Billig - und das sieht man leider im Support und der Funktion

Wenn es schon an der Anlage des Accounts selber mit Steuer-ID hapert, dann sollte man vorsichtig werden.
Wenn die Software nicht binnen 1-2 Stunden mit IT-Support und über Tage mit dem Hersteller-Support nicht lauffähig ist, dann ist es Bananen-Software - und sowas unterstütze ich nicht. Auch bei dem Preis nicht.

Vorteile

Der Preis hat mich begeistert, deshalb haben wir dieses Tool ausprobiert.

Nachteile

Der Account konnte nicht mit einer seit Jahren gültigen Umsatzsteuer-Identnummer angelegt werden. Hin- und her mit dem Support geschrieben, schließlich einen Workaround gefunden. Das darf nicht passieren.
Das Setup war nicht möglich, wir haben es auch mit Support nicht geschafft, eine Verbindung aufzubauen.

Reliable and affordable

remote access has been easier for me thanks to remotepc, i am able to access computers and navigation with ease while sharing files

Asesome Software

Overall, the experience has been fantastic. Great speed.

Vorteile

The product is very easy to install and has worked flawlessly. I am currently just using a one PC version to allow access to my home PC when I am traveling. Love the ability to drag and drop files from one PC to another.

Nachteile

It was a bit confusing on whether or not I had to install a remote copy of the software in addition to the software on the primary PC. Once I had the client installed in my browser, all was great. Audio from the remote PC has also been a bit scratchy and broken.

Mediocre support and continuous issues

My overall experience using the tool when not running into any issues is alright, if everything was working and going to plan i was able to work as intended. Unfortunately, this is a rare occurrence for me personally. Due to the lack of EU support, we have had to wait days for an issue to get solved, sometimes even to not get an answer back till we contact support back ourselves. Because of this support and the continuous number of issues we have run into we, at the current state of the product, would not recommend it to businesses planning on using it in the EU region. I feel like the product would be a lot more useable if you have the phone support the US region does, this is why i recommend getting an EU line.

Vorteile

What i like about the software is the availability is has, you are technically able to do anything you have to be able to do in a remote session to be able to work normally in a remote session like; printing, file transfer and the fact you are able to launch certain apps only through RDP Connector.

Nachteile

What i currently do not like about RemotePC is the lack of support for people in the EU region and the number of issues we have run into. The support for people in the EU region is slim to none, the chat support is great, but they are only 1st line and are not able to perform any actual support actions other than tell you where you can get help, help you with FAQ and check the status on your support tickets. The actual support (via email and phone) is poor. We have only an hour a day where we can get proper support via phone and even then, we usually end up getting forwarded and told to wait a few business days before an issue can be resolved and that we should check our email through the week. This has cost us a lot of time and because of this we have not been able to finish the work for a client for nearly a month now. The email replies are a lot of time very minimal and sometimes we dont even get a response back for days or at all, we ask support again and get told to wait a few more days and give the team some more time. As an IT provider this is unacceptable and can cause for a loss of clients, this also causes for a company to look into other alternatives to this product. Therefore, my biggest suggestion for RemotePC is a support line for Europe or a general 5 day 24 hours a day call line.

Amazingly Simple Access

I have been blown away how simple the program is to use and the functionality of things like file transfers, remote access, and mobile device apps for pc access. They have a new customer that will be a return customer!

Vorteile

The program has extremely easy setup and onboarding. I’m now in full control of my tech stack without the need to lug laptops all over creation.

Nachteile

I wish the pricing was a bit more incremental. I’d really like to manage a few more devices but not as many as the next pricing tier.

Good remote software

Been using it for a little under a month and overall I am content that we didnt have to break the bank to get a fully featured remote software license.

Vorteile

Compared to other options on the market RemotePC is among the most cost effective (even if you dont get a promo price) offering the most bang for your buck with its features.

Nachteile

Sometimes not as fluid as anydesk or teamviewer but tolerable.

Remote PC the best remote access experience

The best experience in remote access, overall, it exceeded our Team expectations.

Vorteile

It offers convenience, flexibility, and efficiency. It has allowed our team to access our office computers from anywhere, and it has allowed the whole team to collaborate in real-time, enhancing productivity at 100% and reducing downtime.

Nachteile

Nothing really so far it has been a great experience, we were using TeamViewer and Remote PC is much better, and it has become our application of choice for remote access.

