another, which is incredibly important when you're managing projects & people

3. Perfect for both personal and private use - I store my reading lists, to do's, home binder, and run my company in the same app

4. Large online community with lots of creative ideas on how to get the best out of this software.

Nachteile

I would like it to be encrypted, and by far this is the only disadvantage I've found.

It's just slightly better than trello, but nowhere near to Notion.

I liked the fact that we were able to create a fantastic GTD system (getting things done) that helps us keep track of our active projects, review tasks and collect all ideas and insights that get later categorized

Nachteile

their task management UI is less intuitive to use than notion, which makes us upset because it's the main reason we use notion, especially on mobile

Notion quite frankly does it all - it is an area to organize and store information, it provides a platform to collaborate with cross-functional partners, task-management for projects, plan internal events, ETC!

Nachteile

At times, formatting text / pages can be difficult as a first time user, however once you get the hang of it its not too hard. I looked up a few youtube tutorial videos on how to format pages easier. Perhaps Notion could offer some instructional videos on formatting!

Vorteile

The way notion links up and create connections between your knowledge is spectacular, you would think you are using a relational database management software. It is easily customization and also has powerful functions that you can use to extend its capability. Notion has a great community who have developed templates for almost anything conceivable and most of these templates are for free.
Another thing is the seamless integration with the mobile app, its like you are actually working on the same device

Nachteile

Notion has limited fonts and styling. The most painful part of notion is the inability to set recurrent tasks in notion, it is a pain, you have to buy addons to be able to achieve this

I love the user interface. I thoroughly enjoy database linking. They recently added tabs and its the best feature thus far!

Nachteile

The mobile app is not stellar. It has vastly improved in the past year. This app thrives on a desktop.

Cost. I paid an insane amount of money for Things and they released a major update that would have been a brand-new purchase. I know there are arguments for this sort of thing but I think it's ridiculous when so many other apps and software give you updates for free.