Best app for Beam Pro and Xreal Glasses

10/10 so far its been the smoothest remotepc experience ive used.

Best remote softare i have found to use with AR glasses and Beam Pro (Xreal). IT works with the bt input device so well. Highly recommend if you are using Xreal beam pro. I am using it on a mac which was hard to get other programs to work well with

Amazing Software

I installed RemotePC recently and I found it smooth and fast.

Also, I liked the simplicity of it which helped me alot with my work as I needed to login into my pc while I’m outside work.

Great service for accessing client machines remotely!

Had been looking for a more cost effective alternative for accessing my clients' computers remotely. RemotePC is helping me do just that, and just as effectively in regards to accomplishing my goal(s) in that department, as well as with a lower price per year for the same type of service received from competing companies!

Vorteile

Software easy to install, link to your account on client machines.

Also like how cloud backup is integrated into the web panel, can be easily implemented into your setup.

Access speed more than acceptable for remote access, speed comparative to being on the machine itself!

Nachteile

Only issue/con regarding the software is that client software had to be installed twice on just one computer before being registered on the web panel. Fine after 2nd install, no others gave negative response.

Will not call this a RemotePC issue, as some settings were changed on the computer between 1st and 2nd install that may have been root cause...

A less expensive full featured alternative

Overall, the experience has been very positive with ease of use and deployment.

Vorteile

Remote access, unattended access, and the ability to move files easily have all been game changers for our small agency. It was really easy to deploy across all of our computers and it has made it a breeze to be able to log in, move files, provide real time support, and ensure that our machines are as functional and safe as possible. We had previously been using an alternative that cost more and did not deliver as good of service without some limitations. We've been super happy with the switch and aren't planning to return to our prior program.

Nachteile

Overall, we have been really pleased with the product and haven't found the features that we use to be lacking. However, we are a really small organization with simpler needs and I can see that larger organizations with more complex needs may find the overall product to be a bit simple for their needs.

I'm coming back! Whoa. Teamviewer is not for me.

I didn't appreciate them and switched to Teamviewer and it was the worst experience EVER. There's no way the Teamviewer reviews are real.

It is solid, affordable, they are a decent organization.

Sometimes it seems hard for my clients to use, but I'm going to figure that out.

A Superb Cost Effective option to the expensive competitor

So far, its been wonderful.

Vorteile

After spending a year with a competitor, I loved that the switch to RemotePC was painless, quick and provided all the same functionality at a fraction of the cost with added Backup Options that are also easy to deploy and use. Something the competitor had but was not very clear on regarding the pricing. RemotePC was very direct and upfront on what you got for what you paid.

Nachteile

I have yet found something I did not like. Maybe not learning of RemotePC a year prior when I first paid for the competitor.

Remote working made possible for everyone

In the short time that we had to switch our co-workers to allow them to work remotely at home, RemotePC really became a clutch tool since we were able to deploy it fast, and also because it had such a low learning curve, people who wasn't so computer savvy were able to work seemlessly.

Vorteile

We were pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to deploy this software to all of our users when we had to switch to a remotely operated work environment. Even people who weren't pro computer users, were able to easily login and start controlling their work PCs at home.

Nachteile

If there was a drawback, I would say the speed, but this is the problem with all remote desktop softwares. With RemotePC, you can at lease control it in a way so that you can slightly reduce the visual quality if you need the boost of speed.

New SOHO User

So far after a few days I like the program. It is a good value.

Vorteile

Remote PC appeared to have benefit to our organization and I decided to give it a try. I have only employed it for a few days. My first connect was eventually successful with the help of help desk chat. The presentation of the remote screen, Mac as remote and PC as host, was clear, responsive and uncluttered. I can see it will take a while and some more coaching to fully understand and operate. I am up for that. It has been a good beginning.

Nachteile

I am an experienced PC user, but it will take watching videos, reading FAQs and coaching from the Help Desk to be fully up and running. It's not entirely intuitive.

Grand solution for Hybrid work style

My company has implemented a hybrid schedule whereas the employee shifts are set that everyone only comes into the office 3 days a week. The other 2 days are fully remote. We just started rolling out RemotePC and find it fairly seamless in using compared to our existing remote software. The installations however did not come completely without some hiccups. It would be great to have better online instructions for different size companies. Initially we purchased the single user license and then switched to the Team license. This created a user problem. I like the fact that the install is hinged off of the remote users email address, but this is also limited (or is there a way around this? There does not seem to be a lot of examples on how to set up the software). Overall experience is very nice though and I would recommend this software to others who are trying to implement remote computer controls. Our setup is the home PCs are Lenovo Laptops. The remote computers are Intel Nuc PCs.

The feature that is most impactful? - I am the Admin (for RemotePC) and a user for my small company of 12. The most impactful feature is the "File Transfer" functionality of RemotePC. We are used to another remote software package and find that "RemotePC" has a better integrated (and more intuitive) design to transfer files back and forth between PC.

Nachteile

Features you feel are missing or could be improved? - I am a new user for RemotePC (only a few months if that of user ability). We are rolling this software out in my company slowly and currently have a total of 3 users operating RemotePC. The 2 users and myself are all experiencing the same issue that it seems to be difficult to connect to the remote computers after they have (gone to sleep? or after about 10 minutes after being logged out of the computers). If the "Classic" option is chosen in a RemotePC session there does not seem to be an issue, however if the "Performance" option is chosen in a RemotePC session the 'connecting' never seems to be established. If you choose the "Classic" option then establish a connection, disconnect and then establish a connection using the "Performance" option this seems to work. As a nice to have (we cannot seems to find this option available), it would be nice to have an option within the software to have a timed session or the ability (for security reasons) to disconnect the session after the time has expired or if the non-remote computer has gone to sleep or a screen-saver has kicked in. The screen resolution of the connection in RemotePC seems to change when the remote computer is logged out back to the Windows 11 login screen. This is happening only on 2 remote computers right now.

Great Software, But Could Use Better Instructions

I have used RemotePC daily for the last week in support of a client. It works exactly as I would have liked it to work. In one case, the keyboard stopped working, but I quickly fixed it by disconnecting and reconnecting. I love the fact that you can use the Attended Access feature without even installing the software on my PC.

Vorteile

Great price. Works well. Has two modes: Unattended and Attended Access. (The latter is perfect for remote support professionals.) From a trusted company.

Nachteile

Better documentation or user interface needed. Two examples: First, when an entry-level user wants to enable a second person to access his PC, the software should explain that the PC user must upgrade to a Soho account. This would not only reduce confusion but should also result in more upgrades. Second, the software should do a better job of explaining what the software does in Unattended Mode. RemotePC is basically two programs in one: Unattended Access, for someone who wants to access his own PC, and Attended Access, for someone who wants other to help other people.

Great software to work remotely

It has been a savior for me, given that I used other software initially. It really helped me during the work-from-home phase, where a reliable remote access tool was the need of the hour.

Vorteile

It is a great tool to work with. Great features are easily accessible and usable. It works great for me even during a slow internet connection. Apart from remote access, it can also be used to transfer huge files.

Nachteile

User interface can be improved a bit. Also, prices can be made more affordable looking at the highly competitive market.

Thank God I found RemotePC

I can keep up with the craziness of medical approvals and appointments et al. There is always a blue feather that someone somewhere requires that I go in quest of.

Vorteile

RemotePC is like a service I used more than 20 years ago and is about the same price for one person. I wanted a service that I could use with a web browser when I was at a motel provided computer or at the homes of friends or family. My current webmail site for my domain name is very bad-long story. And yet I need my email because multiple doctors are sending me many links to go to portals for instructions and these are very time sensitive at this point. Putting an App on someone else's computer won't work. The Lite connection is such a blessing. Nothing like working with your own email program and having access to your files, even your browsing history. I am relieved. I love it.

Nachteile

The Mac mouse doesn't work well with the Lite connection. Non Mac mice work fine. Maybe my daughter's Mac is just too old, but I can't get the application for connection to open. Happy to just use Lite on the Mac.

Easy to use and have everything I need

The UI needs an update. Although it is pretty clear what the buttons do, they are a bit outdated.

Great value for money!

Vorteile

Love the ease of use as well as value for money! Very reasonably priced compared to the other options available.

Nachteile

Sometimes we have issues getting a larger screen to appear on our view but I believe that's more with the monitors we are using and not the actual software issue

Work from anywhere - made easy!

Vorteile

No matter where I am, I can access my work computer and the files on there. I can even print on the work printer while I'm somewhere else. Lets me work with my team while not in the office!

Nachteile

There are times when the software lags a little bit, but I think that's more due to internet problems, and not the software itself. Save time, transfer the file you need to use to your laptop and don't rely on the internet.
